Urban Decay Sephora Exclusive Eyeshadows

Urban Decay Hits All the Right Notes with These Sexy Six!

There are six Urban Decay Eyeshadows ($17.00) newly released and Sephora exclusives. All six shades are richly pigmented, smooth to the touch, and easy to blend. They really represent why Urban Decay eyeshadows are so raved about. Not a single one is sheer, and none of these have gritty or glittery textures, so they’re just beautiful, seamless shades for the color lover.

  • Woodstock is a vibrant medium hot pink with subtle fuchsia shimmer. It has a low pearly sheen. It’s not frosty at all!
  • Free Love is a warmed-up peach melon with a golden peach sheen and slight frost finish. It’s like a darkened version of X.
  • Psychedelic Sister is a medium-dark purple with red undertones and an iridescent violet sheen-shimmer. It’s not as blue-based as Flash.
  • Aquarius is a pale aqua-teal with a silver-metallic sheen. This was the frostiest of the new six.
  • Haight is a slight teal-blue with a frost finish and silver sheen. It’s different than Dashiki, but it’s not super teal like Shattered.
  • Dashiki is a brightened medium sky blue with a soft pearled sheen.

My favorites were definitely Woodstock, Free Love, and Dashiki. I don’t have anything quite like Dashiki in my stash, so it’ll be a nice shade for the summer season.  If you’ve been thinking about these, they really are fantastic.  These are some of Urban Decay’s more impressive shades, just in terms of texture and pigmentation.

  1. lucy x says:

oooh lovely! any chance you know when they’re coming to the uk? :)

Haight reminds me of birds & berries from Liberty of London! and i must have Free Love & Psychadelic sister :D :D

  2. Katjuschka says:

The packaging reminds me a LOT of MAC :O

  3. DevilishDoll says:

Are these permanent? I really wanna get Woodstock, Free Love, Aquarius, Haight, and Dashiki. BTW, you should totally do a look with Free Love, Firecracker from MAC To The Beach and Psychadelic Sister. I think that would be soooo pretty.

    • Christine says:

They don’t say limited edition on Sephora, so I would imagine they would be permanent :)

    • Tabi says:

I did a look almost exactly like this last weekend, except I used X instead of Free Love and Flash instead of Psychadelic Sister. It was really pretty!

    • Alicia says:

They are actually not permanent they are just sephora exclusives they will be gone in October I believe who knows though if there is enough love they may relaunch them.

  4. Rachael says:

I adore these eyeshadows! I love UD anyway (the non glittery ones) I wonder how this will work in the UK as we dont have Sephora (boo :( ) wonder if they will just release it normally i do hope so i must have at least half of these

  5. Steph says:

Wow! I’m wondering if I could use Woodstock as blush… What do you think? (with light application, of course)

  6. Hi Christine!

How does Aquarius compare with MAC Parrot?

    Thanks

  7. Wendy M. says:

Oh, my… Dashiki and Haight look beautitul! :D

  8. Anitacska says:

Ooh these are so pretty! :) Haight looks a lot like Flipside, is it actually similar in real life?

  9. min says:

    o.m.g I am LOVING these..ALL of them!

  10. Roslyn says:

These are so beautiful. The blues look like the real gems.

  11. Emily says:

How to the blues/greens compare to the shadows coming out with To The Beach? Also, is Psychedelic Sister anything like Crash from UD? Thanks Christine! You rock!

    • Christine says:

Shimmermoss is more like UD’s Shattered, which is tealer than Haight. Psychedelic Sister is lighter than Crash, I believe. I don’t own Crash, though.

  12. AnGeLwInGz says:

Thanks for the swatches. I already have Haight, Dashiki, and Aquarius, which I purchased online without seeing them in person because I can always count on UD having beautiful blue shadows. I wanted to get Free Love but I wasn’t sure if it looked more like Jones (don’t like) or X (love). Your reviews were helpful and now I may get Woodstock and Psychadelic Sister as well!

    • Christine says:

I don’t have Jones, but it definitely reminded me of X or MAC Melon Pigment or Benefit’s Melons. Just not quite as a duochrome-y (which isn’t a bad thing)… overall, a little darker, more peachy.

  13. Nott says:

Thanks for the swatches. Do you know if the international Sephora are going to have these products too? Thanks a lot.

  14. These are awesome! Yesterday I took photos of mine UD single eyeshadows and will post my review tomorrow. Anyway, I LOVE them! The texture is great, the color payoff is even better! :D Worth every penny! :)

  15. Ashley says:

    Psychedelic Sister is gorgeous!

  16. Alexis says:

I bought Psychedelic Love and I’m going back this weekend to pick up Free Love and Haight. I smudged PL on my lower lash line when I did my own version of the “summer of love” look featured on the UD model. It looks great wet. Great color payoff and no fall out (then again it’s not a glittery shade.)

  17. Michou says:

I’m in love with Haight and P-Sister. Can’t wait to get my hands on them!

  18. Megan says:

    Those blues are gorgeous!

  19. Tina Marie says:

Oh my! Amazing colors!! You were right on twitter, eyeshadows photograph so well. Especially when you take them! I really love how all the blues look.

  20. Rica says:

Their packaging looks more like Tony Moly’s eye shadow singles too…

  21. HC says:

Is Haight or Daishiki a dupe for MAC parrot?

  22. Kaylabella says:

These are all so gorgeous! Hopefully they’ll all inhabit a palette in the near future!

  23. LNU says:

I don’t think I particularly want any, but I am excited they released new shades without glitter, which gives me hope in the future they will do the same!

  24. Tiffany says:

    those are insanity!

  25. Dini says:

I love them all, but the blues definitely caught my eye first.

  26. Shelby says:

I LOVE Aquarius, Haight, Dashiki! And Woodstock!

  27. Krista Dior says:

Great new selection of colors from UD! The pigment is amazing. Looking forward to trying these.

  28. Romina says:

how does Psychodelic Sister compare to Mac’s Fashion Groupie? i missed it and have been searching for a dupe ever since…

  29. DJ says:

LOVE Urban Decay shadows. I wish those colors came in a palette.

  30. -L says:

These are so gorgeous. They remind me of my favorite MAC collection, C-Shock. :)

  31. Carrie says:

I love Aquarius and Free Love. Woodstock and Psychadelic Sister are also pretty. Haight and Dashiki look nearly identical.

  32. nicola says:

    i think haight = parrot

  33. Carol says:

I’m loving Woodstock! I remember tweeting a while back about having a dream where Urban Decay brought out a bright pink eyeshadow, and they asked if I worked at Sephora, LOL.

  34. Jody says:

Oh, Woodstock, Freelove, and Aquarius, come to Mama!!!!

  35. aleksandra says:

oh wow these are absolutely gorgeous! Woodstock and Free Love are major lemmings!

  36. Kerry says:

i love woodstock but im not sure if it would work on me :/ definately would like free love and possibly one of the blues too.. maybe haight :)

  37. lauraaaaa says:

i see a mac parrot dupe

  38. Norma says:

Free love & Aquarius are lovely. =)

  39. Diva Style says:

These would look lovely in a palette!

  40. Solangel says:

Ok I NEED Psychedelic Sister :O And maybe Woodstock…

  41. StyleByEmma says:

    These are GORGEOUS!!!!!!

  42. Rachel says:

how similar is psychedelic sister to UD’s deluxe shadow, ransom? Thanks.

  43. Angie says:

These are awesome, I want 5 out of the 6 LOL!

  44. Zoe says:

i’m such a neutrals girl but i need Psychadelic Sister! and maybe free love :)

  45. Orange Fizz says:

Ha, I so love the names.
    Anyone feel that the names have a 70′s vibe to it or is it just me? D;

  46. Jula says:

    I love them all!

  47. dolce aria says:

Are these limited edition, or permanent, just exclusive to sephora? I need to figure out how to budget for these!

    Sooooo very pretty!

  48. Christy says:

I want aquarius because that’s my sign but it looks close to colors I already have, like ub flipside and Mac shimermoss, anyways they are all beautiful colors.

  49. Diana B says:

    wow those colors look amazing

  50. rose says:

    aquarius looks amazing!

  51. lkvy says:

I saw those last week: they’re all gorgeous.

  52. Beth says:

I have Free Love and Haight. I haven’t done a lot with Free Love yet, but I like Haight in my crease, with MAC Aquadisiac all over, and Pfloof! on the inner corner.
I think I will probably pick up Psychedelic Sister next time I’m in Sephora. Dashiki is pretty, but I think it is very close to UD’s deluxe shadow Peace, which I have in a palette.

  53. Jenny says:

Woodstock, Free Love and Aquarius are so pretty! I´ll try to buy them because they look really worth eyeshadows :)

  54. JillyB says:

Wow, I didn’t even know about these, thanks! I love UD eyeshadows so I’ll be looking for these. My first choices would be Free Love and Aquarius but I’ll probably end up with the rest too.

  55. resham says:

The texture of these makes me want them, but I don;t wear colored e/s often…I wish they launch amazing neutrals in these same finish….that wud be AWESOME!!!

  56. woodstocker says:

these are so much better and prettier than 90% of all MAC eyeshadows

  57. Sheri says:

can you depot these & fit them into a mac palette?

  58. Noelle says:

The next time I go to Sephora, I want to get FreeLove. Such a pretty shade for Summer! I will pair it with coral cheeks and bronzer everywhere!

  59. Salvinia says:

Wow! Pschycadelic Sister, Aquarius and Haight are gorgeous! I’ve never tried Urban Decay eyeshadow before, but maybe I should.

  60. Danielle Sharkey says:

I feel like Aquarius is very similar to UD Green Goddess e/s that I just realized today is no longer apart of the UD line at Sephora… Does anyone else see the similarity?

  61. Maria says:

more colors?! they’re so pretty! yikes! i already have a ton of their eyeshadows! i really like free love and aquarius.

  62. Rosanna says:

Would these already be in the Sephora stores?

How similar is UD Woodstock to MAC Lala eyeshadow???

  63. Amanda Kelly says:

How would you compare UD’s deluxe Sting shadow to Woodstock? A bit more pink, or still pretty similar?

  64. inkedpink says:

Gorgeous. I wonder how similar Aquarius is to Green Goddess

  65. samantha says:

Want Free Love but it’s out of stock online and there’s no Sephora here. :(

  66. diavolobello says:

Damn, they should make a palette with these because all of them are great. If you looked at the eye shadows I buy/use most and narrowed it down to 6 colors, they would look almost exactly like these.

  67. Sara says:

OOoo I’m liking “Free To Love”! Cute name too ;)

  68. Kristen says:

You know I’m crazy and own every urban decay color they sell and I was so upset because urban decay was coming out with the same old colors and throwing a new name on them…now they actually come out with new ones and Im broke!

  69. Nora says:

I might have to get Haight just for the name.

  70. rukia says:

Loving Haight and Dashiki. I’m in a blue phase right now.

  71. Riki says:

Oh momma I want them all =X

  72. Bridgette says:

Yay new eyeshadows! I hope I can see some of these shades in future Book of Shadows palettes. I really love all of the eyeshadows, Woodstock is my fave.

  73. Amy says:

I think my favorite of these that I don’t have a dupe of is Aquarius. That shade is soooo pretty and soooo foil-ey! Not a word, but describes it perfectly! :-D I really want that one.

  74. Fatema says:

How does “Free Love” compare with MAC “paradisco”?? are they similar?

  75. jess says:

these are bomb, I want all of em!

  76. Melly says:

I drove 30 miles to get free love eyeshadow because of this review and it was totally worth it! Hello coral eyes and bronze face makeup!

  77. argeleen says:

is there a mac dupe for Aquarius?

  78. RachelMarie says:

Is Free Love close enough to X that you don’t need both? Because I have X but want Free Love but don’t want to waste the money if I can help it haha

  79. Jackie says:

I have UD’s freakshow and flash, is it worth getting psy sister? how do they compare?

  80. Elysia says:

How does Dashiki compare to Painkiller? is it worth getting if I already have painkiller? I think it’s so pretty!

  81. hannah says:

    hey temptalia,

i was wondering if urban decay had an eyeshadow in a palette or single that was a dupe for MAC’s antiqued eyeshadow becuase i recently found out they tetsed on animals but i really love the colour! any suggestions?
