What will the texture of the eyeshadows be like? I keep thinking they will be like the brow finishers.

They’re kind of chalky for the most part :(

Hey, lookie there. They have found a use for all those palettes that their Brow stuff is in, now that those are on the goodbye list.

These are purty too. And out just in time for the master class that I’m going to on Saturday. Looks like I won’t have any trouble spending the money it took to reserve the class spot.

I’m glad these duos are $16…that’s not bad for 2 shadows. I hope the color payoff is good and that they are worth the $$.

The shadows don’t excite me at all. I’ll never reach for duos to do my eyes…but the liners on the other hand – gimme all of them!!

I checked these out at MAC Pro (it was too busy to swatch) and man, am I super unimpressed. Almost all the colours are dupeable and flat. The pearlglide liners do not even hold a candle to MUFE Aqua eyes, or UDs liners, they have chunk glitter!

Originally, I wasn’t going to go for any of the shadows, but the lady at Nordstrom showed them to me, and OMG, they have WAY more sparkle in them than any swatch shows! They’re soooo much better in person! I fell in love with Team Violets, and I knew I was going to have to get Wolf liner. If anyone wants to see, I took pics of them on me Here and here!

Hmm…for once in a long time I don’t want anything from a MAC collection. LOL. I guess that’s good for my pocketbook. I’ll be passing on this launch

I’ll pass on the duos e/s. The colors are wayyy too flat! No pigmentation at all! It looks to me like the cheap drugstore colors. On the other hand, the liners!!! o-) OMG! I already have Rave (and Feline, Orpheus, Mystery all with lots of glitter) so methinks that I’m gonna HAVE TO HAVE all the other liners… Plus, my excuse is that I don’t have liners other than blue (many of different ones)and black, so REALLY I DO NEED grey, green, brown and the likes!

I agree! They’re a bit flat for my liking.

I was at a MAC Pro store this weekend and one of the sales associates told me that the Pearlglide Liners are safe for the waterline. She said the regular glittery eyeliners that usually come out during the holiday season are not safe for the waterline but the formula in the Pearlglide is safe.

Interesting! I have heard both, so I don’t know what to believe. A lot of times a brand doesn’t bother to test for waterline safety when they know it probably will fail or they aren’t designing it as such.
