Of all the shadows, I like Bossa Blue the best because it seems to apply like a neutral. I’d probably use it as a crease and outer corner colour, with a more flesh toned shadow on the rest of the lid and Stila Starlight on the inner 1/3.

Laurie Avatar

I pretty much use 2-3 shades from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. In the past, I used to also only wear no makeup makeup period, like, Boy by Chanel was my go to lip. Barely there lipstick, just pinky nudes and tinted lip balms. Now I have bright pinks and blue-reds and plums I like playing with. If I won, it would be fun to start experimenting with bolder eye looks. Of course, I’d probably adhere to the lips OR eyes rules! I still have plenty of subtle lip looks I can pair these bold eye shadows with.

Jessica Avatar

I would draw a thin line of Bossa Blue above my eyes, line with a black liquid eyeliner and finish with lots of mascara and a nude lip!

Surabhi Avatar

I would wear one of the lighter shade with a matte neutral shadow in the crease during the day or the darker colours as smoky eye for the evening.

Heather W. Avatar

I’d wear Tropica as a sheer wash with deep bronzed winged liner, a bronzed and hilighted face, and a pop of sheer, bright coral/pink gloss.

SarahE Avatar

I’d create a smokey eye with bossa blue as I love the color when mixed ; then I’d line the bottom lid with the blue only; a nice pair of falsies and I’m done! 🙂

Heather USA (Rafflecopter: Rosie Areola) Avatar

Caribbean on the lid
cha-cha-cha and bossa blue in the crease
bossa blue on the lower lash line
dare to bare for inner corner and brow highlight.

Quinn Avatar

A wash of colour across the lid in Time To Tango, a highlighting sweep of Dare to Bare, natural skin and a pink pop of colour on the lips. Perfect!

Jen Avatar

Bossa blue all over lid and line with the blue veining part, add rio skinfinish on cheeks with a peachy nude lipstick and subculture lipliner!

Lindsay Siegel Avatar

Since each different eye shadow has a mixture of colors I think mixing them all on the lid would be a unique but fun look.

Valerie Avatar

I would wear dare to bare all over my lid with beautiful winged classic eyeliner for a beautiful daytime look with mac angel lipglass and lipstick and with benefits coralista blush.

Norah Avatar

Hard to choose just one 🙂
I would wear time to tango all over the lid with a winged black liner and a thin gold liner over it

Ilka Avatar

I like Bossa Blue and Cha Cha the best because they seem to apply like a neutral. I’d probably use them as a crease and outer corner colours, with a more flesh toned shadow on the rest of the lid.

Honestly I have never tried M.A.C but I have heard wonderful things about their shadows and pigments.
Take Care- Sincerely, Amber

I would wear caribbean over the lid area and lightly as a crease color. I would blend it with a warm mat brown for added intensity in the crease. i would use dare to bare on the center of the lid and in the inner corner of the eyes.

Kayla Avatar

I don’t own EVEN ONE MAC makeup product so I’d wear it proudly number one, but also I’d love to wear the Dare to Bare as a pretty highlight/blush.

Ralitza Avatar

I would love to use all of them. But I think I would wear Bossa Blue with a nude lip and a lop of mascara, or I will go a step further and wear it with a coral lip for the summer. 🙂

Shanice Avatar

I would wear Tropica eyeshadow with maxi dress in turquoise ! perfect for summery eyes 🙂
the purple colur at the crease and the blue colour at the lid ! also add a bit of soft pink blush and finish with a coral pink lipstick !

Sam Avatar

I’d wear Tropica on the lid over Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy with Mac Stars n Rockets in the crease, Mac Pink Freeze on the browbone and inner corners and Raincheck? from the Benefit World’s Sexiest Neutrals Collection in the outer V!

Sneha Surendran Avatar

I would love to try the orange and darker blue shades since I have olive skin and these should pop against my skin tone! The lighter colors would most likely work as a highlighter for me.. Also, I have not tried any of the MAC baked eyeshadows yet.. So it ll be exciting to try and review them on my blog.. Thanks for the giveaway Temptalia..

sharon Avatar

I would wear caribbean on the outer corner, with an intense gold like UD Baked on the lid and use a black to smoke out the lash line with lots of mascara.

Anka Trinka Avatar

I would wear bossa blue all over the lid and blendet out for a kind of smokey eye with dare to bare as an inner corner highlight and soft lips

Donna Avatar

I would love to experiment with all the shades, but the first one I’d use would be Tropica. I’d wear it as a wash with MAC Snow Shadow Pro Longwear liner, MAC Stay Sweet Lipglass, and MAC Star Wonder Mineralize Skinfinish as blush.

Pat Abiog Avatar

I would love to use Dare to Bare as a lid wash and highlighter. I think Time to Tango would be good in the inner lid and Tropica for the crease. Highlight that outer ‘v’ of the crease with Cha-Cha-Cha!

Lena N. Avatar

Mac Cha-cha-cha for a smokey eye, Harmony or something pinky-neutral on the cheeks and Force of love on the lips for a night out 🙂

Melissa Avatar

I’d wear this beauties just as a soft wash of color on my lids – also I’d just happily gaze upon their beauty in the pan!

Kayvid Avatar

I would use Tropica as an all over eyeshadow and line it with a liquid eyeliner and create strong lashes while I keep rest of my makeup neutral

Niki T. Avatar

Dare to Bare – For a fresh, light look I would apply Dare to Bare damp across the lid w/ Urban Decay Verve as a highlighter and Urban Decay Suspect in the crease.

Abbi Avatar

I LOVE the dare to bare caribbean, I would wear either of those on the eyes with some black liquid eyeliner and a ton of black mascara, a nude gloss and a blush like tarte’s babydoll. Keep it simple and fresh.

Kate L Avatar

I think Time To Tango and Bossa Blue would become my new daily shadows! The whole collection is lovely, but those two would look great on my baby blues!

Ines Avatar

Caribbean is gorgeous… It’s just perfect for a Summer look, with some bronzer and a soft blush to bring out the healthiness of the skin 🙂

Irina Dryukov Avatar

I would wear Dare To Bare as a highlight in the inner corner and under the brow, Tropica all over the lid, anc Cha-Cha-Cha in the crease,

annamaria kyriazis Avatar

i would love to wear these color in combo of smokey eye look or just way out winged look. i dont own one piece of mac products but ive heard they are great but too expensive.

Rachel Avatar

I would love to wear Time to Tango toward the inside of my lid and crease, with light hints of Caribbean on the outside of my lid and along the lower lash line. Along with winged eyeliner and mascara 🙂

stefanie Avatar

oooh la la i would wear “Bossa Blue”, i would wear like a smokey look, pick up a lil’ blue on my lid and put the gorgeous brown in my crease! And to be extra girly i would wear my favorite bright pink lipstick, b/c i love bold colors! :o)

Elena Toader Avatar

I’d wear MAC Cha-Cha-Cha Mineralize Eyeshadow to create a daytime appropriate smoky eye and I’d add a peach blush and lipstick

Kinga Avatar

I would wear Tropica on my lid, Cha Cha on my outer crease and Dare to Bare as my highlight and as my inner corner highlight as well.

Nines Avatar

I would definitely try some experimenting with them all. I (similarly to you) don’t have the best of luck with the mineralize shadows, but sometimes the look of the darker, bright colored ones can be quite fun and dramatic ~ and if I’m just going out for a short time (maybe want to get a little dressed up for a movie or something!) =D I might try and get away with wearing some of those brighter colors for a short while. Hopefully that would minimize the issues with wear time, etc. since I wouldn’t be planning on wearing them long! =) Also, colors like ‘Dare to Bare’ are quite pretty, and would probably do well as a highlighting color in the corner of the eye ~ or maybe on the arch of the brow if applied dry. Or as a shimmery pale/neutral base to get things started before applying other fun colors on top.
Thx for the opportunity Christine! It’s appreciated, as always!! =)
