I haven’t seen anything in person yet, so I can’t tell you yet! I don’t think Charged Waters are needed, though.
After looking at the promo pics, I’ve managed to narrow down my wishlist to Soft Ochre paint pot, but I’ll have to wait and see it in store before I decide on purchasing it. Somehow I have a feeling that’ll be the most popular paint pot of the three.

My fav Ma showed me A Mei last week. Wasn’t really interested in anything. The packaging is pretty but I find that the packaging for the lipsticks are plastic-ky and looks flimsy.
I can’t wait for N to reach Malaysia though.
The palettes were really passable, IMO! The lipglasses were the only interesting part (since the lipsticks are permanent), so we’ll see how those go.
Everything is nice… but it’s a little too neutral for me. I’m very into bright colors and dramatic looks. I think I will hit up MAC on Friday when I get paid and look at the Soft Ochre paint pot and the Mineralize Skin Finishes. I still have one from a few years ago and I love it.
In case anyone is wondering, I asked a MA about the colors in the A Mei compacts. The Bold Eyes compact is Venus, Freshwater and Carbon. The Neutral Eyes compact is Vanilla, Mulch, and Brown Down.

I’ll have to wait and play with the colours before I actually make any decisions on this palette. From the description you give above…this surely doesn’t sound like the type of colour collection that will suit everyone!

As for the A Mei collection, I’m really not enthused. The colors are boring to me, and the packaging really turns me off. Poo.
