While this collection might seem cool or cute for many of you the collection and color choice seem a bit juvenile for my “late-20 year-old-taste”.
Nevertheless, I am sure that I will purchase a beauty powder and few lipsticks. Rest of the collection look the same or similar as many previous ones that MAC has come up with.
Basically you will be paying for the packaging just as Barbie, Fafi, etc. I would definitely not bother buying way over priced bags and other HK junks that are probably mass produced just as regular HK items. Don’t be fooled by “must own” or “limited edition” At the end your wallet is going to suffer.
As we all know about the down hill of economy in these days I strongly suggest that you triple consider before impulse buying these just to add to your closet full of makeup that you already own.

Hmm….I have a palette that’s not listed…it has no name on it as far as what colors it includes, but it has the design, came with a MAC box and looks all legit.
The colors are: a dark violet, a lovely dark teal/blue, a cream, brown, and black
So it seems like a mix? I don’t know. Anyone know the name of these colors??

Sadly, I got it off ebay, I only recently found out about the collection. (I’m quite behind the times…) But as I said it *looks* authentic, and even if it’s not the colors are awesome. I just wanted to look at some tutorials to see how people have used them.

Unfortunately, there is alot of fake Hello Kitty stuff on Ebay. If it came from China I would suggest investing in a lead test kit. Alot of the makeup from China is full of lead and that is something you do not want to put around your eyes. You can get the kit at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or your local hardware store. Whatever you do… don’t buy the HK mascara and eyeliner set!! It is fake for sure!!
