Chanel Les Khakis de Chanel Nail Collection
In celebration of Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out, Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, has created LES KHAKIS DE CHANEL, a collection of three Le Vernis Nail Colours. Ultra sophisticated shades Khaki Rose, Khaki Brun and Khaki Vert can be worn alone or combined for an urban chic camouflage effect. Each shade will retail for $25.00 and be available on September 10th.

These are nice but I’ll stay with MAC In the Buff – since I got it, it’s been the only color I’ve worn on my fingers the whole summer. It just blends perfectly with my skin tone like a “nude but not”. The whole salon freaks out with how gorgeous it is when I get them done.
It’s weird to see MAC be ahead of Chanel on a nail polish trend for once.

That green one seems like the most interesting. i wonder if it’s actually the shade of the paper in the promo image. I imagine it would be pretty close as that kind of attention to detail is what you get for chanel prices

Khaki Vert made it on my Chanel must haves list…I have another color like it in my collection, but they are both different so that’s why I’m getting it. I’m a sucker now for Chanel nail polishes. Grrrrrrrr!
I have never been too big into nail polish but after getting Lotus Rogue and Nouvelle Vague my opinion has changed! I found out that some Nordstrom’s are making an event out of this and will have these polishes for sale on the 10th and free make-overs. I signed up and also put Khaki Rose on hold

They are really lovely, but is it true, that they’re just coming out for one special event and are sold just for one evening? I heard that for Germany and it would be so sad if this is true

I think if you make a frankenpolish you could dupe the khaki one pretty easily. per the picture I think you could prob take RImmel Lycra polish in Milk Chocolate, add a bit of a dark navy blue (it wont turn navy), and then a a bit of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Commander in Chic.
These look too murky and muddy for me… I prefer something with a little more grey… I’m still happy with Particuliére… These are totally military colors… I expect something more unique and luxurious for $30 a polish…

Only 7 locations in the states will carry these. Very, very limited release. Hawaii, Texas, NY, NJ, Nevada, Florida and Beverly Hills. And even some of these locations will only get a limited amount. These will be huge!! Like the blood red/black of 1996. No one could get that color for a year.
They look too ‘matte’ for my liking. I prefer something with a bit of shimmer, so will pass this along.
These colors are so blah, I was expecting something better. The only one I like is Khaki Vert. Hey Christine, can you please do swatches for the new Le Vernis shades Rouge Fatal 487, Rose Insolent 489 and Rose Confidentiel 491. Thank you :}
