Cremesheen

Speak softly, say something shocking! Cremesheen gives weight to your words, lightness to your lips! Application glides. Texture talks for you. Finish has the last word. But be warned – exotic sensation at the slightest titillation! A new vocabulary for lips, colour, shine. A next-generation, crème-based lipstick that imprints bright, full colour with soft and supple shine. Lightweight, texturally slick, it provides full, rich coverage and easy application.

I can personally attest to how awesome these are! I think they may be my new fave formula! They have nice coverage like an amplified creme, but not nearly as thick or drying. They FEEL like a glaze! So awesome! And they last and last! I have to go get more! I swatched the one I have, Fanfare: Here and here!

I think there’s a couple of mistakes here because these lipsticks are permanent colors. It’s a totally new finish and isn’t labeled as limited edition online. Also, it should be available at all stores not just North America locations.

i don’t see where the entry says that they aren’t permanent, though the nail polish is LE. and i think normally when mac releases new products, they come out in north america and then later on they come out in other locations. i think she means it’s available on the 25th specifically in NA not that it will only ever be in NA. HTH.

The release listed them as LE, but you are right that they’re permanent. The release date is for North America – yes, it will be out elsewhere.

One of the MAC MA that I know showed me some of those lipsticks about 2 weeks ago and she said that they are not at all what they expected them to be!  Mainly, they are not as pigmented and amplified as they thought that they would be. And, after trying them (and the darker colors at that: Brave Red, Dare You, Party Line, and Hang Up), I have to admit that they are very sheer and not that interesting to me ;-(
I already have soooo many lipsticks, plus those are going to be perm, so I don’t have to rush if I want them. I’ll be spending on Manuel Ungaro, some Suite Array, maybe some Metal Urge (don’t know yet…)
