Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I’ve been sticking to the same eye look for months. It’s not very bold, just a nice goes-with-everything neutral using MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork, MAC Shale eyeshadow, and either UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Mushroom or Haus Labs Deep Bronze Shimmer Optic Intensity Eye Pencil. I’ve been thinking about trying a bolder look using the Dior 5 Couleurs Palette in Tutu, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I don’t know if it counts as bold, but I do love a smoky eye. It doesn’t really matter the color although traditional black/grey works, but so does brown or plum.

I’m kind of stuck in the past as I don’t go for bright colors in my eye makeup….My favorite go to bold eye is a very taupe shades smokey eye with a metallic taupe in the center of the lid for pizzaz….or eggplant shades or grays are good too….then smoked out pencil/gel eyeliner in black very subtle…..

I also don’t really do colourful or bold eye looks. Neutrals are really my preferred look; using a bright teal eyeshadow or pencil (like the ones UD used to do so well – Deep End, Plunge, Double Dip) under my lower lashes or sometimes on my upper lash line as well – that’s about as “colourful” as I usually get.

Seeing as I have many colourful eye palettes in my stash, I do like to create a colourful eye or two.
A couple of favourites: Using the PMG Decadence palette – Gold Standard, Sinful and Inferno – with a touch of Lapis Luxury
Temptalia x SG On the Horizon – Heart Dog, Magellan’s Light, Phoenix Awakens, with a touch of Flying High
Lorac’s Fairytale Forest: Komorebi, Grove, Enchanted with Evergreen or Wildflower
Stila In the Garden: Chinos, Nectar Honey, Sage, Breeze Bark
