Toshikazyu Iwaya fans fashion flames. A stylist who works with all the paradoxes implied in his label’s name, he’s celebrated throughout Japan for combining bold patterns, disco-trash metallics, and renegade ideas with immaculate couture-class styling. In this namesake limited edition collection, MAC invokes the independent vision of Iwaya’s creations. Featured elements include a face palette with three eye shadows and three lipsticks. Beautiful packaging, but I’m not sure about those colors. Don’t like the idea that I can’t try before I buy.
It’s cute, and I like it when MAC changes up packaging and does it in a good way (e.g. not stickers–don’t think MAC will ever live that one down). But I agree, hate buying sight unseen. I did that with A-Mei, and I was disappointed!
i love that pink! i’m such a sucker for hot pink! if you happen to do swatches, you should compare the l/s to girl about town for me please! lol

prob won’t buy the palette although the blusher looks really gorgeous. the l/gs look similar to the ah mei collection huh?

Hey WP! Unfortunately, it is only releasing at VERY select locations, which are SoHo & SF for the US, but it WILL be on the US website, so you can snag it that way, too.

i am so getting the l/s and l/g. i think i heard it will be available online only but i forgot when, i think apr 17. i would love to get the palette but the colors look like they could be easily duped.

That pink in the palette is really bright. I wonder if its that bright on your skin. The glosses look really nice, something I’ll be checking out.
Considering the MAC products they’ve put out lately, I’d say it’s going to be relatively pigmented/bright.
dress camp x4 looks nice. but i don’t find myself picking up my face palettes often enough. but it looks like a nice spring/summer pallette. maybe i’ll pick it up just to have a variety. i picked up the more recent one that came out as a macy’s exclusive (an’t think of the name right now – authentics?) and that has more fall colors. so it would be a nice alternative. hopefully i catch it online and its still available.
I’m not a huge pre-made palette person, just because I always forget about them after the newness wears off!

it looks more gold than i thought,,cos from early swatches n promote pic,,it looked so yellow!
the lipstick is very bright pink..i actually saw very fine golden pearlized/glitter in it. Thats so awesome for me

I find Fashion to be way frostier than Pink Poodle. It’s my perfect ‘hot pink’ color but I won’t die when I run out. Fortunately I have a short attention span so I will just collect more LE lipglasses and be just fine!
I forget which dupe I found Fashion to be most like (non-perm), but yeah, it has more shimmer/frost than Pink Poodle (which is more like a solid, low shimmer gloss).
