I love matte nail polish. I used to have a matte top coat 10 years ago and couldn’t find any anymore out there when I got it finished (France is not really exciting when it comes to nail polish). I really adored it over burgundy nails. I’m really glad it’s coming back although I wish it could be available all the time and not only when trend decide so. 🙁

I’m really interested in the new matte trend! Oddly enough one of my Essie neon colours turns matte when I put it on, which I don’t think it’s supposed to, but hey, it works!

Neons tend to turn matte when they dry.

I LOVE dark, matte colors especially on short nails, which I have because I’m also a massage therapist. I wish I knew where I could buy Zoya in person here in Jacksonville, FL. The zip code directory on their site doesn’t help at all.

The base of the polish is matte. But I assume there is either small glitters or mica powder in it. Matte shimmer sounds really like something interesting.
Matte as in it isn’t shiny. Like there is no glossiness. I was confused too =]

Matte nail polish with no reflections is called manglaze. It’s for guys but girls wear it too. They only make it in black and gray which sucks because I’m sooo addicted to it! =]
