I actually bought a few things at MAC yesterday because the night before I was looking at some of your tutorials and the brush reviews you had a while back and I can never get the 239 out of my head and how you said it was one of the best brushes to have and especially how you can pretty much do anything with it to the eye. I also went home with the 217 and the 187 and a whole lot of other much needed mac shop therapy, but because of your great reviews I know it wasn’t just a wild shopping spree I will later regret. I always check our your swatches before I go to MAC for any new collections and what you say is a must have is pretty much always on par with what I love in products and colors.
Temptalia influences my MAC purchases SO much. I used to run right out and buy what I thought were the perfect colors for me, only to get them home and find, sadly, that this wasn’t the case. The swatches on Temptalia usually influence whether or not I purchase something from a MAC collection. Back in February, I wasn’t planning on getting anything from the Hello Kitty collection; but after looking all the swatches, I ended up getting two lipglasses, a lipstick, and a tinted lip conditioner. Same thing happened with Colour Craft. lol. I love looking at the swatches then going to MAC to take a look at everything myself.

My last beauty purchase was because I won two $5 GCs for N.Y.C. I perused MakeUp Alley, which led me to pick up a blush, some nail polish, and a mosaic face brightener (not unlike MAC MSF). I love love love all 3, especially the polish — I did my toes almost 3 weeks ago and there’s not one single chip. A great drugstore find!

Temptalia makes me want to buy everything! The reviews are extremely helpful and helps me decide if I want to purchase the item i’ve been thinking about buying. For example, MAC recently launched Colour Craft. At first, I wasn’t planning on getting anything but MSFs from that collection. I thought I was going to get all the MSFs, but after seeing swatches and reviews, I was sold on Warm Blend MSF. It’s the perfect bronzer for my NC37 skintone. Temptalia helped me save money, too 😉

Sometimes I would dismiss a colour just by looking at it on screen from the preview pictures, but after your reviews and swatches I would go to the store/counter and check out the colour and end up liking and buying it.

What hasn’t Temptailia influenced me to buy is more like the question! Temptalia is my GO-TO resource for making my shopping lists for MAC Launches, deciding what collections to skip or haul out, and set a firm mindset for what I would like to purchase BEFORE going to the counter or store. Temptalia has also made me want to venture out into new product brands (NARS, and Illamasqua- YAY for it coming to the US!) and get a more varied beauty kit. Temptalia made me (haha) purchase a lot of things actually, like the Urban Decay Ink for Eyes in Zero, the MAC 189 and China Glaze in Thunderbird. I really like the products, but before I buy something, I want to know if it’s good, and Temptalia is really helpfull for that (and many other things ofcourse ;))

I definitely get influenced as to weather or not I want to purchase or not purchase something via your swatches/reviews. The nearest Sephora, MAC, Nordstroms, etc is about 2 and a half hours away so it’s nice to have this as a guide as to weather or not I should take the time to go check certain things out in person before buying or if I can just go ahead and order online. I love MAC products because it soothes the tone of my skin.
I didn’t had any skin problem compared to other products.

Yes, Temptalia has definitely effected my decision to purchase in the past. Although many do not like MAC SE brush sets, I purchased one b/c it was a great way to familiarize myself w/ their brushes. I also bought Love Alert Dazzleglass. The swatches & reviews are really helpful. Also, having the information about a launch in advance, gives me enough time to save up or plan better for purchases!

YESS!! Temptalia temped me into purchasing products from the MAC collections. I made my style warriors pruchase based on Temptalia’s recommendations and I really like what I got! I purchased the Brave new bronze lipstick and Liberated lipgloss. They are my favourite lip products in my collection.
Most importantly, I purchased my MAC brushes based on reviews on here. So far I have 217, 187, 182, and 224. These are brushes that got really good reviews by temptalia.
Temptalia review on the mac 187 brush got me to purchase the mac 188 instead. Thanks to her review, she saved me 8 dollars! I also love knowing mac’s collection before. i loove it :):)

Gosh … what have you not influenced me? You are my MAC guru. I do not purchase anything from MAC without first checking on your site on swatches & reviews. Unfortunately, we are of two completely different complexion and features, so often times, if something looks good on you, I know it is too warm for me.
