Holiday Reds: Le Metier de Beaute Framboise Creme

Le Metier de Beaute Framboise Creme Lip Creme ($36.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a brilliant shade of radiant ruby red with glimmering white, ruby, and pale gold shimmer. I love this Lip Creme not only for its scarlet hue but for the intense pigmentation in just one swipe. This gloss is absolutely pigmented–even pigmented lips would see much truer-to-color results than the norm.

This is the third time I’ve put the spotlight on Framboise Creme–it continues to be one of my favorite reds and go-to shades for the holidays. The rich formula, high gloss shine, and moisturizing feel always make it a pleasure to wear.

Product & Review FAQ

Where can I purchase Framboise Creme? How much is it?

Nordstrom, $36.

Is it limited edition?

No.

Any dupes?

Guerlain Giovanna comes close. It's hard to dupe with a single product, because it has the intensity of a red lipstick but the shimmer and glossiness of a lip gloss.

I purchased papaya cream based on the pictures I saw in one of your previous posts. While I LOVE the color/texture/staying power of the gloss, it has this odd scent during application that lingers a while after. I'm thankful i'm not that sensitive to scents otherwise it's $36 down the drain

this is the perfect strawberry red! so dead on, I'll definitely treat myself to this :)

This is a beautiful color and normally I would discount a $36 lip product, but after seeing it on...I think it might be worth the high price tag. It's just gorgeous!

oh my... this looks super sexy... like it as much as red dragon!!!

These glosses are really nice! I want to buy more :)

Go to Walgreens, I think the brand is Jordana, they have a very similar red lipgloss for $1.99. It isn't bad quality either, not sticky at all. I bought it tonight after seeing this today. It is beautiful and a steal!

just beautiful. suits you perfectly Christine.

That is SUCH a pretty red! Not too cool and not too warm. Sigh. Want it crave it!

Looking at the tube, I was worried it would be sheer, but WOW. That is absolutely gorgeous!

i really want this! but not available in Ireland! i looked back through your scarlet season photos and loved this. Its actually really hard to find a ruby colour, i went searching afterwards. Bobbi brown have a jewel red but its not ruby and doesn't have the the same 'ruby slippers' look that i want

Selfridges in the UK has it (no clue if they will ship to Ireland)!

i'll have to snaffle someone thats going on holidays there!!! or maybe a shopping trip is in order!

looks like a chanel extreme glosimer....beautiful

Love the lip colour, but I love the eye makeup even more! What do you have on, Christine?

Chantecaille's Les Bijoux Palette & Urban Decay Covet

Wow! That red colour look SO GOOD on you!!! You really rock it! :D

Though that is a beautiful red (one available where I'm from though!) I wanted to comment on your eyes! What is that teal or is it green shade? It is beautiful!

Chantecaille's Les Bijoux Palette & Urban Decay Covet!

looks perfect voor christmas!

Do you know if I can get this in the UK, Christine?

I think the brand JUST started to expand and may be available at one of the UK chains.. You might be able to check out their locations at their website :)

Oh wow, that really is pretty... It reminds me of Christmas just looking at it. Ahhh, lemming coming on!

That color really looks awesome on you!

Christine, that looks STUNNING on you!

I'm loving it, but leaving it (because of the price mainly).

Does this formula come in non-shimmery shades? I don't like shimmer on my lips.

I think they all have some shimmer, but they may not all be this frosty.

This lip creme is so pretty. Does anyone happen to know if it is sold in Europe too? I've never heard of this brand..

I think they are available in the UK now, but you should check out their website for locations! :)

It's available at Selfridges.

Omg i love it its gawjus x

Amazing red indeed!Love it!

...unfortunally I have to pay too much for the shipment on nordstorm (40 euro) :(

Does it have staying power?

Lasts four to six hours on me :)
