Urban Decay Greed Primer Potion
Urban Decay Spring 2011: Greed Primer Potion
Greed ($18.00 for 0.34 oz.) is new and not new — it is new because it is the first time it has been available on its own (and full-sized), but it was originally launched as part of Urban Decay Little Sins Eyeshadow Primer Potion Set.
- Greed is a shimmering slightly pale gold with yellow undertones.
Even though I tested Greed previously for wear, I found the full-size version to be more pigmented and the overall finish of the product seemed different to me. I tested and photographed Greed just this past October, but the full-sized version has more of a metallic finish with a stronger sheen.
The finish is quite similar to Sin’s, but I specifically mentioned in the previous post on Greed that it had more of a shimmer than frost finish. Because Greed has more of a metallic finish, it reflects more light, but the color itself is still a beautiful pale yellow gold. I was, however, still able to wear Greed all day on its own or as an eyeshadow base without creasing.

Can you do a comparison between Sin and Greed, maybe with an eyeshadow over them in order to see the real difference? Thanks! 🙂
Check out the post linked in this post about the set – they are swatched side by side. They are completely different!
I never really liked these colorful UDPP’s. I prefer the original, to be honest. This is a really pretty color though.
I’m an N15, and on me this one is super dark and yellow metallic, whilst Sin is super dark and pink metallic on me. Eden and original ones are perfect. Eden is completely matte, original has a subtle glow just like my own skin.
The color is beautiful, and I can imagine it works well on my skin tone. Yet the packaging is still a love/hate issue !
I will definitely try it! I´m a big fan of Sin because I love the shimmer.
Greed looks so gorgeous!!
I’m cool toned but I think this one was my favorite from the sampler pack, so I’m glad they’re releasing it.
This looks nice, but the Sin one creases on me. So, I could imagine that this would do the same. 🙁
They need a makeover and stop offering this type of packaging.
I love this!
Very pretty! I’m sooo glad it’s not as gold as the packaging, lol!
I will be ordering this for myself as soon as possible! 8D
I am not a fan of either the sin or greed udpp. Maybe because of the way I apply it – I’m not precise at all – I just kind of swab all over my upper and lower lid and blend like crazy. I tried both sin and greed on and they looked bad.
Eden, on the other hand, I do like. It blends right in to my yellow-tone complexion.
Hi Christine 🙂
I was wondering how it will affect the color or finish of an eyeshadow?
Make it frostier/more metallic, it can also add warmth.
UD marketing is sure clever. They sell those little sins as Limited Edition and I bought it in hurry just because I wanna have this Greed. And now, oh boy, they gonna sell it in full size!
Why I can’t be passion, WHYYYYYY??!!!!
I don’t see Greed on the UD website :[
Greed is a Sephora exclusive!
Eden is also out at Sephora. I would love to get Greed and Eden in the larger bottles but alas, I’m broke.
