I would put magical mist on the lid, blend the crease with bronze or buckwheat. Darken the outer corner with showstopper and then do a brow highlight with either a dashing lassie or once upon a time 🙂

This is a perfect little everyday palette!

rabia Avatar

hmmm.. lets seee….

i will use Magical Mist all over the lid and then a mixture of Showstopper and Buckwheat in the crease, blend out real well and then more showstopper to darken the outer V… and then i will use “A dashing Lassie’ as a brow bone highlight!!!!

Nadine Avatar

i would use the top left colour in the inner corner,
the middle in the bottom one for the outer corner
und in the crease the right bottom colour and blend blend blend ^^

milly Avatar

id use the first colour, a dashing lassie as the highlight to the inner corner and brow bone, with the lid colour being once upon a time and for the crease and the outter v id use the colour buckwheat 🙂 that should make a beautiful day time look <3

jennylevi Avatar

I will create a soft smoky look using the fifth eye shadow in the second row in the crease. In the outer v the sixth eye shadow in the second row for a outer v. on the inner corners of the lid the first eyeshadow.

Su Avatar

I’d use the dark brown on the lid blended out with the above color in the crease and then the lightest color as an inner corner highlight and brow bone hightlight ^_^

Mary Grace Avatar

Top left for the inner corner, top middle for the lid, bottom middle for the outer v and lower lash lining, and bottom right for lining the upper lid. really an awesome palette! i can’t get enough of neutrals!!

Quynh Avatar

I would use the middle color from the top row on the lid, and the color from the bottom right corner on the crease, and the lightest color from the top left corner on the brow bone for a daytime smoky look.

Sia Avatar

I would use the first colour on the bottom on the inner 1/3rd of my eye, use the second colour on the bottom for the outer 2/3rd. I’d use the last colour on the bottom row to add depth and the first colour in the top row to highlight my brows and tear duct! 🙂

Indah Avatar

I would use Once Upon A Time on the very inner lid, then Magical Mist on the middle, and Bronze on the outer lid. I would use Buckwheat on the inner crease and Showstopper for my outer V and darkening the outer of the crease and lid. And I would use A Dashing Lassie as a highlight, and that’s my first look! 😀

Ani_BEE Avatar

A Dashing Lassie as a brow hilighter, Once Upon a Time in the inner corner of the eye, Bronze in the main lid, and Buckhweat in the crease.

More of a work safe look. 😉

divinem (Melissa) Avatar

A Dashing Lassie as a wash all over the lid
Once upon a time on the outer half of the lid for dimension
Magical mist in the crease
Buckwheat in the outer V
Showstopper to line under the eye with a little “flick” past the eye to make them look wider.

LOVE this palette!

Steinella Avatar

I think I would try first:
A Dashing Lassie – in the inner Eye,
Once Upon a Time – over the Eyelid
Magical Mist – into the Crease or Outer V
Lord it Up Pearlglide
Mascara
Greetings from Germany =)

Amy Avatar

I would use the pink champagne color all over the lid, with that middle, reddish brown color on the outer half and in the crease, and the darkest color on the outer third of the lib and outer crease. That light, white-ish color would go in the inner corners of my eye. They look kind of shimmery, so I would use a matte highligher like Blanc Type as a highlight under the brows. I think UD Underground eyeliner would go really well with the plummy undertones of these shadows.

Victoria Avatar

I will definitely start with Buckwheat first because I would like a darker yet not orangy base first.
Then I will put Showstopper on the crease and the end of my end like a V-shape. Put Once Upon A Time in the inner corners of my eyes to have then sharper. And then put the most gorgerous colour – Bronze in the middle. Then blend them nicely!

Raquel C Avatar

Top left for highlight and inner corner, top middle on the lid and bottom middle for the crease maybe line my lash line with bottom right (instead of eyeliner)

Charlotte Avatar

I’d create a very subtle and natural smokey eye for everyday wear with the bottom right, upper right and upper left colour 🙂
Then I’d use one or two thin layers of brown mascara and I’d define my eyebrows a little.
Nude gloss and I’m ready for a day at college 🙂

Sylvie Avatar

I’d use the bronze gold shade all over the crease and the brownish-gold in the crease and probably smudge the darkest brown shade along my lashlines, adding the lightest colour on the lower inner corner.

Danielle Avatar

Id use the whole top row with the taupey color on the lid thr lightest shade as a highlight and the middle color to blend with aftet putting the darkest brown on the bottom in the crease.

Morgan Avatar

I would use the golds and bronzy colors across the bottom of the palette, for a very typical golden fall look. I just purchased the pearlglide eyeliner in undercurrant, and I would use that on my bottom line for an unexpected pop of color!

Allyssa Avatar

I’d put the top middle color in my crease
bottom first color all over my lid.
last bottom color as my out v color.
then lastly the first color on the top for a highlight!

Rina Avatar

Oooh. I would use the top middle rose-y colour in the inner corner, then the amber colour on the bottom left all over the lid, and finally the bottom middle shimmery brown colour in the outer crease. AHH!! <3 So pretty. :]

Terra Avatar

This palette is perfect for my everyday look, I have blue eyes so I could use the bottom left one to make them pop on my lid and then either the middle bottom or bottom right for the crease. I could use the top right or top middle for the highlight!

Alice Avatar

I’d first use Once Upon A Time all over lid, then Magical Mist on inner half of crease, Buckwheat on the outer half of crease, blend out, and line with Showstopper!

misha Avatar

hmm… well, I’d use Bronze on the inner half of my lid, then Buckwheat in the outer half. I’d put Showstopper in my crease and create a nice v-shape in my outer corner. Then for the inner corner I would use Once upon a time and for a highlight A dashing lassie. 😀

Denise Avatar

I would use “Once Upon a Time” in the inner corner, “Buckhweat” in the outer corner and “Showstopper” in the crease. For a highlight I would use “A Dashing Lassie”.

Amanda Dubs Avatar

I actually had a look today that I thought would have been done great with this pallette! I would use A Dashing Lassie for my lid, Once Upon a Time for the crease and outer third, and then bronze for the outer V, and then some winged eyeliner. I hope I win! 🙂

GJ Avatar

I would wear Magical Mist in the inner third of the lid, then blend in buckwheat on the middle of the lid, bronze in the crease and other third, and Showstopper on my lower rim 🙂

Dacia Rogers Avatar

Starting in the bottom row from the left. I’d use the coppery/bronze color for all over my lid and then use the middle brown color for my crease.

Thanks

Kimber Y. Avatar

I’d use Bronze all over the lid, Buckwheat in the crease, Once Upon a Time in the inner corners of my eyes, A Dashing Lassie to highlight the browbone, and then finish it off with UD Bourbon to line the upper and lower lashline + mascara!

Kim Avatar

I never win these things but I keep commenting. I guess it’s optimism mixed with an unhealthy addiction to your blog.

I would use the top center shade, along with the bottom center.

tiffany miranda Avatar

i would use the lightest color all over the lid and put the middle color in the bottem row in the crease and lastly use the darkest shadow as a liner :]

Jane Avatar

I would use the top middle one all over the lid, with the one below it in the crease. And then use the dark brown to deepen the crease, and as an eye liner.

Szlamizita Avatar

I would be so happy to win that I would put all on 😀
But seriously, like others said that rosy color is gorgeous! I would use that first with the color in the right bottom corner.

Eva Avatar

I would use Bronze all over the lid, Buckwheat as crease color, Once Upon a Time as my highlight, and a little bit of Magical Mist in the tear duct area to open up the eyes more 🙂

Amanda Enn Avatar

I’d use the bottom two in the right hand corner! The corner one would be great for a natural liner and the middle bottom one would be a great crease color! 😀

Tara Avatar

The warm ones to create a pretty neutral eye to wear with some dashing RED lipstick! This is THE palette I wanted but I couldn’t afford! Thank you!! 🙂

Briana Avatar

I am sooo happy you are doing a contest with this! All the counters/stores near me are out of stock!
So I am a total neutral girl so I would use Once upon a time on the lid, Buckwheat in the crease, and Showstopper in the outer v.I really hope I win even though I don’t a huge change lol I still hope I win:).

Erin Avatar

I love the one on the top in the middle!!! I would use that on the lid with the one below it in the crease and the one on the top left as a highlight!!!

Isabell Avatar

I would put some Once upob a time in the innerthird of the eye, then some Magical mist on the other part and use showstopper for defining the crease

Melanie Kuziemko Avatar

I would use the A Dashing Lassie (metallic milk) as a base and a highlighter under my brow and inner corner, while the Showstopper (dark brown)along the upper and lower lash line as well as in the crease. The Bronze (copper penny)would be blended into my mobile lid. With some creative brushwork and plenty of blending I would use these shades to create a subtle smokey eye 🙂

Carolina Avatar

Probably use the “white”, pale pink and for the crease, the dark brown. Either way I mainly do combos of pink or brown, so this palette is perfect for me! 🙂

Kerstin Avatar

I would use Magical Mist on the whole lid, than put Buckwheat in the crease and Showstopper in the outer V. I would highlight the browbone lightly with A Dashing Lassie, Once Upon A Time for the tearduct-area and Bronze on the lower lashline. Haha, I would use them all. Don’t know if it would look good, but for the first look I always try to use all the shadows in the palette :D.

Yesenia Avatar

I would use the second color on the top row as in all over lid color and the third color on the second row as a crease color blend it in nicely for a soft everyday look. =)

Renee Avatar

Goodness! I Almost purchased this pallette over the weekend! I bought the pigments instead! lol! I would totally use the bottom left colour on the lid, the middle bottom on the crease and the bottom left I’n the outer V. I would use the top left as my highlighter and Voila!

Michilicious ~ Avatar

I’m thinking about something like this:
The top center (champagne) colour all-over lid
The top left (ashy white) as a highlighter in the inner corner and perhaps the browbone
And the bottom center (brown) on my lower lashline ^^

Christine Avatar

What a fun and easy way to win a great product! First I would apply:
-top left color as a highlight
-bottom middle color as my lid color
-top right color as my crease color
-bottom right to smoke out my outer v

saskia Avatar

i would put the top middle colour all over my lid, then the 1st one in the bottom row on my outer half of my eye, then i would take the darkest colour and put it in my crease x i would then take the first colour and use it as a highlight colour on my brow bone and inner corner xx

KmW Avatar

once upon a time on inner 1/3 lid, blended into bronze on 2/3 outer lid with buckwheat blended in the crease and showstopper to darken outer crease a bit and line the lower lid (beneath lower lashes) and use a dashing lassie to lightly highlight the brow-bone 🙂

Samantha Avatar

i would use a dashing lassie, magical mist, buckwheat, and showstopper in a look all together. i think it would make a really good neutral eye look.

Fluteglitter aka K.S. Avatar

The beauty of eyeshadow quads is their variety of different colours. I would use the golden color on my lid with the bottom right colour in my crease. The top middle would be a great inner tear duct colour.

Anna Avatar

I would use the middle one of the top row on the lid, the middle of the bottom row for the crease, and the far right on the bottom for the outer corner!

Tori Avatar

i would use the backwards L three colors (if that makes any sense) but i would used them for school like the lightest one on my lid and the next shade on my crease and then the darkest one blended into the crease so yeah but they are all really cute!

Kat Avatar

I would use the whole palette together (:
the rosy or the grayish taupe all over the lid, buckwheat and bronze on crease, showstopper on outer v and top left as brow highlight. Although it depends on the finishes of course.

Patrice Avatar

For the lid color, I would you the middle color on the top row. For inner corner, I would use the first color on the top row. For a crease color I would use the middle color on the bottom. For the outer color, into the crease, I would you the matte brown color.

Anna Avatar

Once upon a time on the inner eye/tearduct, a dashing lassie all over the lid, magical mist in the crease and V, and deepen the V with showstopper is what I would do first lol.

Claire Avatar

I couldn’t restrain myself to just one! I would use A dashing lassie (top left) Bronze and Buckwheat (bottom left and centre). Such a pretty little palette xxx

Rise Avatar

I would use the rosy color (top middle) as a highlighter, then the tan one below (bottom middle) on the lid, then smudge the dark brown one (bottom right)into the upper lashline. This is a very nice palette for everyday use.

Agnes Avatar

i would do a soft smokey brown look first as its perfect for the cold winter snow we’re having over here! i’d use the top middle first to highlight inner corners, the bottom left all over the lid, the bottom middle in outer corners and the darkest shade in my crease 🙂

Courtney Avatar

i’d use the middle two shades (middle of top row and middle of bottom row) for a neutral work look. i like having neutral shades to work into my work look 😉

Isabelle Avatar

I would use the first light color as a highlight, the one next to the one underneath it as a crease, and the one above that on the rest of the lid.
Thanks 🙂

danielle :) Avatar

i would use the pretty shimmery one in the middle of the top row all over my lid and the darker brown one in the middle of the second row in my crease. and maybe darken the outer corner with the darkest brown 🙂

Magui Avatar

In my first look i’d use the greyish mixed with the bottom row middle color all over my lid, smoke it out with the dark brown and highlight with the pinkish. 🙂

edith lopez Avatar

ohh i dont know wich one to choose, i like all the colours this its my favorite palette from the collection but i think i will try the bronze because i love bronzy colours!!!

zuuchini Avatar

i would use the middle top pink one all over the lid and darken the look slightly a bit with the middle bottom brown. Add a bit of shimmer in the corner of the eyes with the grayish silver.

Kaley Avatar

Bronze on the lid, Buckwheat in the crease, Showstopper in the outer v and dashing lassie to highlight and inner corner. I love that you do giveaways, I think it really shows you care about your readers and arent just concerned with keeping a whole bunch of products for yourself.

Analicia Avatar

I would use “bronze” all over the lid and “showstoper” in the crease for a dramatic night time look! and i would also use “a dashing lassie” for a highlight! I want this pallet so bad! 🙂

Stephanie Avatar

I’d use magical mist on the lid and blend the crease out with buckwheat. As a highlight and to blend the edge of the look I would use a dashing lassie.

Cat Avatar

I would use the bronze color in the outter corner, the pink-nude one on the inner corner and middle and the darkest one on the outter corner also just to emphasize the shape of the eye 🙂 these are beautiful colors!

meghan Avatar

i would use the first eye shadow and the middle two. lightest shade as a highlight and the middle one on the top on the lid and the middle bottom in the crease…

Emily Avatar

I’m pretty sure I would end up using all of them because I like to mix colors together rather than just put one on the lid and one on the crease. But I would definitely go for a strong sultry brown look with the most color being in the lash line and fading up with a lighter crease color.

eva marie Avatar

I’ll use Buckhweat as my crease colour, Once Upon a Time as my all over the lid colour and A Dashing Lashie as my highlighter.

By night, i’ll darken the look with showstopper at the outer crease of my eyes. Easy to go Mac eyeshadow palette..

Kate & Zena Avatar

I’d use the top two and the second one in the second row for my first look. The lightest on the inside corner, the middle one in the first row for my lid and the last color in the crease.

Janet Avatar

I’d start with the top middle pink for an all-over color, the bottom left for my crease, the bottom middle for the outer v, the bottom right for my lashline, and the top left for highlight.

Skye Avatar

I’d use the top middle color all over the lid,
the bottom middle in the crease,
the top left as a highlight
and the a little of the right bottom corner for a darker look on the side!

ivette Avatar

I would use magical mist as a lid color, showstopper in the crease to smoke it a little and once upon a time as a highlight and the inner corners 🙂

shaimaa Avatar

I would use the first one from the left in the first row on my lid then under the eye brow i would use third one from the first row
and the third one on the 2nd row to cut my crease and under my eye

😀 love to do this look always in different colours

Sam Avatar

I would love to have a go at “A Dashing Lassie” all over the lid, “Buckwheat” in the crease and outer corner and “Magical Mist” along the lash line (and possibly adding “Once Upon A Time” to the inner corner)!

Kristen Avatar

I would use the top right hand corner colour with the bottom right hand corner colour in the crease – it would be fabulous but still daytime enough to wear to work, I think.

Kristina Avatar

Lid: Bottom middle color
Crease: Bottom right color
Above brow bone for blending: Top right color
Highlight and inner corner: Top middle color
Lower lash line: Bottom right color

Aubri Avatar

I would love to use the creamy white one at the top left for a highlight,
the taupey-brown one at the top right for the lid,
and the dark brown at the bottom right for the crease 🙂

Anika Avatar

I would use the one in the first row in the middle in the inner corner, than the eyeshadow right under the last one all over the lid and finally the darker brown in the crease.
🙂

Jennifer L Avatar

I would use the gold all over the lid, then use the shimmery brown in the crease, the dark brown to darken my outer v and then the top left eyeshadow to highlight!

Fabienne Avatar

I would use “Once Upon a Time” over the lid, “Showstopper” blending in the crease and I would do a brow highlight with “A Dashing Lassie”.

Kind regards

Carina Avatar

I’d use the eyeshadow in the middle of the top row for my lid, and the right eyeshadow of the bottom row for my crease. And then I’d apply some of the left eyeshdow of the top row in my inner corner.
Such gorgeous everyday colors! ♥

Lotte Avatar

For my first look I would use the three colors I marked as 1,2,3 on the image below:

http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8826/reviewtartanlassies006.jpg

If I win this product the first time I would use it would be around christmas time probaly. that’s why I want to make a cold grey/brown smokey eye with cool colors. Color number 1 would go on the browbone as a highlighter. color number 2 would be all over the lid and with color number 3 I would create more depth in the crease and outer V of my eye and connect under the bottom lash line. Finish off with liner and big lashes and I would be all done for a nice christmas dinner!

McKell Avatar

I would use the middle color on the top row for a highlight, then use the first one on the bottom for a lid color and the middle bottom one for the crease. I would use the bottom right one for eyeliner.

Isabella Avatar

The one in the bottom row on the far right all over the lid and the far left one in the upper row on the inner corner and 1/3rd of the lower lashline, and wit black eyeliner on upper lashline

Keerthana Avatar

Bronze & Buckwheat, love those colors. But showstopper is gorgeous too.. maybe I should do two different eyelooks, lol. One eye with bronze &buckwheat and the other one with showstopper & bronze.

Barbara Seidler Avatar

In this set DASHING LASSIES set, I was drawn to the copper color first.

Then I looked at all the colors in the second row, loving all of them!!

Elizabeth Avatar

I would use Bronze all over the eye lid and apply it on the lower lash line as well. Then I would use Buckwheat on the outer V of the eye as well as the outer lower lash line. Last I would take Once Upon a Time and place it on the brow bone and inner corner of the eye.

Charissa Avatar

I would use “A Dashing Lassie” for my hightlite color, then apply “Bronze”on the inner half of my lid, following with “Buckwheat” on the outer half of the lid. Next, I would use “Showstopper” to darken the crease area or outer V area. Lastly, I’d put “Once Upon A Time” and “Magical Mist” on my lower lash line with “Showstopper” near the outer part of the lower lash line to blend together with the top lid.

Christine Avatar

OH MY GOD IM IN LOVE WITH THIS PALETTE!
I love sheer colors. 😀
I’d begin with Magical Mist since I’m slowly getting bored of my dark smokey look…
I want to pair Magical Mist with just a little bit of Showstopper to create a soft, fairy-like look.

nikki Avatar

i would use once upon a time all over the lid, magical mist in the crease, buckwheat in the outer corner, and a teensy weensy bit of showstopper in the veryverycorner for an everyday polished look:]

dannibby526 Avatar

I would use “Magical Mist” on the lid with a base like bare study underneath and then use “showstopper” in the outer V and crease and blend with “A Dashing Lassie”

Gorgeous Palette 🙂

Rachel Slate Avatar

I would use the one on the top in the middle first, then use the middle one on the bottom mid-way to the end of my eyelid, and then the last one on the bottom right for definition in the crease and the outer lid.

Lexee Avatar

I would use the three bottom ones to create a smoky eye. I would use the dark brown for the edges of my eyes, the lighter, shimmery brown for the center of my eyes and the gold for the inside corners of my eyes. I would also use the cream color on the top to highlight under my eye and my brow line.

Shannon Avatar

I would use the top middle and bottom middle first for sure! I keep stopping at my local MAC counter and playing with this set…hopefully my family gets the hint! But just in case, thought I’d try to win, too LOL good luck everyone 🙂

Chrischi Avatar

I would use the one in the top middle all over the lid and the one in the middle in the lower line in the crease. Then the darkest colour to darken the crease/ lid in the outer corner. Either the one in the top left or the one in the top right to higlight.
I’m sorry for my bad english, but I’m from germany.

Greetz!

Louise Avatar

I would use the one in the middle on the bottom on the lid, the dark one next to it in the crease and the rosy one on top in the tear duct and on the browbone and create a pretty daytime look!

Isabella Avatar

I would love to use the center eyeshadow on the second row! I think it’s a beautiful everyday kind of colour (:

New follower! Thanks for writing such wonderful entries! I’m a novice in make up and you really helped me alot by all having all those swatches… Thanks~

Sarah G. Avatar

For a work-appropriate look, I’d use the top middle color on the lid, with the bottom middle color on the outer “v” and into the crease. Then I’d finish with the top left color to highlight on the brow a bit. 🙂

Julie Avatar

Beautiful colors! I’d use the top middle shade as a brow bone highlighter, bottom left bronze shade on inner lid, the bottom middle shade on the outer lid, and the dark brown shade on the bottom left in the crease and as a top/bottom liner.

Brenda Avatar

I’ll create a smokey eye using:
first on the top row as highlight and inner corner,
third on bottom row for my lid up to my crease
& blend both colors with the third on the top row..<3

Addis Fouche-Channer Avatar

The bottom two from the left, definitely. They complement each other very nicely, and they together give a bronzy- angelic look on your eyes.

arjarum Avatar

Those all are my colors, even if I haven’t any of them yet. I’m thinking of buying Bronze, but I haven’t been lucky so far. Still, I’d certainly try Magical Mist with Showstopper first.

Monica Avatar

I’m not sure for the name, but I would use the top middle as a base all over the lid and the one under it for the crease. It would look simple, warm and cute for Thanksgiving 🙂

Andrea Avatar

I would use Once Upon a Time on the inner 2/3 of the lid, then Buckwheat on the outer third blended up into the crease, and Showstopper to darken the outer corner!

Kat Avatar

Hmm, since it’s winter I think I’d use Magical Mist all over the lid, Showstopper in the crease, A Dashing Lassie in the inner corner and Once upon a time on the browbone. And I’d smudge Showstopper into the upper and lower lashlines, but over some sort of pencil liner. Then obviously mascara, though that’s veering away from the question lol.

Ai Avatar

I would use Once Upon A Time all over my lid, Buckwheat in my crease and lower lash line, Showstopper in the outer corner, and A Dashing Lassie as my highlight♥

SaGaRa Avatar

First i apply the constructivist paint pot in the lid.
i would use the top left colour just for highlight in the inner corner,
the middle in the top in the inner corner, the left bottom colour in the lid and in the crease i would use the middle bottom colour. For little more dramy i would add the right bottom colour just in the out part of the crease.
In lower lashes i would use the middle and the right bottom colours, the second one just in the out part.
Finally i would put black eyeliner in the lower lashes and in the waterline.
I think this look would be perfect for going out.

Giosi Avatar

i would use the top middle shadow all over the lid…and the bottom middle color for the crease and outer-v….the darkest color i think i would use to line my eyes =)

veneta Avatar

OMG I would use the golden-bronze one first! It fits perfectly to my christmas mood. =D I would even use this on christmas eve, ’cause I bought a bronze coloured dress, and with this palette it would be the perfect couple! Love it!

Rachel Avatar

For my first look I would start by using Bronze on my lid than for my crease color I would use Buckhweat and for my highlight color I would use Once Upon A Time!

Jessica Avatar

I would find a way to use all 6. haha! I tend to get color happy my first time using a palette. By the second time, I would narrow it down of course!

Britni Rose Avatar

Top center on the outer lid, top left on inner lid, and lower right on the crease with a small cat eye and a bright cranberry lip! Been saving for this palatte! Have it all planned out!

Cathie Avatar

What gorgeous shades, and what a beautiful pallet! On the bottom lid, I’d first try out the bottom center eyeshadow, with the top center shade on the upper brow, with just a touch of the bottom right shade in the creaseline. They’re all just the types of shades that I love to use.
