Urban Decay Sephora Exclusive Eyeshadows

Urban Decay Hits All the Right Notes with These Sexy Six!

There are six Urban Decay Eyeshadows ($17.00) newly released and Sephora exclusives. All six shades are richly pigmented, smooth to the touch, and easy to blend. They really represent why Urban Decay eyeshadows are so raved about. Not a single one is sheer, and none of these have gritty or glittery textures, so they’re just beautiful, seamless shades for the color lover.

  • Woodstock is a vibrant medium hot pink with subtle fuchsia shimmer. It has a low pearly sheen. It’s not frosty at all!
  • Free Love is a warmed-up peach melon with a golden peach sheen and slight frost finish. It’s like a darkened version of X.
  • Psychedelic Sister is a medium-dark purple with red undertones and an iridescent violet sheen-shimmer. It’s not as blue-based as Flash.
  • Aquarius is a pale aqua-teal with a silver-metallic sheen. This was the frostiest of the new six.
  • Haight is a slight teal-blue with a frost finish and silver sheen. It’s different than Dashiki, but it’s not super teal like Shattered.
  • Dashiki is a brightened medium sky blue with a soft pearled sheen.

My favorites were definitely Woodstock, Free Love, and Dashiki. I don’t have anything quite like Dashiki in my stash, so it’ll be a nice shade for the summer season.  If you’ve been thinking about these, they really are fantastic.  These are some of Urban Decay’s more impressive shades, just in terms of texture and pigmentation.

hey temptalia, i was wondering if urban decay had an eyeshadow in a palette or single that was a dupe for MAC's antiqued eyeshadow becuase i recently found out they tetsed on animals but i really love the colour! any suggestions?

Neither MAC nor Urban Decay test on animals.

oh no i meant i found out that MAC tests on animals i know urban decay does not. i Found out they tested from this website which i can't find at the moment. Anyway i was wondering if urban decay, too faced, smh, or stila had a dupe for MAcs antiqued eyeshadow. Please and Thank you :)

Hi Hannah, As stated, MAC Does not - it has long been their policy. Not that I am an advocate for PETA, but even PETA lists MAC as a company that does not test on animals. Please use the Swatch Gallery to find an appropriate dupe - http://www.temptalia.com/swatch-gallery

How does Dashiki compare to Painkiller? is it worth getting if I already have painkiller? I think it's so pretty!

Dashiki is a lot darker, bluer.

I have UD's freakshow and flash, is it worth getting psy sister? how do they compare?

I think you could skip, though they're not the same. I'd say Psychedelic Sister is lighter and more red-based.

Is Free Love close enough to X that you don't need both? Because I have X but want Free Love but don't want to waste the money if I can help it haha

Kind of... but yet not. It's a little more pigmented/darker. I don't know - if you don't wear X much, you could probably pass!

is there a mac dupe for Aquarius?

Maybe something like Surreal or Tilt.

I drove 30 miles to get free love eyeshadow because of this review and it was totally worth it! Hello coral eyes and bronze face makeup!

these are bomb, I want all of em!

How does "Free Love" compare with MAC "paradisco"?? are they similar?

Much, much lighter and peachier. It's more like Melon pigment.

I think my favorite of these that I don't have a dupe of is Aquarius. That shade is soooo pretty and soooo foil-ey! Not a word, but describes it perfectly! :-D I really want that one.

Yay new eyeshadows! I hope I can see some of these shades in future Book of Shadows palettes. I really love all of the eyeshadows, Woodstock is my fave.

Oh momma I want them all =X

Loving Haight and Dashiki. I'm in a blue phase right now.

I might have to get Haight just for the name.

You know I'm crazy and own every urban decay color they sell and I was so upset because urban decay was coming out with the same old colors and throwing a new name on them...now they actually come out with new ones and Im broke!

LOL! We got what we asked for, at least :P

OOoo I'm liking "Free To Love"! Cute name too ;)

Damn, they should make a palette with these because all of them are great. If you looked at the eye shadows I buy/use most and narrowed it down to 6 colors, they would look almost exactly like these.

Haha that's what I was thinking! I loooove my purples, teals/greens, blues and pinks!

Want Free Love but it's out of stock online and there's no Sephora here. :(

Gorgeous. I wonder how similar Aquarius is to Green Goddess

I don't have that one!

I have green goddess and Aquarius and they are really similar...just think if green goddess and shattered had a baby

Thank you! That is very helpful!

How would you compare UD's deluxe Sting shadow to Woodstock? A bit more pink, or still pretty similar?

Would these already be in the Sephora stores? How similar is UD Woodstock to MAC Lala eyeshadow???

Not sure, to be honest! Woodstock is a pinker - Lala is a tiny bit more fuchsia-purple.

more colors?! they're so pretty! yikes! i already have a ton of their eyeshadows! i really like free love and aquarius.

I feel like Aquarius is very similar to UD Green Goddess e/s that I just realized today is no longer apart of the UD line at Sephora... Does anyone else see the similarity?

Wow! Pschycadelic Sister, Aquarius and Haight are gorgeous! I've never tried Urban Decay eyeshadow before, but maybe I should.

The next time I go to Sephora, I want to get FreeLove. Such a pretty shade for Summer! I will pair it with coral cheeks and bronzer everywhere!

can you depot these & fit them into a mac palette?

these are so much better and prettier than 90% of all MAC eyeshadows

The texture of these makes me want them, but I don;t wear colored e/s often...I wish they launch amazing neutrals in these same finish....that wud be AWESOME!!!

Wow, I didn't even know about these, thanks! I love UD eyeshadows so I'll be looking for these. My first choices would be Free Love and Aquarius but I'll probably end up with the rest too.

Woodstock, Free Love and Aquarius are so pretty! I´ll try to buy them because they look really worth eyeshadows :)

I have Free Love and Haight. I haven't done a lot with Free Love yet, but I like Haight in my crease, with MAC Aquadisiac all over, and Pfloof! on the inner corner. I think I will probably pick up Psychedelic Sister next time I'm in Sephora. Dashiki is pretty, but I think it is very close to UD's deluxe shadow Peace, which I have in a palette.

I saw those last week: they're all gorgeous.

wow those colors look amazing
