Burberry Blush Lipstick
Burberry Blush (09) Lipstick ($30.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a pretty-in-pink touched by coral with very subtle gold micro-shimmer and mostly opaque color coverage. It has a lovely creamy texture and a slightly glossy look. I find Burberry’s formula fairling moisturizing and long-wearing–about four hours with this shade–and comfortable to wear.
I think this is an incredibly flattering shade–it’s not too warm or cool, it’s just that right shade that will work for a variety of skin tones. On those with pinker lips, it will turn a beautiful shade of rose, and on my lips, that hint of coral seems to strengthen than when just swatched on the skin. The lipstick is rose-scented, though, so those with sensitive sniffers beware! I don’t really sense any taste, though.

RECOMMENDATION: Burberry’s new lipsticks are a nice option for those with drier or more needy lips, because the formula wears well without drying lips out. This particular shade will complement a lot of skin tones because of its more neutral undertones.

I just sent for "Blush" 09 at Nordstrom. Have Heather Rose, Dusty Rose, and Rosewood. I am surprised at how much I enjoy this lipstick. I wish the case were smaller, but it's fun to drop the cap on the tube and watch it twist into place. The lipstick is delightful. Thanks for the beautiful swatches!
Christine, can you think of a good dupe for the Rosewood Lip Cover? It is sold out on the Burberry website and is on backorder for a month at Nordstrom. Thanks! :)
It looks almost like Chanel Mademoiselle, maybe not as pink. I don't have it, though, so I just went off of swatches I found via Google!
A dupe for this is MAC See Sheer or Viva Glam Cyndi. Don't waste your money on overpriced lipstick!!
Thanks. I was thinking right now maybe MAC's Resolutely Red Lipstick LE from the High Def collection. I have that... On the swatches they look pretty matched up on screen... hmm..
That is, indeed, a lovely color on you. I love the quality of Burberry's lipstick, but I hate the case it comes in. I'm not a big fan of the needlessly large, sharp angled case. The lipstick is beautiful on the lips, but the case is uncomfortable in the hand.
This is such a pretty shade on u christine, i would buy but $30 that way too much for my budget, lol.
This is such a sensible colour. I think every woman should have a colour like this in her lipstick collection because it really is one of those shades that could do no wrong.
Wow, I really like it! It's just that it's almost my natural lipcolor, because my lips are quite pigmented..
