Quick Neutrals with Urban Decay’s Naked Palette
This is a really quick and dirty look I did a couple of weeks ago before an early 8 am class.
You will need the following…
- Eyes: NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base (neutral eyeshadow base), Urban Decay Sin Eyeshadow (pink champagne), Urban Decay Darkhorse Eyeshadow (gold-tinged brown), Urban Decay Virgin Eyeshadow (highlighter), Urban Decay Whiskey 24/7 Liner (red-toned brown), MAC Plushlash Mascara (black)
- Face: Make Up For Ever HD Foundation (140), Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder (translucent)
- Cheeks: Benefit Sugarbomb Blush (pinky peach)
- Lips: MAC Violetta Lipstick (fuchsia purple), MAC Revenge is Sweet Lipglass (sheer jelly pink)
- Brushes: 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 116 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Revenge is Sweet = Full For You
For eyes, start by applying Smudgeproof as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Sin eyeshadow on the lid. Next, apply Darkhorse eyeshadow into the crease with the 226, lightly blending onto the outer lid. Blend Virgin eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying Whiskey liner on the lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.
For cheeks, apply Sugarbomb blush on the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116.
For lips, apply Violetta lipstick first, and then layer Revenge is Sweet lipglass for a complementing lip.

nice lips christine.. and the last pic whr to look down is cool :) I have one more thing to tell you, i applied my nail polish in ur style kinda leaving the cuticles it looked better than the full nail thing.. last time you suggested me about the blush but i forgot which post was it, is there a way to search all my comments i left in you site other than the notify option below?

I did a very similar look today except I used Smog instead of Darkhorse, BE's So Fab for blush, and a random dark berry lip gloss. You know what they say about great minds and all?

I love how you accentuated the lips in this look. I've been using my Naked Palette more often and have been going with a bronzy shade for lips or more natural but you inspired me to bold up my lips today!

Very pretty look. Love the lips. I've been wanting to try the MUFE HD foundation. Do you find yourself liking it more now? I've noticed you use it in alot of your looks.

I was going to ask the same, Christine. I want to try the MUFE HD, too, but I want to ask for your opinion: My face is lighter than my neck. I always matched my foundation to my face to make it even, but now I learn that you should match it to your neck...? What do you think? Also, I love all these Naked Palette looks! I just tried that Gunmetal/Half-Baked last night, and it turned out gorgeous! Please do more. :)
Well, the idea is that you don't want to look like you're wearing foundation, so you don't want that "mask." It really depends on how different your face/neck are from each other; if it's not a major difference, just make sure to take the foundation past your jaw and under your jaw a bit so it blends out well.
