Urban Decay Hits All the Right Notes with These Sexy Six!
There are six Urban Decay Eyeshadows ($17.00) newly released and Sephora exclusives. All six shades are richly pigmented, smooth to the touch, and easy to blend. They really represent why Urban Decay eyeshadows are so raved about. Not a single one is sheer, and none of these have gritty or glittery textures, so they’re just beautiful, seamless shades for the color lover.
- Woodstock is a vibrant medium hot pink with subtle fuchsia shimmer. It has a low pearly sheen. It’s not frosty at all!
- Free Love is a warmed-up peach melon with a golden peach sheen and slight frost finish. It’s like a darkened version of X.
- Psychedelic Sister is a medium-dark purple with red undertones and an iridescent violet sheen-shimmer. It’s not as blue-based as Flash.
- Aquarius is a pale aqua-teal with a silver-metallic sheen. This was the frostiest of the new six.
- Haight is a slight teal-blue with a frost finish and silver sheen. It’s different than Dashiki, but it’s not super teal like Shattered.
- Dashiki is a brightened medium sky blue with a soft pearled sheen.
My favorites were definitely Woodstock, Free Love, and Dashiki. I don’t have anything quite like Dashiki in my stash, so it’ll be a nice shade for the summer season. If you’ve been thinking about these, they really are fantastic. These are some of Urban Decay’s more impressive shades, just in terms of texture and pigmentation.

Are these permanent? I really wanna get Woodstock, Free Love, Aquarius, Haight, and Dashiki. BTW, you should totally do a look with Free Love, Firecracker from MAC To The Beach and Psychadelic Sister. I think that would be soooo pretty.
They don’t say limited edition on Sephora, so I would imagine they would be permanent
I did a look almost exactly like this last weekend, except I used X instead of Free Love and Flash instead of Psychadelic Sister. It was really pretty!
They are actually not permanent they are just sephora exclusives they will be gone in October I believe who knows though if there is enough love they may relaunch them.

Shimmermoss is more like UD’s Shattered, which is tealer than Haight. Psychedelic Sister is lighter than Crash, I believe. I don’t own Crash, though.
Thanks for the swatches. I already have Haight, Dashiki, and Aquarius, which I purchased online without seeing them in person because I can always count on UD having beautiful blue shadows. I wanted to get Free Love but I wasn’t sure if it looked more like Jones (don’t like) or X (love). Your reviews were helpful and now I may get Woodstock and Psychadelic Sister as well!
I don’t have Jones, but it definitely reminded me of X or MAC Melon Pigment or Benefit’s Melons. Just not quite as a duochrome-y (which isn’t a bad thing)… overall, a little darker, more peachy.

These are awesome! Yesterday I took photos of mine UD single eyeshadows and will post my review tomorrow. Anyway, I LOVE them! The texture is great, the color payoff is even better!

Psychedelic Sister is gorgeous!
I bought Psychedelic Love and I’m going back this weekend to pick up Free Love and Haight. I smudged PL on my lower lash line when I did my own version of the “summer of love” look featured on the UD model. It looks great wet. Great color payoff and no fall out (then again it’s not a glittery shade.)
I’m in love with Haight and P-Sister. Can’t wait to get my hands on them!

I think it’s pretty different, since Parrot has an almost duochrome finish to it.

I have Free Love and Haight. I haven’t done a lot with Free Love yet, but I like Haight in my crease, with MAC Aquadisiac all over, and Pfloof! on the inner corner.
I think I will probably pick up Psychedelic Sister next time I’m in Sephora. Dashiki is pretty, but I think it is very close to UD’s deluxe shadow Peace, which I have in a palette.

Damn, they should make a palette with these because all of them are great. If you looked at the eye shadows I buy/use most and narrowed it down to 6 colors, they would look almost exactly like these.

I think you could skip, though they’re not the same. I’d say Psychedelic Sister is lighter and more red-based.

As stated, MAC Does not – it has long been their policy. Not that I am an advocate for PETA, but even PETA lists MAC as a company that does not test on animals.
