ooooh i’m guessing the “velvet” topcoat is going to give that kinda vinyl finish we saw in black velvet?

the models looks absolutely radiant! I’m VERY excited to hear about the foundation. will you be testing it christine?

Perfection Lumiere sounds exciting! It must be the replacement for Pro Lumiere, which was a great foundation. So I’m sure many of us will have VERY high expectations! I trust Peter Phillips though. :p

Their skin looks awesome. But I bet they have wonderful skin to begin with and it has very little to do with the actual foundation… LOL

I do not like this look- it looks like they are hardly wearing makeup. I guess if that is the look you are going for, it is great. I always want rich colors in fall.

Christine do you know if they will have darker shades in this line of foundation, NC50 and beyond maybe? Thanks in advance.
On another note im so frustrated with chanel Every time i go to the counter they tell me that they will be extending the line, its been 3 years.

I spoke to my counter manager yesterday and saw the new line books that they receive. The colors of the new foundation are being expanded.

Yes this line will have an extended range of deeper shades that will suit a NC50 and beyond! This line will replace the shades of Mat Lumiere that have been phased out(cedar, walnut etc). It will eventually take the place of Pro Lumiere, which will phase before the years end. Hope this helps!

Kayla, I’m super-fair and I have the same troubles with Chanel — love their makeup but they never have foundation or powder light/cool-toned enough for me. They have to be more inclusive at both ends of the spectrum!

The models’ skin does look awesome. Not sure about the makeup, though. I like a natural look as much as the next woman, but this looks non-existent. Palefaces like me who don’t have natural color need some from their makeup :).

I like this as a fresh face for fall, despite being a die hard fan for the traditional dark & dramatic looks. It’s so polished and defined without losing the soft, natural edge.

Hannah Avatar

I love these looks (because I love the idea of no makeup but don’t look flawless without it), but I think it’s funny that they’re wearing so much to look like they’re wearing nothing at all.

Crystal C. Avatar

It looks so natural-very very natural, like they don’t have anything at all. I’m torn between feeling awed about it and feeling weird with the thought of spending much on that kind of look.

Does anyone know if the chanel eye kohl in clair is permanent? the lady at my chanel counter said that it was a limited edition from a past season and is not available….

thanks!

This is exactly what I’d like my “everyday make up” to look like. Absolutely beautiful. I was about to go out and purchase Vitalumiere Aqua, but I think I will hold out for this one.
