The Spring Season: Guerlain Gabrielle Rouge G Lipstick

Guerlain Gabrielle (#60) Rouge G Lipstick ($45.00) is a pink nude with champage shimmer and a glossy sheen. It’s a creamy, moisturizing formula that clings to lips and lasts four to six hours on me. Gabrielle is probably on of the sheerest shades of Rouge G in the line-up, but it still gives good coverage (you can barely see the freckle on my bottom lip) while giving you that lightweight/sheerer look.

Is this the right nude lipstick for you? Would you wear it?

The Spring Season is a series of posts featuring my favorite soft beige, coral, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for the first blossom of spring — that runs through March 2010.

It's looks pretty on you, very natural color in your case ^^

This one is really pretty. It's so pricey. I have a few similar to it. I'm thinking Mac Festivity?

I don't remember Festivity at all!

Wow. Heavy price tag.... Will rather buy a cheaper one that looks similar, since this is not a colour that I would wear often. I won't get my money's worth.

I don't know if I would splurge on this one just b/c it seems like it'd swatch streakily or not opaque enough for my pigmented lips. Then again I should probably swatch before I assume. I'm still loving the Spring Season series :)

I love these Guerlain lippies..they're sooo pretty but they are sooo pricey =(

That looks really nice on you! But a little on the pricey side for me :( and also considering I'm gonna drop some major cash for MAC GMLOL.

Christine, this is so random but I am dying to know what makeup they use on American idol! I love Kara dio guardi's lip gloss!

I love this one!!! so soft and yet looks awesome!!! have to try it on to see if it's my color!!!

Another beautiful shade from Guerlain! too bad this formula is not moisturizing enough for my lips. I love Guerlain, but for 45.00 I shouldn't have to use lip balm before applying the color. When I was finally able to get my hands on Gems, I was sooo excited because the shade is perfect for my taste. Sadly, I won't be repurchasing or trying anymore colors. Thank you Christine! The color looks very pretty on you and I'm happy you love the Rouge G's!

Not moisturizing enough, really! That sucks :( Every time I put these on, my lips are like "oh, thank goodness for moisture!"

It's a pretty color. I *should* get it since it's my daughter's name :-)

wow I really like this one. Nice and light for spring. I may have to snag one of these us as soon as there is a good friends and family sale somewhere

I love this color! It is exactly what I am looking for -- a gorgeous golden pink color. So bummed it s $45. Hmmm, are there any less expensive dupes you can recommend (I have a hard time paying more than $24 for a lipstick). Would love any other suggestions like this color!

not for 45 DOllARS!! that's pricey Do you know what drugstore foundation looks good in pictures taken in daylight that is long lasting and is for combination/oily skin? is that unheard of? LOL as well as a highend alternative pls thanks

Hi Ash, Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse, Revlon Color Stay, Rimmel Lasting Finish For high-end, MAC Studio Fix Fluid, MUFE HD
