Since you made the lap of luxery contest I hoped the best of breed gloss will come also… It’s sooo beautiful! I would pair it with a pink or violet blush. ♥

I’ve been liking cream blush for fall, and I think that Covergirl/Olay Simply Ageless cream blush in Royal Plum would be great with these. It’s not a bad drugstore product.

I think I would pair the lip glass with the new Briar Rose beauty powder from VV. I LOVE this lipglass, I didn’t buy anything from this collection so I could buy from VV.

Also my twitter is Thephoenixx

Hey Temptalia! I would probably pair my favourite blush with the Best of Breed Lipglass: The Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Pink Love (109)! I just love it!

Ooo. That lipgloss would look gorgeous with a peachy hued blush like NARS Orgasm or Milani’s Mai Tai – it would definitely bring out the blue tones in the gloss.

Julia Avatar

I think I’d pair it with NARS Exhibit A – it’d be a pretty frostbite-red cheek and lip gloss that’s totally on the other side of the color spectrum 😀

To match the cooler tones of the lipglasses, I would probably wear a light application of Chanel Pink Explosion or Nars Angelika if I want to be playful with glitter.

Petra Avatar

I’d pear it with some peachy eyes and blush, to warm it up a bit, and because I like the look of blue with peach. Even though I know it’s almost transparent, but I think it’s still visibly “cool toned”.

Ooh… that lipglass looks much like something I’d wear. I’d choose either my Clarins cream blush in Raspberry to go with this, or my Lise Watier powder blush in Eclat Mat (cool pinks). Both would work equally well, although the Clarins blush needs to be used with a light hand and lots of buffing to make it look natural.

Thank you for the giveaway, Christine!

I think that you can wear any makeup with this lipglass, from dark to light. I would personally do a light smokey eye, maybe very light blue on the lid and white under the brown bone, then I would make my lips bright red (maybe Russian Red) and put the Best of Breed on top of the lipstick. This way it would have a bluish sheen. Thanks.

It’s a curious blue lipglass, I would use a rose blush with blue or mauve subtone. Some alternatives are Coygirl, Breath of Plum or Well Dressed, from MAC.

I have this discontinued blush from Lancome called Rose Fresque. It’s a cool mauve pink, so gorgeous on the lips. This blush and some slate grey/blue liner and this gloss will look stunning!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

probably something plummy? although im not entirely sure that combo would look nice it looks like a lipgloss meant for layering. i would have to try some options out 🙂

Shannon Avatar

I would pair this with something that’s more cool toned pink and maybe not TOO bright I think? Or perhaps a neutral slightly warm pink. the lipglass shade seems rather muted, so i wouldn’t go for a really bright blush!

I love this gloss layered over a pale pink lipstick like Revlon’s Primrose to turn it slightly lavender-ish & then wear the Pet Me mineralize blush from the Fabulous Felines collection. So 60’s pretty together & Best of Breed has fab shimmer! Thanks for the give away!

I think the bluish-gray tones in the gloss would look great paired with MAC Dame blush on fair-skinned ladies. For medium and darker skin, I think Dame with Rose shimmerbrick from Bobbi Brown layered over it would create a really pretty, bright cool pink shimmery cheek.
