Lancome O My Rose!: Pop’n Cheeks Blush
Lancome Pop’n Cheeks Blush ($35.00) is a softly shimmered coral-orange blush, new and limited edition from Lancome’s O My Rose! Collection. The blush itself has a geometric rose design, and though there look to be a few shimmery pieces, it’s mostly just an overspray. Once you use it a few times, the glittery gold will disappear and a finer, more subtle shimmer is leftover.
It’s a fun shade for both spring and summer, which makes it a nice double-duty color. Hey, when cosmetic companies put out spring collections in January and the official start of spring isn’t until March 20th… colors that can be worn in both spring and summer are always nice pieces to add to your collection. I’m also totally partial to coral shades being a coral fanatic myself, so there’s no doubt I was going to enjoy this version released by Lancome!

That pattern is gorgeous but not as gorgeous as Marine Life highlight powder from MAC's To The Beach Collection.
Hey Christine, I'm on a tight budget, so between this and the MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre, which would you pick? (I know this is more expensive, but I work at a pharmacy that sells Lancome, so my discount makes this slightly cheaper than MAC). TIA!
Pretty. I bought the lipstick "Groupie" because it said that was the color on the model in the picture, plus a lipgloss...Anyhow the lipstick looks nothing like the pic in person. It is nice, but not really my color.
I hope they have it at Macy's or Lord & Taylor. I've never purchased Lancome before but I need to have it.
Very pretty! Is it anything like the blush color that came out in the Dior Spring line that was pink and coral? From the pic it kind of does to me. Stupid overspray...
I don't understand this whole collection fron Lancome - it's called 'O my Rose', but all I see are teals and corals. What's up with that?
i think the 'rose' part of the collection name may just be a reference to lancome's signature rose emblem..
I just checked again and it says the item is unavailable. Is it sold out already? Or has it just not been released yet?
Just talked to someone on the Nordstrom live chat. They confirmed that it's already sold out. Any ideas on where else it might be available?
unrelated to the blush itself but how is the quality of the included blush brush? i always hate it when cosmetic companies make a great product but then just throw in a slipshod brush with it :( thanks for the lovely swatch by the way~!
The blush is probably the one and only item from this collection I really like. I played with it at the counter and really like it, though I am not really a blush person, well, beginning to play with blushes more. The color is very subtle but at least, it's pigmented enough to show on my cheeks.
i was looking at this beautiful blush a few times. i really would love if the glitter is not just an overspray. it's the same with the cotton flower palette from clarins. it has a glitter overspray too. unfortunately i bought it, without knowing this, i was a little disappointed. but the colors are relly nice, im totally craving on such coral and pink colors at the moment.
