Illamasqua Belladonna Intense Lipgloss ($20.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is described as a “vibrant magenta.” It’s a vibrant, medium-dark fuchsia pink with a creamy finish and glossy shine. It has full color coverage and goes on evenly with little fuss. MAC Full Speed Ahead is similar in color, slightly brighter and bluer-based.
Illamasqua’s Intense Lipgloss formula is one of my favorites, especially when you’re hunting for an opaque gloss. It delivers shine but full color coverage without feathering or bleeding. I typically get really good wear, too; when I sported Belladonna on its own, it wore for a full six hours and lasted until eight hours where I felt I needed to reapply. The glossiness fades quicker (mostly gone by the third hour), but the color lingers for much longer. It’s non-sticky, too, and I couldn’t detect any scent or taste.

Christine! I just wanted to say thank you for doing this review! I just bought this recently after reading this review, and this lipgloss turned out to be everything I wanted OCC's liptars to me. The color coverage is amazing and doesn't make my lips look dry at all! I can't wait to try more of these.

Ohhh very pretty, but this looks exactly like the Kat Von D painted love lipgloss in Lolita. So I might steer away from this one, but I like the packaging of these though so maybe i'll be picking it up in the end haha

Hey Christine - when you apply illamasqua's intense glosses, do you use the slant tip applicator or a lip brush? Which works best in your experience? Thanks :)
I've done both, and I actually prefer the slant tip!

Hi Christine! Normally, I would never wear lipgloss bec I can't stand how sticky they are, LOL... but I guess, you can never say never. I love the color of this one and with you rating this with an A, how will I be able to say No? ;-)

It reminds me of my Lip Tars. ^_^ But the gloss finish fades after 1 hour as well.
