Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Highlighter 01…it’s called Matte, but also Radiance, so I’m not sure what that finish is considered to be, but in any case, it’s beautiful!

I love the formulas that give me a natural luminosity /glow from within. My favourite liquid formulas: CT Hollywood Flawless Filter, Lisa Eldridge The Elevated Glow Highlighter. For powder formulas: Chanel – Rêve de Camélia Illuminating Powder.
I love a really shimmery multi- or duo- chrome.
I’m not a fan of highlighters in general (for me). My favorite “finish” is actually using a illuminating powder as highlighter, something satin, with barely there shimmers.
Baked Gelee! As Tarababyz would say. Or as you put it, I definitely prefer a refined glow as opposed to sparkle-kitty glitter, that’s for sure!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter (is that even the name?? It’s been sooooooooo many years since they discontinued it) Liquid in Pearl.
It’s 100% light in the form of a colorless sheen so it always matches all makeup looks and types. There are no individual speckles or sparkles, the formula is comfortable (many companies cheap out and use liquid plastic (polyethylene) which creates a suffocating layer on my skin much like silicones, but without the breakouts), the amount was generous as hell, and it plays well with everything I do.
If I reach for a powder it’s MAC double-gleam. For exactly the same reasons except in powder form.
As highlighter I use MAC Naked Lunch eyeshadow….might be a pearl? Or satin? Not sure, it’s just the perfect understated highlighter for me.
Not a highlighter wearer, but if I was the finish would be a soft satin sheen.
Ditto and the Haas ones you’re showing are such the example. It I didn’t have any highlighters, I’d go there.
