Got a bunch of stuff already. The MAC Pro store in Montreal (Canada) released the collection last week. Found out yesterday and went after work. The collection is great; lots of wearable colors. Got : the eye shadow quads, several lip glosses and lipsticks. Wishlist : liquid eyeliners. The're permanent so I decided to splurge on the rest. P.S. Christine, I love the site. Keep up the great work.
There is one thing I would like to know. You say that the Superslick Liquid Eyeliner are Permanent. Is it really, because I can't see them on their website. Or will they become permanent following this collection? Really confused here

This is an amazingly beautiful collection! Everything you want for fall and Winter; aubergines, greys, browns, golds, and I'm really happy to see green so big this year! I'm also surprised at some of the reactions I'm reading. Just because it has a cat name doesn't mean it fits into this grouping; especially all this about Feline pencil! They're focusing on a different color concept girlies, and in a new product to boot. I think waterproof smoky purple liner with a felt tip sounds perfect for this season. Remember Isabella Rosselini? She had a whole career in make up based on red wines, grays, aubergines... Defined an era and made Lancome. It's a good look. At least to some of us who have academic/ corporate/ political/ jobs. And we have money and we want make up! Very, very sophisticated color concept, and so exciting after one teeny group after another for how long? Possibly MACs best work since HK gave a challenge too many people couldn't rise to. I also notice mention of top-of-the-heap career women in the commentary. About time MAC remembered us! And all of us who work in offices and need a lovely but understated face. All the Jerseylicious glitter and neon doesn't work in a power environment. Hell, if the mail boy wore what I've seen lately at MAC he's be spoken to firmly.
Ooooooh. I love kitty cats!!!! Can't wait until next week for this to be out. I want everything!!!! I wish they would have it out a little earlier like they do w/most of their collections. The lipsticks are to die for and those liquid eyeliners...awesome!
Christine, Question - are the superslick eyeliners REALLY permanent? That just seems way too good to be true!

I was surprised they didn't do more with the packaging. Considering its all about animal prints for Fall trends, I was hoping to see some cool packaging...sigh. Oh, and I am disappointed they did not repromote FELINE e/l. That was my favorite black kohl e/l from MAC.

I'm looking forward to this collection coming out but I was wondering what items do you think would go well with my tan hawaiian complexion. I'm an NC44.
It will be extremely difficult, but I think I'm going to pass on this collection. I have to save every penny I can for Rodarte and Venomous Villians.

I know this question is addressed to Christine, but from the swatches I've seen on Specktra, the color looks really similar to Too Faced eyeshadow in "Labor Whore".
why must mac continually put out such massive collections, there's so many products it's overwhelming and sorta makes me want to skip going through all the info to see what might work for me, too much work!

Holy swizzle MAC! What a HUGE collection! And I LOVE CATS!!!! I want everything. I am curious whether this will be out before the 26th of August? My first time on this site and I am really enjoying it and seeing all the great stuff coming out.
It should launch in-stores on the 26th. Online, around the 24th. There may be a few stores doing preview/unveiling parties (1-2 weeks in advance, check with your local store), but I imagine a lot of stores will be holding out to do an event for Venomous Villains (in September) instead.
Is there going to be a pre-launch party for this or the Venomous Villians collection as they did for To The Beach?

Oh my O_O!! I think I just fell out of my chair. Mac is going to start coming out with payment books I'm certain of it! Those liquid liners look awesome! I think I'm going to have to get them all! I'm loving the eyeshadow quads and some of those lipsticks too. Oh dear. Time to take the hammer to the piggy bank again.
