We have different places on the web that we want to promote or encourage participation, and giveaways are one way to do both. If you don’t want to participate, that is your choice, but in the end, Twitter is free, and it’s an avenue we really enjoy to interact with readers, ask questions, and get to know readers better. We have contests regularly for blog readers, YouTube subscribers, and Twitter followers. It’s about offering something for everyone.
