    My trick is an oldie.

First, I always start with long-wearing lipstick. Then:
    1. Line
    2. Apply lipstick
    3. Blot
    4. Dust VERY VERY lightly with translucent powder
    5. Apply lipstick again
    6. Blot again
    7. Light translucent powder again
    8. Apply lipstick again
    9. Blot
    10. Add lipgloss (optional)

It’s a LOT of reappling, but it really really seems to work! And, it doesn’t take very long, either–just a minute or so, despite all the reapplying.

I didn’t do anything extra, just normal lipstick plus lipgloss.

Face atelier makes a product called Lip lock, i got a sample for $1 from their website and have tried it a couple of times, it’s like lip shellac. :) it works so well – lasts forever! – i’m definitely going to invest in a bottle. it works best without lipgloss, if you just want to wear lipstick, so thats the only downfall.

I apply a little amount of foundation on my lips while doing my face. I just swipe the brush over lightly. I do all the rest of my makeup, and when I set with powder, a little lands on my lips. Lipliner, lipstick, lipgloss…I’m done. People ask me ALL the time how my lipstick stays on all night, even after eating.

Could someone tell what “blot” means?
sorry for my bad english :D

It’s no problem at all :) . “Blot” means to press a piece of tissue gently against your lips (without rubbing) to take off excess color/shine. I hope this makes sense!

It’s like when you take a tissue and pat it against your lips, you blot off some of the color onto the tissue paper!
