We have an update on the Originals collection! Many of the items are more like improvements of existing or old shades that are consumer favorites, but perhaps not MAC addict favorites, but who else is tired of Kitschmas coming out? Many of the products featured in this collection will be reformulated to be better than their original counterparts, hence why some of the names aren’t dead ringers for older colors.

I don’t want to doubt Juneplum’s information… but these things came to mind for me:
- the list is big… this would mean that the collection is almost larger than a Nordstrom Novel Twist for example.
- it makes me wonder if this isn’t a best of list that forum users brought together???
- if we sound dissappointed at the list.. I’m just wondering if any MAC manager would read this, take note of it and change the list
- knowing MAC and how they like to make a big thing of things.. I would have expected a huge internet poll. Can you see us Mac Fans rallying up support for our favorite products!!!! I can see the voting frenzy now
- anyone want to join my study group so we can figure out what product comes from what collection. I’ll sponsor the coffee and the doughnuts
- one last things… what strikes me is that we don’t yet know any details about collections like Antiquitease (no color names or descriptions) and yet we would know the exact list of everything from the Originals collection.
- if you ask me, MAC is better at innovating than at repromoting.
Hey Bart! You bring up a lot of good points, BUT it was confirmed by no less than three MAC MAs
A lot of details about upcoming collections are just leaked by makeup artists at the retail level, so there’s no real control over what they tell the public and what they don’t.
*sob* ur right Christine, this list is devastating… no Haze e/s nothing I really wanted them to repromote some MSFs…so i could buy some backups… oh well :/
It’s not for us MAC addicts, that’s for sure! Maybe a MSF collection is coming as a surprise – there’s at least one collection that hasn’t been named yet (no, I don’t know it, lol!).

I am so sick of Kitschmas it’s ridiculous… seriously if they’re going to repromote, they should actually repromote things everyone loves….

Me too!! Let me tell ya… lol. It’s up there with Showstopper — but I don’t even like Kitschmas at ALL.
When is this collection set to come out? I’ve been wanting parrot since I learned about Mac so I want to be sure to get one before they sell out.
