After years of being just a mere rumor, WWD has confirmed that MAC and Disney will collaborate and launch Venomous Villains. It will launch in September globally at all MAC locations.

MAC Cosmetics is teaming up with Disney to create a limited edition color collection, intended to launch globally in late September in all MAC locations. The products will feature four Disney characters, on which the brand is keeping mum at the moment — although with a collection name of Venomous Villains, it is assumed that we’re not talking Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse here. Lipstick, powder, lip gloss and blush shades will be sold, ranging in price from $12 to $29.50.

I’m also glad the rumor has been confirmed. I am alittle disapionted that they won’t be coming out with any eyeshadows for this collection. I deff. think that I will be getting some of the blushes. This is deff. a collection I will be saving my money for!

I reckon it’s going to be bright red, black and white (Cruella’s lips and the red apple from Snow White),purple (Ursula) and maybe green (Maleficent?). Then again it could be all clashing colours, like the Cinderella’s ugly stepsisters lol.
This is great! I just got back from Disneyland! I would love to see purples for Ursula and Maleficent and reds for the Queen from Snow White.

The Queen of Hearts from Alice and Wonderland would be a great villian. Also, the Ice Queen from the Narnia movies (disney owned) would be great!! I just hope that the collections isn’t *all* dark colors, as they don’t go well with my complexion!

I would not be surpised if later on they say it will be a two part collection and have Disney princesses. I don’t know though I too love malificent but I don’t think there are too many glamorous villians jmo I want Disney princesses!!!
These seem to be the “most popuular” villains….Maleficent, Queen of Hearts, ursula, and the Evil Queen. If males were involved, I would probably say that Jafar or Hade would be in it. I’m just thinking of the colors. Most of the villains in disney have purple involved as their colors. Ursula, maleficent, frollo, ratcliff, and evil queen are all purple and black. If all the villains were from this group all the colors would be purple and black. I don’t see MAC doing only those colors, ya right. So, Hade with some teal, and Jafar, Cruella, queen of hearts with some red, black and white, or scar and gaston with some brown and orange….the possibilities are endless. I know they’ll mix it up good for the color collection and variety.
I’m thinking Cruella DeVille kinda vampy shades. I’m super stoked and am already gonna set aside and start saving up for it:)
that’s one thing i’ve learned with all the MAC collections that come out. I figure out what I want ahead of time, then when it launches, I know how much i’m going to spend. although i still end up going broke lol!!!

One of my favourite Disney villains (if not my absolute favourite) is Frollo from the Hunchback of the Notre Dame, but I don’t have high hopes of him being part of the collection, seeing as there are much more ‘inspirational’ villains.

The Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has to be represented, she was the first Disney movie villian ever!!
OMG!!!! I am so excited, this collection is my calling!! I have been such a disney obsessed freak for my entire life!! (yup even as a tiny little kid) i cannot wait for this to come out.
Instantly i think of Maleficent from sleeping beauty as being part of this collection, with some purple shades of course. Or ursula from the little mermaid, but not both they would be the saem sorta colours…

I guess this one is going to be the new Style Black for 2010. Sounds amazing to me. Not sure about the others, but I’m pretty certain that Malificent and Cruella will be involved.
The only thing that doesn’t make me happy about this is that it’s going to follow really quickly on the heels of Fabulous Felines, which I’m already jonesing for…
I can’t wait for this collection. I’m hoping MAC puts a lot of darker color lip colors the way the villains in Disney have. I hope it’s like a sultry look, very sexy for fall. But who knows? I hope they come out with palettes!
