The joy of applying mascara!
This is probably the part of my makeup routine that I like least. I’ve been using mascara for decades and I still struggle with keeping it from getting on my skin before it dries. Lol!
With aging very hooded eyes, I get a sense of victory when I manage not to end up with mascara everywhere. Never boring.
Eyeshadow without a doubt! I love trying out combinations and colors I would not ordinarily choose when I’m just going to the market or such. Some hits some misses but never boring! Sometimes I get surprised and have a new fave!
Ditto! Color is what it’s all about and the more colors the merrier I am.
That moment when I’m looking into the mirror once everything has been put into place just right!
Also, doing a more interesting, yet still outside-of-house wearable eye look!
Applying complexion products is the longest step in my routine… but it sure never bores me.
I love applying it all but if I had to pick- eye shadow then lipstick
Skin prep and eye makeup!
I also love playing with eyeshadow (although I’m constantly nervous to try bold/dark/super colorful looks because I’m terrible at blending! I enjoy choosing a lipstick color as well.
Lining my eyes. Some mornings it’s a liner, the next maybe a dampened tight line brush to use on a great shadow. I just love lining my eyes 🤍 and putting on lipstick, straight out of the tube 🤍
