To be honest I’ve never done a full-blown green eye. I love green but only as an accent say like a pop of color on the lower lash line as a contrast to a smoky brown eye.

Love green eyes. Mine is UD Acid Rain as a wash, the light green side of Smashbox’s Muse Artiste Palette, and Shu’s ME Olive to contour. Or I love to use Shu Uemura’s painting liner in metallic green to smudge and line.

Last green look I did was a blue/green look using the Coastal Scents 88 palette (just the regular one) with a bright blue on the inner lid and a green on the middle/outer lid with a smoked out outer v. Came out pretty sweet. Loving greens and purples right now but didn’t think purple and green mixed 😉

Alisa Avatar

Steamy on the lid, Club in the crease and outer corner, pulled down into the lower lash line and a bit of Phloof! in the inner corner. So pretty!

The last time I did a green look was for Saint Patties Day. I used the green from my Smashbox pallet all over the lid and then Dreammaker on the crease and as an eyeliner.

My makeup experience is small and I’m not sure I’ve used greens! I’ve always stuck with smokey eyes or pinks because that’s what I’ve been able to get to work with the makeup that I had. I would looove to try a green!

My favourite green eye doesn’t involve any MAC products.. because I don’t really have any 🙁 I have Grand Entrace shadow and a sample of Vanilla pigment, but I’d love to try some more MAC.

My favourite green eye consists of Too Faced’s Fantasy Island duo and a dark mossy green from one of Sleek’s i-Divine palettes.

My twitter name is donotrefreeze 🙂

Shelley Avatar

Let’s see…I think it was Golden Olive pigment on the lid but I can’t remember for sure what I did for the crease. Golden Olive pigment has always been one of my favorite MAC products because it is so beautiful and unique! Looks great as a liner too.

Oh yeah, and I used Fresh Green Mix MES recently and it is so pretty!

Rated R and One-Off were waiting for me today when I got home. I tried them on with Strike a Pose I bought earlier. I don’t know if it was a great look, but a new look is always great!

Kristin Avatar

My last green look was copied from what the MAC make-up artist showed me when the Sugar Sweet collection came out:

Cakeshop shadestick on lid
Club layered on top of the shadestick, and blended into the crease. The green shimmers that are in Club will show up well over the shadestick, but it looks brownish red in the crease where there is no shadestick.
Highlight with beige.

My latest green look I’ve been doing for the past 3 days ’cause I love it.

Beauty from the Earth Lavish applied wet all over the lid, slightly above crease, using a flat shader brush. Use a stiff dome brush to shade the outer-V and crease/above with BFtE Green Apple. Use MAC Going Bananas on a thin pencil brush to shade in the inner-corner and blend into the crease. Highlight, black liner, mascara and yay.

hi Avatar

I actually did two that I liked! 🙂 First one’s tropical green and blue…

An old shadow from Claire’s I found (matte apple-lime green, dead ringer for MUFE #91) on the lid, a baked eyeshadow duo from Wet Seal in Blue/Black (I used the blue side, which is like a lightly tealed-up version of MAC Freshwater, so that’s Shimermoss and Freshwater for that one) on the outer lid and crease, and a dark shimmery teal-blue from an old Liz Arden palette (MAC Strike a Pose) over the Freshwater dupe to darken, MAC Shroom on the brow and to blend. L’Oreal HIP Kohl in Black smudged on upper and lower lashlines, MAC Engraved Powerpoint on lower waterline set with the Black Kohl, Maybelline Full ‘n’ Soft on lashes, do the brows and face makeup. Peachy-bronze blush from the Liz Arden palette (MAC Enough Said or Peachykeen + bronzer), Cherry Chapstick on lips for a healthy, subtle tint.

Second one’s a smokey olive green eye:

MAC Greensmoke (shimmery/glittery olive green with brown and gray) all over the lid, MAC Shimmermoss (teal) over that to green it up, MAC Shroom on brow, above crease, and lightly on the inner lid and corner. L’Oreal HIP kohl in Black on upper and lower lashlines smudged, MAC Powerpoint on lower waterline set with the Black Kohl, MAC Greensmoke + Shimmermoss on the inner lower lashline , Maybelline Full ‘n’ Soft on lashes, do the brows and face makeup. Peachy nude blush (MAC Peachykeen) on cheeks and Cherry Chapstick for a soft, healthy tint.

I’m a SUPER pale girl, so all you palefaced gals out there who find super brights and darks wash you out, try these looks!! 🙂

I would say that my coolest green eye, would be the one i did in 10 minutes in math class :$!

I bought this one eyeshadow set from Claire’s, and dipped my brush in water and mixed the eyeshadow around and when I applied it onto my lids the color was insanely neon green!

I then, did this semi-cat eye look, and by lunch time I kept getting comments on how cool my eyeshadow looked!

I even had this one green-leopard sweater to match!

I love green eyeshadows…I did a wonderful look with the NYX Green Eyes palette. I was a little disappointed because I thought the darkest green would be more green but instead it’s rather brown and golden.

Christy Avatar

I used Painterly Paint pot as a base, Rated R on the lid, One Off in the crease, above the crease. Then a bit of Strike a Pose in the outer corner and outer third above the crease. Plus a little Femme fi as a highlighter, Smolder eye liner along upper and lower lash line and upper and lower waterline, then loads of black Loud Lash mascara.

I am sort of reluctant to do a full out green eye as if yet but I would really love to try one. However what I sometimes do is use super bright greens just above a nice line of black liner or just as a flash of color at the end of my lid >=)

I did a beigey shimmer on the first third of my eyelid, a bright blue in the middle third, and used a really dark green with a little shimmer on the outer third with black eyeliner and lots and lots of black mascara. I felt like a peacock. I kept the lips nude and highlighted around my face with a pearly white. I didn’t leave the house but I did do a lot of fun and embarrassing poses in the mirror.
