November 4th for North America, November for international.
Is this limited edition?
All items have their status indicated item by item, but the majority are limited edition.
When will you have swatches?
Since I typically can't do swatches until I'm able to purchase the collection, not until closer to the date. If I'm able to do anything earlier, you will see it posted at that time.
What do you recommend?
I do not make recommendations without having tried the actual product.
Im confused I've been looking online and at my mac counter where are the mini lip gloss sets??

Hey Christine... I have been calling a couple of MAC stores and they say its coming out on the 11th... and moreover its not even up on MAC website.... so sigh sigh sigh.... waiting till 11th! and im gonna do a pre-order!
You said the lip sets are launched today, in the US. There not anywhere to be found :( No MAC website, no Macys, no Dillards. (sigh)
Which lip sets? The lip bags and the lip kit palettes are all available online...
I think they meant the lip sets with the 5 mini lipglosses...I thought they were due to be released on the 4th, and they are still not online...?
the lip glosses. and the pigments. they're not online and i need two of the corals one for my friend and one for my mom. THeyre christmas and Hanukkah gifts.

I don't know if this will be seen, because it is an old post, but I'll try anyway. Does anyone know when these sets will come online? I spoke with MAC live chat, and they said that they don't have a "confirmed" date. That's sort of what they always say though..
My MAC counter said November 11th for this stuff... and I've seen girls say that... but I've also read Nov 4th.. hmm. Confused now haha.
I just bought the lipgloss sets today. I had prepurchased them at the MAC store near me and they received them this week. From what the MUA told me, they are receiving very small quantities compared to last year (12 of each instead of approx.60); 3/4 have already been sold through prepurchases. So if you want them, act fast. The colors are great !!!
Oh no! You mean I JUST ordered a bunch of the Chapter 1 collection and now these (Chapter 2) are coming out in a week or so? Well, I'm going to have to get the cool pigment set, I have no choice! Thanks for all the great pics & swatches so far, and I'm looking forward to those from Chapter 2.
Christine, I wanted to thank you for posting the pics. My MAC store did not have them on site but we could prepurchase them. Thanks to the pics, I chose the ones that I wanted and had them put aside so I won't have to run around after them.

Oh no, why would they start putting new LE pigments in the pigment sets? :O I can't justify buying a pigment set with 4 perm shades and 1 new but I love pigments so much and usually want every single one, haha ;)
if you buy the thrillseeker pigments is it 38.50 for all four or is that price for just one

I just talked to live chat in mac cosmetics website and they said november 11 also. i called nordstrom and a standalong mac store and november 11 too =( good thing i called. i was almost going to take a day off tomorrow LOL

Hi Christine! From your experience, how quickly would you say these holiday collections sell out? Is it like the highly anticipated collections, where we have to pre-order everything? Or are these better stocked?
They don't seem to sell out instantly, though some items sell out at some point, so the stock seems to be higher, at least in the past.
...dang...!! I don't need more MAC pigments. I really don't. Really. Really!!! (Oh, who am I kidding. I'll probably get all three pigment-sets.)
