is stark naked really peachy-pink like what some people say? or is it like a raspberry-pink like i hear other people say?
Christine

It’s a raspberry pink, IMO. It has gold-green shimmer, which gifts it some dimension.

I just got Enough Said and it looks amazing on! It can be used as a blush or to contour and brings nice definition to the cheek.

Nice! :) It really is a flattering color, especially on medium toned skin.

I actually went to MAC today to get Stark Naked but ended up picking up Enough Said instead because it was so pretty in person. Stark Naked is gorgeous too, but I felt like I already had enough pinky/raspberry blushes while Enough Said would be unique in my collection.

That makes sense :) I often think about what don’t I have or don’t have a lot of when I purchase new products.

Aren’t the BPB’s the stars of the collection? Gorgeous.

Christine, I was wondering, how similar, would you say, is Stark Naked to True Romantic bpb? what differences can you see between them?.. thanks in advance!
Christine

True Romantic is plummier, darker for me. The texture of Stark Naked can’t be beat; it’s a lot softer and silkier. The shimmer in Stark Naked is also a green-gold, almost a duochrome.

I’d also be interested in how similar or not Trace Gold is with Enough Said…
Christine

It’s not really that similar. It’s very gold-based (almost a dirty gold) and Enough Said is peachy-gold, IMO!

These are so tempting.
I’m going to have to go to the store and look at these and the msfs.
I can only afford either/or at the moment.
Which do you find more wearable?
Looking at Enough said, I love it but I think it may be too dark for me.
I’m pretty pale, but I’m drawn to warm blushes that don’t accentuate the redness of my cheeks too much. TIA!

Personally, I like blushes, just because MSFs tend to be shimmery and more like highlighters than products that give me color. Although, Petticoat and So Ceylon do have more pigmentation for me than the usual MSF.

I was about to buy Enough Said, but it looked kinda yellow on me :( At least Stark Naked was a colour that I could wear and looked rosy on my skin.

I wonder if Stark Naked BPB is similar AfterDusk (from Moonbathe)
Christine
Monday, October 20, 2008
Similar, but AfterDusk is plummier, and it doesn’t have the peach shimmer.

I really wish I got Afterdusk…. would stark naked compare to northern lights?
Christine
Friday, December 19, 2008
It’s darker, and it is more raspberry toned than Northern Lights (which is mostly pink!).

A lot of people say that Nars Sin blush is very similar. I am going to buy that when I run out of stark naked, HTH :)
