Ladies and gentlemen, something very special has been brewing behind-the-scenes at Temptalia, and it appears that we are heading, in person, to New York Fashion Week! Temptalia will be spending February 1st-4th in New York City milling about the tents at Bryant Park, hoping to glimpse at some celebrities, drool over designer clothes, and have some makeup breakdowns and tidbits to share with you all. So while I am busy gearing up (and trying to find winter clothes that will prevent me from turning into an ice cube…), share with me who your favorite designer is (clothes, jewelry, shoes, whatever!).

Check out Monique Lhuillier… she’s easily my favorite designer. Her dresses are amazing!

I would be so nervous – I don’t own anything worthy enough to be sitting in the tents! Anyway, good luck in NYC. From a fellow winter-ite (MN): stay warm, wear layers and a scarf is always useful to use as a shawl or looped around your neck. I’m huge on multitaskers! Take lots of pictures if you can!
LOL! I probably don’t either, but I can pretend, right? I’m going in pretty much all black so hopefully that dignifies me enough.

Marc Jacobs! He has done so much with whites and canvas, it’s unbelievable. And there’s always Miu Miu, you can’t go wrong there. Ana Sui has lovely things, and they’re all really edgy and cool.

I have been to fashion week, its insane. I wish you the best! I know it doesn’t sound very fun but I suggest going with stylish black…all black. You wont feel like such a fashion reject in your everyday clothes. Also wear good quality shoes that are comfy.

How exciting, Tanya! I was actually thinking of going mostly black (if not black, then gray, and most colorful would be a dark colored sweater!). I just got a pair of new shoes (I needed something with less heel, more business, and hopefully comfortable) that I intend to wear around the house until I fly out. Let’s hope I don’t wind up with blisters!
