What's your favorite concealer for concealing under-eye circles/bags?

What’s your favorite concealer for concealing under-eye circles/bags? What do you use to apply it?

I like Eve Pearl’s Salmon Concealer or theBalm’s Time Balm – I like the 217 brush.

I am still on the search for the perfect shade and brand. But currently I use the Beyond Natural concealer by Revlon in Medium (?)(or the brown one for AA women).

I like “The MakeUp Concealer” from Shiseido best, as its 01 is the perfect color for my skin, but they do not sell it in Europe anymore. *nervousbreakdown*

i’m using the time balm now, and i can’t say i like it — i think it dried out a bit so it catches every line and makes me look all papery — and this is despite the fact that i take care to shut it really tightly ):

The best concealer I have found so far is (By Terry – Touch veloutée), it gives me excellent couverage and the texture is just AMAZING! It’s kind of pricey (30 Euros here in France which is about 40$) but it’s worth every penny for the amount of product and quality you get! It will last you a long LONG time!

Usually I just use a bit of my tinted moisturizer (laura mercier). If my circles are a bit darker than usual, I’ll use the mac select moisturecover or the bobbi brown tinted eye brightener. Love them both!

I’m all about MAC ProLongwear concealer right now – I was using MoistureCover before, but I think ProLongwear gives me just a bit more covereage and it lasts forever.

I use a 224 to apply it.

I will be checking back on this… I have like 4 concealers but I am finding that (at 25) they are all settling into the fine lines under my eyes! I’ve used my finger and like 3 different brushes… nothing has worked for me. I have the Laura Mercier concealer in shade 3, a covergirl stick, and the loreal 3 in 1 concealer in a tube

Mac Select Moisturecover! I first use my fingers and then Mac 224 brush to blend it in. By the way, is it true that it’s going to be discontinued? I hope not!

Bobbi Brown corrector & concealor…swear by it!! this is coming from a mom of a 1 year old who works full time in addition to having prob THE worst dark circles always!! but with BB corrector & concealor, i can fool everyone!

Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer. I’m not a huge fan of the rest of her line, but she knocked one out with this stuff!

I have those looks like I got punched in both eyes kind of dark circles and not only does this stuff hide them, it stays on through nights working in a hot restaurant kitchen, AND doesn’t settle into my almost-wrinkles.

ohh and a little goes such a long way! I’ve had the same tube for a year!

For real, if yall haven’t tried it, TRY IT!

I have really, really, really deep purple circles under my eyes… half due to genetics and half due to the fact that I’m so pale I practically glow in the dark.

My mom uses YSL Anti-Cernes in Pink Beige and I find that although it doesn’t make my circles disappear, it does drastically reduce them. And that’s good enough for me 😀

I’m still experimenting since my dark circle are VERY dark blue due to my lack of pigmentation all over.

I used to use Amazing Concealer but the product is very heavy (need to blend with a moisturizer) and hard to blend out. It also doesn’t play wall with powder foundation. The Plus side is that the shade matched by skin tone which is impossible to find in traditional brands.

I’m currently using pro long wear concealer in NC15 but seeing if I can build it up in the troubled areas around my tear duct and down. I dose however have a natural finish and works well with liquid and powder foundations. If I blend it out along the edge I can wear this on it’s own with a face power.

The Yaby liquid foundation in apricot – corrector is great for those that are MAC 20 shades and up to correct your dark bluish circles first before applying foundations and a flesh tone concealer.
I unfortunately being NC10 to NC05 (yes at the end of winter after 5 months of no direct sun exposure) it hard to blend this out to my skin tone in it current shade without leaving a very peach cast in that area.

I really like Glo Minerals. They have a two color cream concealer in a pot. One is salmony, and the other is whitish. Both press into the eye area really well. Very creamy.

I think I might try out the TimeBalm but do you think it’s too think for under eye circles? I’m currently using Maybelline’s Dream Mousse Concealer.

I’m in love with Covergirl’s Ageless correcting concealer, even though I have no aging concerns. It’s really creamy, has Olay eye cream swirled right in, it never cakes or settles into my lower crease, and it covers seamlessly.

The regular concealers are too pink for my warm, fair skintone, but the yellow corrector actually looks pretty natural on me without anything else over it. I just use my fingers to pat in on (over an oil-free primer).

MAC Prolongwear Concealer has been working pretty well for me. It’s got a bit of color correcting in it, good for redness in the skin too. Plus I like that it’s thin.

Christy Avatar

I second MAC Prolongwear! I got a sample of it about a month ago and it has lasted me since then. A teeny tiny amount applied and blended with a MAC 217 brush works beautifully for me. I have used MAC Select Cover-Up before, which is a similar formula but it isn’t as pigmented. The MAC Studio Finish Concealer is too thick and creamy for me to use under the eyes and it will inevitably result in racoon eyes at the end of the day with migrating eyeliner and mascara.

Mary Avatar

I’m currently using MAC Studio Finish with a 224 brush or Eve Pearl in Light. I find though that the Eve Pearl concealer does nothing to brighten my undereye. I really loved Prescriptives Camouflage Cream.

Leenie Avatar

I’m in love with Eve Pearl concealer my favorite, but I still want to try Kevyn Aucoin concealer, maybe one day I’ll splurge on myself and shell out the big bucks on his concealer.

Ana Krum Avatar

I have huge dark circles and the best one I have ever tried is NYX Concealer in a Jar. They say it’s similar to MAC’s Studio Finish, but that one I have never used, since they don’t sell my color (NW15) where I live. One day I will see if they are dupes, though.

I’ve tried Benefit Boing, NARS Concealer Stick, MAC Studio Finish Concealer, and the Bobbi Brown Corrector along with the Concealer Kit (comes with yellow powder to set) and I can say the Bobbi Brown products have completely knocked it out of the park for me. They are so great! Sometimes I use the Corrector alone, as it is very brightening and has a decent amount of coverage.
As for the others I’d rate them as such: MAC Studio Finish, NARS Concealer Stick, and lastly Benefit Boing (I loved Boing for so long then realized it settled into my creases throughout the day – not hot)

I love the make up forever full cover concealer why?
1)It’s water proof
2)Full coverage
3)You only need a tiny bit and it works wonders in hiding tattoos, stretch marks and acne scaring <3 my HG
