Estee Lauder Wild Violet Collection: Wild Blossom

Estee Lauder Wild Blossom Pure Color Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a light-medium pink-beige with soft, pale gold micro-shimmer hidden within a creamy finish. It’s opaque on my lips, and the lightness of the color does make it seem creamier than other shades from this launch.

my thoughts on the formula: The coverage is excellent, and it feels lightweight despite its pigmentation. It’s also more moisturizing than your average lipstick, which makes it comfortable to wear. I get about five hours of wear with this shade in particular, because it is more pigmented. Estee Lauder’s lipsticks are scented with a lightly sweetened fig but are taste-free to me.

  1. Aaah! Beautiful! I must get this! Looks lovely on you, too!

  2. Sexy Sadie

    It looks like Gosh Darling.

  3. I love that gold microshimmer!

    Wow i love this lipstick!

  5. Love the lipstick, don’t love the price. It reminds me of a lighter Marquise D’, which I adore.

  6. P

    It’s too light for me…

  7. Angelcat47

Gorge!!…a pinker version of the nude lip I usually wear…would be beautiful for Spring.

  8. It looks beautiful but I’m afraid it won’t look very good with my skintone…

  9. Polly

    Pink + Gold = AWESOME !

    A-MUST-HAVE !!

Good news for those who think this is too pale:

I checked this out today at the counter and it looked so orange-y pink on me (MAC NC25), maybe slightly nude, but not pale at all. It also had good pigmentation and looked opaque on me!

      Shocking part was it cost 1,000 THB which is (according on today’s rate) 33.26 USD… sucks :{

This is amazing! What a surprise in how pigmented it is and of course it looks great on you. I’ll pick this one up for sure. I can’t find the other color (voilet)to see what it might look like. Have you seen the other lip color released for the spring collection?

  11. Jenna

beautiful! I swear every color looks good on you!

  12. stephanie

How does it compare to Hue from MAC?

  13. The swatch looks so nice, but I just don’t like it on the lips. Nothing against your lips Christine, just that I don’t tend to dig light pinks. Great post as always!

  14. anonymous

pretty but seems horribly light. I am light so I prefer dark to contrast

  15. Erica

so pretty! do you think that Rimmel’s Airy Fairy is a dupe for this? it looks similar to me!?

  16. CJ

Whoaaa. It’s way nicer on the lips than in the tube, how’d it get so pale from the tube to the lips?

  17. Amrita

Any colour looks amazing on you! 😀 But it’s too light for my NC 40 skin tone. Pinks tend to make me look more brown, so I tend to stay away from them.

  18. Cindy

LOVE it! Have been looking for a nice opaque pinky-nude for a looong time. Christine, if I remember correctly you’re an NC30…? I’m NC30 as well but with a very yellow/golden undertone… Do you think it would make me look sickly?

  19. Nunuiviet

Gorgeous colour when swatched on skin but lacks pigment and intensity when applies on lips, so I’ll pass

  20. suzysoffice

How pretty this reminds me of macs beigeland my favorite, loks good on you Christine : )

  21. Sadie

I went and bought this and wanted to let everyone know that if you have pigmented lips, like myself, it will not be nearly as pale. It looks more like a medium hot bubblegummy pink on me. I have to put MAC lipstick in Myth on underneath it to make it a wearable shade (I like pale colors).

  22. Jen

Does anyone know if it will be available at Estee Lauder counters as well? Is it already? I can’t seem to find it other than online…

  23. Aww, sometimes I wish you could show swatches on fair skin, Temptalia. Or that there was a beauty blogger as popular as you who is a pale caucasian, since your swatches look so different compared to the products in real life for me. :( I appreciate what you do, though. Definitely going to try this in person!

  24. Layal

Does anyone know whe I can get this online or in store in Australia. Este lauder counters don’t seem to carry this colour, I wouldnreally love to have it, thanks.

  25. Pat

Omg! I love this color…it’s amazing with this goldshimmer in it! I really love your page! Does one know if I can still get it somewhere or does one know another dupe? That would be great!…
