Damn! Not really sure how I feel when I loot at this model. She looks pretty dead with all the flowers around her and that cool/nude makeup *^.^* I like the collection though.
Bought Summer shower ( love it on it's own or layered over another lipstick) and Budding Beauty lipgelee. Both are beautiful. I bought another EverHip for my daughter as she doesn't want to run out when her EH from the Liberty of London Collection runs out. The 2 other lip gelees are very pretty, too. Nothing else in the collection was that interesting to me. Anxiously awaiting the Surfer collection coming out soon.

Good evening, I am truly bummed out by this collection and the Flight Collection and wanted to express my concerns and was interested in hearing other people's opinions. The color selection for the current, Fashion Flower Collection, for lack of a more intelligent word, sucked. The selection was strange and limited. Maybe the colors looks good on Asian skin tones like the not "Too Cute" collection which was another big dissapointment in my opinion. It had so much potential too! They could have knocked it out of the park with that theme. Here's the deal. I admit that I am a very fair skinned, blonde, white woman and those colors made me look like a circus clown. I put on the mint green lipstick and thought I was starring in my own little freak show. I mean mint green? Really MAC? MAC, please get your act together and at least make the packaging cute (like pink with flowers,or a cool design, etc). I don't know what is going on at MAC but they have had two lame collections launched since the amazing Wonder Woman collection. From what I have seen of the upcoming, Beach Babe, Summer 2011 collection, with the cheap, "Target", white packaging, I am worried I will be underwhelmed once again. If MAC is considering a new Creative Director, which they may want to think about, I would gladly step in and design some killer new collections (think Heatherette & Liberty of London type collections/packaging but cooler) and continue the MAC brand legacy. I would ensure that MAC will not lose their title of "Queen of all things Cool", make up brand. I am just worried that MAC Corporate, (Estee Lauder) are losing their edge and letting shit slip. Perhaps they are trying to appeal to a younger, Asian, market.. Who knows? I am hoping they will get back in the game coming this Fall 2011. Only time will tell! xoxo Summer
I disagree. Mac are releasing loads of different collections to appeal to different people. For example, I am very pale and loved the champale and quiet cute collections as they suited my skintone. The bronzed collection didn't suit me but I am sure looks fab on darker skinned ladies. Also I love the new formulas of the sheen supreme lipsticks and the pen highlighters but don't like blue eyeshadow and there skipped the jeanious collection. I am not mad on limited edition packaging so I skipped wonder woman but I know loads of other people loved it. If I had any criticisms it would be that the formula on limited products can be hit or miss some times but not often and also I would love to see more bright coloured fluidlines, paint pots and pigments!
I feel bad, totally owe you and everyone an apology regarding my comment above. It came far too harsh. The truth is, you are right, there are some good colors in the collections. I guess my real complaint is that my local MAC counter in Seattle, WA at Nordstrom is sold out of all the best colors/products within a day! I wish they would re-up their inventory and then I could sample/buy the few colors I do like, for instance, St. Germain lipstick, Alpha Girl, and Bows & Courtseys eye shadow. I swear ever color I ever really want is sold out. It bums me out. I do apologize though, I hope I did not offend MAC or anyone, I was just irritated because I never was able to locate the Marquis'd lipstick or the Pink Powder Bronzer from the Wonder Woman collection and I spend hours searching everywhere and Online. The Beach Babe collection will be cool, I was just not to jazzed about the packaging. (I am one of those people who are into special edition packaging for some reason.) Cheers, Summer Seattle, WA
Ah I know what you mean. I got the last quad from quiet cute in the shop I was in and that was on the day it launched! They should defo be given alot more stock when it launches. I will prob be skipping the next few collections and saving up for the semi precious launch. Any photos I have seen so far are amazing! And I forgot to mention in my last post that prob the best collection to date this year has been Peacocky! Such cool colours and formula!

I'm definitely getting my hands on Aqua and Groundcover eyeshadows, and I can't decide between Fashion Flower and Budding Beauty Lip Gelees... Heaven knows I'll end up getting both!
I was sad that Ever Hip was already sold out online. I have it on hold for when it launches at my local counter. The only other thing I got was the groundcover eyeshadow. The summer shower lipstick looks interesting in the tube but I don't like it on the lips :(

Unfreakingbelievable. I've gone by the date listed on here (April 28) as the official launch date for this. I literally just got an email promoting the collection an hour ago, logged onto the website, and Ever Hip (the only thing I wanted) is already gone! I mean, what's the point if things are going to disappear that quickly? It's as if their biggest goal is to get their dedicated customers to go on a big rat race just to get the things they want. I'm so turned off by this. It's ridiculous.
April 28th is in-store launch date, and online typically launches 1-3 days prior but they don't give out an exact time/date for that!
Yeaaah, I think that's what got me so heated. They never give an exact time for online launches so those of us who are sleeping or at work miss out. I called my local Macy's counter and was told they were only given 5 Ever Hip lipsticks! Craziness! The manager was nice enough to tell me to call back tomorrow morning and have them hold on to one for me until I can get there after work. The things we go through in the name of makeup. Eeesh!
MAC this is so not fair! How can you launch a collection 3 months ahead of the international launch date? By the time they get to us, it will be old news, and I'm so not paying for shipping.

Wow! The photo shoot looks so classy and vintage..Cant say anything right now abt the collection as it appears be for cooler skin tones which I am not. But overall loving the whole presentation very much!

i am so excited for this collection, sadly i don't get my allowance till may 15th, so i'm just praying to god this won't be as popular and i can get my hands on groundcover e/s, & budding beauty lip gelee!! hopefully i will get lucky and there will still be in stock on the website or in store!
We should all go on a MAC strike...or at least I will!! Ever Hip, Alpha girl, Free to Be...do they all sound familiar? C'mon MAC! I despise re-promotes except Feline eye kohl. Putting an imprinted flower on top doesn't make it any different.
I am really interested in the beauty powders and maybe the lipstick Mlle. Ever Hip is already mine and I love it! The other two colours are not my colors I think :).
