I would pair it with Cranberry and both colors from the Polar Opposites MES. I would probably also put in a bit of the dark blue color from the Inter-View MES.

Sarah Avatar

I would pair MAC’s Smoky Heir with a deep purple smokey eye, consisting of Push The Edge pigment on the lid, Violet Pigment in the crease, Carbon in the outer v, and an inner corner highlight of pink opal pigment 🙂

I looove me some smokey purples!

Svetlana Avatar

I would wear it with my Sephora’s smokey eye palette !;)

If I win this you would really make me happy, especially because in the city where I live we don’t have MAC , and I am desperate to have something from FF collection!;)

Hugs from your biggest fan in Denmark!;)

WBWright Makeup Artist Avatar

I would pair Smut with Smoky Heir along lash line, a dash of Cranberry to bring up the richness of the colors blended with Soft Brown into crease and my fave blend of Brulee and Motif at brow. Under lashes I would smudge out a blend of Smut and Cranberry.

Ezzy Avatar

since i cannot really afford mac eyeshadows i did probably pair up these with a nyx neutral brown eyeshadow & the borjoius smoky eyeshadows !!

H. Lee Avatar

Interesting question because I don’t own any liquid eye liners
I think it would look great with a a very soft purple/violet look with this liner on the upper lash line and black on the water line??

Chanel Avatar

WOW! I’m actually the first one to leave a comment. I would love to win the eyeliner. I would pair it with some of the eyeshadow from the Urban Decay Naked palette. A mix of gunmetal, hustle and sin.

Sophie Avatar

Hi Christine – I would def wear this with some gold toned eyeshadows such as half baked and hustle and darkhorse from the naked pallete on the crease.

Thanks girl!

olga Avatar

hi,

i’ll love to take part in the give away.

i’ll pair it with the electra and poison pen eye shadows.

thanks,

olga
olgafr1 [at] gmail [dot] com

ashley Avatar

I would make a dark smokey eye with the darkest colour of my Love to Love eyeshadow trio and embark en vanilla as a highlight and i would take a little bit of honey lust to make the look pop!

ofir Avatar

i would pair this eyeliner with an icy purpl with maybe silver smoky look 🙂 but i think i would wear it more with a neutral eye !
let’s say… shroom e\s on the lid (because im pale 🙂 , and maybe a cool darker toned brownish color on the crease? :))

Etaoin Avatar

I would use fresh green mix eyeshadow (the green side) in the inner corner. Then on the outer corner AC/DC eyeshadow from box of shadows II.Then the superslick eyeliner on the upper lashline. On the lower lashline I would use black eyeliner over which i would smudge AC/DC eyeshadow. Thanks Christine!

Laura Avatar

I would pair it with
-MAC Brulé on the browbone and in the inner corners
-MAC Humid on the lid and under the lower lashline
-a hint of MAC Beautiful Iris on th middle of the lid
-a mix of MAC Nocturnelle,Poison Plum, Typographic and Beauty Marked in the crease

Mimi Avatar

A dramatic cat eye liner using the Smoky Heir with Urban Decay White Rabbit (Polyester Bride) lid to brow, with a light vertical band of Underland (Flash) up the center of the lid and smudged under lower lash line.

Isha Avatar

I would probably pair the eyeliner with brown and plum eyeshadow (just because I love that combination and I think plum would go well with Smoky Heir!). Prolly, Handwritten on the inner half of the lid and Cranberry on the outer half. And to complete the look, a nude lipstick, Creme d’Nude. 🙂

Laura Avatar

I would pair the silver one with a blending between silver and dark blue, the blue one with dark blue eyeshadow (smoky, etc.), I would pair the purple eyeliner with purple or pink eyeshadow, or maybe a blending between pink and purple =)

The Beauty Queen from Mars Avatar

I think I would go for the following look: a cool and work safe version of the classic eyeliner. (the following products are all by MAC; I am NC15 and look better in cool colors)

Eyes: Bare Canvas as base, Shroom or Naked pigment all over lid, Quarry with a tapered brush in the crease and outer quarter of the lid. Then apply Smoky Heir as an eyeliner, thin or dramatic, as you choose.

Cheeks: Well Dressed, with maybe a bit of Dollymix, if you want more color.

Lips: either Angel for subtle color or Speed Dial for more.

cait Avatar

For Smokey Heir, I would pair it with black or deep purple eyeshadow and Mascara. I would do this by lightly filling in the outer corner of my eye with the shadow and fading it to my natural tone towards my inner eye. I would then wing out the mascara on the upper lid. I would apply my mascara (Imju FiberWig) and that would be my eyes. I would probably leave the rest of my face with its natural pigmentation.

Lo Avatar

I’d pair it with Bordello and Perversion from the new UD palette, Mac Dazzlelight on the tear duct area, and Blanc type and dazzlelight as a highlight

Leenie Avatar

I would do a natural looking eye with a thick bold line of smoky heir winged out.
I would use modelette, saddle and brown down eyeshadow with smoky heir.

Antoinette Avatar

I would use hepcat and mulch. I’m just going off colors I see on the site because I only own 5 MAC shadows and none of them will match.

kasiaj85 Avatar

I’d use it with Shale and Seedy pearl on the lid and Fig 1 in the crease. Or maybe with golds and yellows, like Goldmine and Amber Lights. Probably it would also fit gray and pink makeup.

Kristen Avatar

I probably would pair this with my BE disco on lid with BE nightowl in crease blended up. I got these colours in the BE Foiled Eye Kit and think this liner would go awesome with these. 🙂

Silvia Avatar

This liquid liner is sooo gorgeous!

I can see it with Fashion Groupie on the lid and the blue/purple side of Odd Couple on the crease. I bet it’ll look gorgeous with the colors of the Dior quint Smoky Design.

Lrys Avatar

Firstly, what an awesome giveaway! Im not really sure what i would pair smoky heir with but most probably a brown eyeshadow. I dont have purple eyeliners so not exactly sure but i think itll look good with a neutral brown! (:

Katie Avatar

I think I’d use something like Carbon and Nocturnelle with Shroom or Vapour as a highlight. I always get dumbfounded when choosing colors to compliment colorful liners! lol

Kai Avatar

I’d pair it with a purple combo, like MAC Crystal and Parfait Amore because I have green eyes, and the purple brings out my eyes. Plus, I cold make it appear more smoky with the eyeliner!

Grace Avatar

When I was trying Smokey Heir out in the store I paired it with an everyday neutral eye using Era on the lid and Brown Down in the crease. Nice alternative to black eyeliner!

Carrie Avatar

I loved your swatch of this color. I would pair it with coordinating purples or with neutrals like browns & greys for a pop of color. Lovely shade!

Leila Avatar

I would love to win these gorgeous liquid liners as we do not get them in south africa. I love Mac and would cherish these like nothing else

laura Avatar

I would pair smokey heir with beautiful iris on inner corners of eye, black tulip on lid and carbon blended on outer lid for a purple smokey look =]

Maggie Avatar

For a day time look, I’d use Smoky Heir with Vex and Satin Taupe to bring out the purple-tone in the eyeshadow and still be office-appropriate. For a even quicker look, I’d pair it with Clinique creme eyeshadows in Muffin or Truffle.

Julia Avatar

I’m a cheerleader. Being one, you have to have a pop of color, and then the rest “modest”. So, I would wear blanc type all over, then put wedge in the crease (my fav combo), and then the blue one only on the top (because I have kind of big eyes). Thank you 😀

Shannon Avatar

I would put Shale on the lid, Plum Dressing in the crease and Shadowy Lady in the outer “V”. Then use Shroom to highlight. Take a little of the Shadowy Lady and place on the lower lash line for liner and use the Smoky Heir on the upper lash line.

Vickie Avatar

I can’t wait to try these! I’d try Smoky Heir with eyeshadows like Hey, Fig. 1, Vibrant Grape, and the new Palace Pedigreed Quad! Can’t wait to get some money so I can get my hands on the quad!

lia Avatar

hmm, I almost want to leave it plain, just for max effect! but if I had to choose shadows, I’d probably go with a purple to bring out the color of Smoky Heir – maybe Quite Spoiled (lid) and Palace Pedigree (crease) from the Palace Pedigree palette?

Jolie Avatar

Hate to admit it but I’m a simple girl when it comes to eyeshadow, would probably use Urban Decay cream shadow in Midnight Rodeo – I like the look of a sparkly but neutral shadow with bright colored eyeliner.

Kelly Avatar

I would pair Smoky Heir with the “Steel” Make Up For Ever Aqua cream sheerly all over the lid, then deepen the look with either Nocturnelle or Memorabilia in the crease.

laden uyguroglu Avatar

I think I would use it with either on its own or mac beauty marked with some brown color like antiqued.
I cant wait for UK launch date! liquid eyeliners are so nicely colored:)

sofia Avatar

OMG!!!!!!!! i love love love it!!!from the very first moment i saw it i fell for it!!!
i would wear it alone with a neutral shimmer e/s or i would use it to the upper lashline with a violet smokey… it’s such a lovely colour that i can think of so many ways to wear it;-)

Sara Avatar

I’d wear a neutral light colored shadow to make the color pop- I’ve been eyeballing your smokey heir swatches since you’ve put them up!

Anna Avatar

If I was to wear the Smoky Heir eyeliner I’d go with a coppery color like mac copper sparkle and mix it up with a purple like flash from UD on the lower lashline and in the crease:)

sophie Avatar

i would use the colors from the quad!
courlty as a highlighter and quite spoiled as my lid color. Palace pedigreed in the crease and i would make a cat eye with the eyeliner, on lower lashline i would use palace pedigreed!

Margaret Avatar

Well ive been using “on the hunt” as a base for my eyeshadows and its been working fabulously for everything. So… I would wear it with everything!

Angelina Avatar

I would wear Amber Lights on my lid and Sketch and Nocturnelle in my crease. The finishing touch would be to line my upper lid with the Smokey Heir.

sarah Avatar

I would pair it with orb on the eyelid then either sketch or woodwinked in the crease, carbon in the outer v and then some phloof for the inner v to excentuate the eyes. I really just live the color purple and I think it looks magical on the eyes.

Angela Avatar

Those three eyeliners really remind me of a quad from the Cult of Cherry Launch. Smoky Heir definitely needs to be paired with Deep Truth or Shadowy Lady.

Mariah Avatar

OMGOMGOMG, this was the one thing I wanted but didn’t order! (I got the PP Quad instead!) So OBVS I would love to use it with the Palace Pedigreed Quad! But also, I think it’d be beautiful with some pinks that are lighter and pinker, like Da Bling, or something frosty. And accent that with a dark purple matte, like Top Hat!

Abril Avatar

With Mauvement pigment! I loooooove this pigment! I actually bought it like 3-3 years ago and I did not know it was limited edition! Haha! I have the full old jar! LOL!

Yenny V Avatar

For everday wear, I would do a simple neutral look using dazzlelight, soft brown & espresso eyeshadows. Then line my eyes if smoky heir for a pop of color. For a more dramatic look, I’d wear it with a bright silver smokey eye. I’m thinking electra eyeshadow or silver fog pigment.

Kaylabella Avatar

Something really light, UD Sellout on the lid, Wedge in the crease along with UD Twice Baked. I think the purple would just pop with those colors!

Kathy Avatar

I think that Smoky Heir would look GREAT with Woodwinked on the lid, and Bronze in the crease. For some reason, that look would scream Autumn to me. 🙂

I would also wear it with lighter neutral eyeshadows (like All That Glitters or Stila’s Kitten) as a nice spin on a classic “pinup” look.

Camille Avatar

I would pair it with a neutral smokey eye- Naked Lunch on the first third, then Satin Taupe (to go with the purple in the eyeliner) in the crease and outer part of the lid. I would then put a dark purple or brown like espresso or sketch on the outer v. Top it off with the eyeliner and some mascara, and some nude lips and pink cheeks!

adel a. Avatar

i’d create a purple, taupe and grey smokey eye with smoke and diamonds, hepcat, mauvement and coco pigment. this liner would be the perfect finishing touch.

Maria Tenor Avatar

I would wear the liners on their own with a neutral wash over my lid so that the color of the liners will be the focal point, some masacra and a nice blush and neutral/pinkish lip to fnish the look! I LOVE BLOG EVEN IF I DNT WIN UR THE BEST!

Heather Avatar

I would probably wear this baby on its own with a little bit of highlight on the brow bone/inner corner such as white frost. I would wear VG Cyndi on the lip for a pop of color 🙂 I would love to win this!!

JEN Avatar

Lid: MAC Smoke & Diamonds e/s
Crease: MAC Copperplate
MAC 134 lashes
MAC Haute and Naughty mascara (naughty side)
Lips: MAC Plushglass in Ample Pink (best lipgloss ever!)

Alexis Avatar

silver liquid liner – maybe a black smokey eye and blend the liner in it too,.

blue liquid liner -i would do something like petrilude’s “blue canary” look. i really like dark blues.

purple liquid liner – i dont really know but id find many ways to use it. maybe use the purple and blue together.

Stephanie Avatar

I would use Seedy Pearl over the lid, Plum Dressing, mixed with a bit of Shadow Lady in the crease and outer corner of the eye and lastly a bit of Mylar in the inner corner of the eye and lightly blended at the brow bone!!! I LOVE MAC and I wish I could have bought more of the Fab Felines collection but I am waiting for the Disney Villains!!! I am pretty much going to buy everything!!!! Soooo excited!

Elizabeth Avatar

I would do a very neutral eye so that the deep plum color would pop. Most likely the very natural colors from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Maybe “Naked” on the lid, “buck” in the crease and “Virgin” for the highlight. 🙂

eleni Avatar

i’d pair nocturnal with satin taupe to compliment it, signature blue wih nylon for a modern take on classic look and smokey heir with hepcat for really intense eyes.

Step Avatar

I’d probably define the crease a little with a light hand of a matte medium brown or grey, but mostly let the liner be the star and keep the rest of the eye on the nude side.

gissel reyna Avatar

I am very new to mac so I don’t have a lot of their shadows. But I think smokey heir would be nice with all that glitters all over lid, woodwinked on the crease and expresso to deepen the crease. thanks

Madeleine Avatar

I love these superslick eyeliners! since these are so distinctive on their own, i would go very easy on the eyeshadow, definitely neutral, to make the eyeliner pop even more!

Jenna Avatar

For the Smoky Heir Superslick liquid eyeliner I would pair it with a really wild color like Going Bananas from the Dare to Wear collection. I just simply love yellow and purple put together cause they are so radically different from each other but come together and balance each other so well at the same time.

Misty Avatar

I would use Mac’s vanilla e/s and us Beauty marked e/s in the crease or Carbon e/s in the crease would work as well. thanks for the contest. :<)

Cheyenne Avatar

Oh this is my favorite out of all of them! I’m a little skeptical about it, but I’ve heard a lot of good reviews.

I’d have to say I’d pair it with either some dark purples or some dark browns. I see using this in a more smokey eye look.

Thank you for another great chance to win!!

Jordyn Avatar

I would wear smoky heir with Memorabilia on the lid, Scene in the crease, and Goldmine on top of both colors… that way the purple color in smoky heir will stand out 🙂

Katie H. Avatar

I would wing it out, put Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliner in dime as a second line, and use the ‘Creep’ or ‘Gunmetal’ color from Urban Decay’s Naked palette.

Shanna Avatar

I’d either go almost all purple with shadows like Beautiful Iris and Parfait Amour on the lid/crease, or a very neutral eye with just the liner for a pop of color (Either Vanilla or Next to Nothing all over the lid, bamboo in the crease).

Brianne Avatar

I would pair Smoky Heir with a smoked out brown eye shadow look – maybe Wedge and Satin Taupe? I think it would pair nicely with browns 🙂

bananie Avatar

I have a hard time pulling some purple eyeshadows off since I think I look like I got in a fight and have a black eye. I’d probably use it with my fave shadows: smoke & diamonds and/or warming trend.

Sara Avatar

I reallllllly realllly want these but I can’t get them! =(
I’d pair it naked lunch, and wedge. Something natural!
Thanks Christine for the chance to win!

Katie Avatar

I would let the liner do the talking. A little Electra on the lid, a little Plumage or Nehru to pick of the blue microshimmer, and Shroom or Phloof! to highlight. A little cat eye action with Smoky Heir and you’ve got one sassy eye.

Sandy Supabyotin Avatar

I would wear smokey heir with a very subtle shimmery all over lid color like all that glitters! I love a simple cat eye 🙂 thank you!

mary Avatar

i’m on a huge urban decay kick right now, so i would use maui wowie on the lid, smog in the crease and virgin from the naked palette as brow/inner tear duct highlight for a quick eye for a shimmery night out!

Donna Avatar

I would do a little vanilla on the inner corner with some blackberry and wedge in the crease with a little gesso on the browbone. 🙂 Liners…yum!

Danielle Avatar

Smoky Heir is a beautiful deep purple color, so I’d like to pair it with a complementing shade of gold. I’m thinking a wash of Goldmine on the lid, Soft Brown in the crease, a mix of Sketch and Carbon in the outer v, and Shroom or Vanilla under the brow and on the inner corners of the eye.

I might want to pair it with a green as well… maybe something like Greensmoke or Sumptuous Olive, smoked out with Carbon and highlighted with Ricepaper. 🙂

Amarie Avatar

I’d pair it with a grey, like M.A.C. Scene. Or it would look cool with Urban Decay Narcotic; I like the idea of shimmery eyeliner with matte eyeshadow!

Mai Avatar

i would definitely wear this as a cat eye and line the bottom lash with purple eye shadow and smoke out the outer bottom corner with a little bit of carbon.curl lashes, add mascara and on the tips of the lashes apply a little bit of the liner for that extra purple high light.

Lauren Avatar

I think the gorgeous purple would stand out well if it were paired with a super shiny silver like sugarpill tiara pigment smoked out into the crease with mac scene eyeshadow and with mac nocturnelle eyeshadow on the lower lash line to bring out the purple.

Britney Avatar

I would definitely pair it with Silver Ring on the lid and Parfait Amour in the crease. Maybe with some Carbon to make it smoky for some extra sass! 😉

ALessa Ngo Avatar

OMG, I would pair this with some neutral shades like rice paper, All That Glitters or gold and blue shades. I think it will be very flattering on my eyes

Meesh Avatar

almost every color except reds, oranges and yellows. Something champagne or neutrals for everyday and play it up with plums and blues for color!

Andrea Avatar

I would pair MAC’s Smoky Heir with a deep cranberry smokey eye, consisting of the Burmess Beauty Skin tone, cranberry on the lid, Brown Pigment in the crease, Carbon in the outer v, and an inner corner highlight of pink opal pigment.

inaya Avatar

I’d pair it with a green like sassy grass to bring out some contrast; but since I have neither, I’ll just continue playing out combos in my head

gemin Avatar

I’m not going to win this, I never win anything. BUT I would pair it with a grey shadow. Something along the lines of Satin Taupe. Or UD Heist, which is a matte grey/taupe slightly plumish tint. Those where the first shades that came to mind for Smoky Heir.

nikki c. Avatar

i’d wear smoky heir with a simple, not to dramatic smokey eye using the burmese beauty quad and utterly game on the cheeks and just some lip balm or conditioner on the lips:]

Katrina Avatar

I agree with one of the comments about wearing it on it’s own. If I wanted more “umph”, I would use this liner with a purple/black smokey eye. Maybe add some leopard print next to the lid.

Brooke Avatar

Since I think Smokey Heir is a beautiful enough product to really steal the show, I’d use it to create a modern take on a 40’s pin-up look. Flawless skin, downplayed blush and a beautiful nude lip paired with an eye that features: Champagne hued shade all over the lid, a matte highlighter like mylar or brule, a very light brown shade (maybe soft brown) to add a slight shadow to the crease and then smokey heir applied to the upper lashline in a thin-to-thicker line that wings out dramatically at the end. I’d apply a very short line of smokey heir to the lower lash line and use the 219 pencil brush to smudge/smoke it out…lastly i’d highlight the inner corner using nylon because it’s my favorite and really makes for a dramatic inner corner (:

Torrey Avatar

I’d probably do All That Glitters all over my lid, Star Violet in the crease, a bit of Phloof! as a highlighter, and Smoky Heir as eyeliner on top (possibly on the bottom, too, depending on how it looked with my coloring – as a redhead, you have to be careful!

I’ve already bought two of these eyeliners (Pure Show & On the Hunt), and I love them so far! They’re my first liquid eyeliners (ever), and I’m so impressed I’d definitely buy more colors in the future!

Emma Avatar

There are so many things I could pair this liner with! In to add depth in a way that is cohesive with a purple look, to spice up a neutral look, or with a beautiful gray smoky eye using smoke and diamonds.

Felicia Olson Avatar

I would use the superslick eyeliners with a smokey eye. The silver one would go with a silver/grey smokey eye. The blue would go with a brighter smokey eye. Either a blue, grey, or even a orangeish smokey eye to contrast. And the black could be used for anything. With any colors.

Janet Avatar

Yay! I’m so excited about this contest; I’ve been on the search for a good liquid liner…
Anyway, I’d probably pair this with a nice, dark smoky plummy purple eye with tons of black mascara. I’d do a neutral, glossy lip with pale pink cheeks… yum.

Sophia Avatar

Nocturnal- This will look really nice if I’m going to a club. I would pair this with a classic smokey eye and use Nocturnal as a eye liner and before it dries i would put glitters on top of it.

Signature Blue- I wold wear a soft neutral col and put this as a really nice winged out eye liner so the eye liner can be a vocal point of the makeup.

Smoky Heir- I would wear a soft military green color on the lid then a soft brown color on the crease to darken it up more I’ll put a really dark green… almost black on the outer corner and mac ricepaper as a highlight. And Smokey Heir as a cute famine eye liner.

Indah Avatar

I’d pair this with MAC ‘Amber Lights’ eyeshadow and a non-branded eyeshadow (which belongs to my mom) that’s about the same color as the MAC ‘Smoky Heir’ eyeliner. I will use this look to school cause i love an easy quick look for school.

Siham Avatar

This eyeliner would really stand out with neutral eyeshadows, i’m thinking patina or satin taupe all over the lid, and a nice highlight under the brows. Would love to try that!

Zenaida Avatar

I would do this with neutral shadows and a sheer burgundy lip. I’d also do it with a boulder pink/purple look, maybe a smokey eye with a nude-pink lip.

CJ Avatar

For a subtle, day-time look, I’d use it with Chanel’s Ombre Paupières in 737 (I think they might be called something else in the States? It’s the liquid, iridescent eyeshadows in a pink-y champagne colour.)
For a night-time look I’d vamp it up with MAC’s Young Punk and Chanel’s quad in Vanités – I think it might be called Enigma in the States.

Janice Avatar

I’d love this over a nude wash, like naked pigment with satin taupe in the crease!
Or maybe over Urban decay gunmetal and AC/DC from the book of shadows II.

Courtney Avatar

I’d wear all kinds of looks with this, purple is a staple eyeliner color for me. But the first look I’d do would probably be Shale on the lid, Trax lightly in the outer corner up into the crease, and Shore Leave to highlight!

Noire Tropical Beauty Avatar

I would use a neutral colour on the inner lid like Lithe pig or Warming Trend. Then a yellow colour all over the rest of the lid, like Golden Lemon pigment. Darken the crease with a midtone brown like Handwritten. Cork above the crease to the brow bone to blend, then Smoky Heir on the upper lashline, winged out. On the lower waterline, Prunella would be used!

Katya Avatar

I think Smoky Heir will look really nice with plum colors – but few i will pair it with for sure are Shadowy Lady, Trax and Star Violet(most likely as a creas colors) and ofcorse to complete the cook i will place something goldish (such as Melon pigment)all over the lid

Tiffany Cabral Avatar

hi, i would use it with mutiny, spiritualize, and violet pigments. Mutiny in the inner corner, spiritualize in the middle, and violet in the outer corner. OR, i would use violet pigment all over and a mix of the three only in the crease to get a more bluish color for some depth.

Josi Avatar

I think i would pair it with them with bright colours …the silver one with a green smokey eye, the purple one with a pinkish one or a purple one and the blue one with a black/grey smokey eye 🙂

Lena Avatar

Definitely a warm golden or pinky neutral eye with a medium line of Smoky Heir on the upper lashline with a wing. I think it’d look especially good with Stila Kitten on the lid, a light warm golden brown colour in the crease, a subdued pinky plum in the outer corner, and a matte highlight. I’d also love using this to kick up a fun lilac or light purple eye.

Erica Avatar

I think it would be gorgeous with some neutrals, like Stila kitten or even some of the colors from Urban Decay Naked palette, to make it really pop

Jayna Avatar

This is such a great color I can think of many combinations. I would pair this with mineralize Earthly Riches. I could also see it with UD Mushroom and AC/DC or smoke&diamonds and UD last call, Bobbie Brown Pewter, on the lid with afterhours or black plum in the crease, you could also add stone for some depth.

Samantha Avatar

I think it would look gorgeous with Urban Decay’s Gunmetal (or any other grey, but that’s the one I have!) or even neutrals…heck, I’d just use my Naked Palette!

strawberry Avatar

i would use them by itself most of the time. if i’m feeling more adventurous or have more time then i would pair it with white eyeshadow or some neutrals.

aleksandra Avatar

I’d pair it with (in order of application from inner corner to outer v) MAC chrome yellow, UD homegrown and Clarin’s jungle green

Inês Avatar

I’d wear Smoky Heir with a matte skintone eyeshadow on the lid e sheer dark blue on the outer conner and a really smoth cat eye done with Smoky Heir e some serious glam lashes! 😀

Ju Avatar

For day : e/s “steep” (mac) on the lids, a mat soft brown on the crease, and a big cat eyes with this eyeliner, of course, lot of black mascara.

For night : just by adding in the lower lashline a bright-copper pigment like “rushmetal” (mac) 🙂

Shannon Avatar

I would probably do something simple, like winged liner with this one. so something light and neutral to lighten up my lids before i pop on the wings!

Stephanie Avatar

I would do a gray and blue smokey eye. Like a matte gray such as “swing set” from everyday minerals with “blue flame” from MAC.

Chaia Avatar

I would pair this liner as a pop of color with shades from my UD Naked palette. I’d use half baked on the inner half of my lid, smog on the outer half, hustle in the crease, and virgin to highlight. I think smoky heir would really bring out my green eyes while the rest of the shadows would still give me my slightly glam neutral eye.

Kiki Avatar

Hmmm, this color is a bluish purple. I think it would look really nice with Satellite Dreams or Parfait amour all over the lid, with Print or Typographic in the crease. A winged out liner on top with a little liner on the end third of the lower lash line would also be cute. 🙂

Marissa B Avatar

Knockout pink and purple eyes with a hint of silvery highlight on the browbone – lots of flash and sparkle. To hold back, I’d use blackground and the Palace Pedigreed pallet to give some daytime drama.

G Avatar

I LOVE THIS COLOUR~! The awesome red/blue glitter probably goes well with my china glaze polish, and then matching with a purple or blue eyeshadow. Maybe with some urban decay ransom colour? It would be interesting to try it with a bright blood red shadow with a pale complexion too, a nice change from just plan red and black!

Shanda Avatar

I would wear this one with everything. My Burmese palette, Satin Taupe, Neutrals like wedge, haux, soba, all of my purples, and alone with a cat eye, mascarra and a sexy red lip. That would be my favorite way to wear this one.

Elena Avatar

Since i have green eyes i just would replace my black eyeliner for this! it will look gorgeous with a neutral look! It’ll make my eyes pop!

LegallyBrunette94 Avatar

Id put a light shimmery eyeshadow over the whole lid and put a bit of buck by urban decay in the crease so that the liner would have room to shine. Or I would put buck on the lid and carbon in the crease.

Linnea Avatar

I would pair Smoky Heir with a little bit of green in the crease(foresty green like Humid or Swimming) with an allover shade of something like filament. Love these eyeliners!

kelly alice. Avatar

oh, i would LOVE Smoky Heir Superslick Liquid Eyeliner. I’d pair it with these: bare study paint pot as base, phloof! in the tear duct, trax all over lid, club in the v/crease, shroom as highlight. mascara up and voila!

Daniela Avatar

a bare lid like painterly paint pot or a more subtle smokey eye using gray and purple!!

thanks Christine for all the giveaways, I just got back from a service project and was catching up on your blog and noticed that you are having a ton!

Caitlyn Avatar

I’d wear it with something like Mac Dazzlelight all over the lid and Trax in the crease to bring out the purple. It would look amazing on green eyes!

Jennifer Avatar

this is my favvvv eyeliner from the collection!!!! id team it up with a light bubble gum pink eye shadow! and a little bit of plum in the crease! and double wing it with this eye liner!

Teresa Avatar

I would love to pair it with purples (love purples!) such as Nocturnelle, Beauty Marked, Beautiful Iris…OR the purple quad from Spring Colour Forecast. BUT I would love to add a golden colour as well, either in the middle of the lid or in the inner corner! 🙂

P.S. hope this goes through! Comments haven’t been working for me 🙁

I would probably pair just a neutral eye like naked lunch on the lid & brow bone with satan taupe in the crease. I did that the other day & wore signature blue & it looked gorgous!

I’d pair this with a light silver or smoky gray eye to give the liner a chance to rule the day. MAC’s silver ring or BE’s platinum pigment.

Honestly – I would go taupe with this. I love pairing taupes and purples together. I would pull out the Style Snob e/s. I would also experiment with a bronze shadow – UD Smog, perhaps??
