I’m into the whole “mannequin hands” right now, so i’m wearing OPI Samoan Sand, and matte top coat.
Sally Hansen’s Salon Manicure in Pat on the Black or something. Not a fan. I don’t like the brush that comes with it.
Opi Alcatraz rocks !!
L’oreal – Diamond in the rough!! Absolutely gorgeous!
Nothing on nails. But Essie trophy wife on nails.
OPI Bastille My Heart!
X Factor’s Illusionary. I so loooove all X Factor polishes I’ve tried. Only polish that can hold up to my nail abuse. 🙂
Oops, I meant Formula X….
NOTHING!!!! I got over my nail polish addiction because I didn’t want my nails to yellow and purchase different kinds of coats to protect it and etc… So now I can just spend tons of money on eyeshadow and lippies instead, haha
NARS Purple Rain
The Skin Food’s Nail Vita in Orange topped with The Face Shop glitter (all korean cosmetics ^^)
Chanel Le Vernis in Provocation. 🙂
I have a holo glitter on that I made! I mixed some old eye shadow pigments into it!
Cult Nails Mayhem!
Just put on Essie She’s Pampered.
Um…my teeth. 😮
Ha!
Nail polish . Duh
I’m road-testing a couple of new Revlon polishes! Loving them so far – it took me a while to try Revlon’s nail lacquers, but I’m glad I did!
Astor – Play the Graffiti over an orange creme from Catrice and I love it! It does look a little bit like a Halloween manicure, but I don’t really mind 😀
My super-chipped and grown-out Christmas Eve mani. Seriously. SO LAZY.
I haven’t worn nail polish since my wedding in 2011. My nails are so weak that everytime I try it chips within two days (with base and top coat), and I always end up with horribly broken nails. Nothing has helped so far, any suggestions?
Ryou,
I have this same problem. I would get acrylics put on for a long time. Finally my nails are long enough to be without the tips. My manicurist puts on the acrylic powder and the other stuff (no idea what it is called) on my nails to keep them strong and not breaking. Works for me. I am also rough on my hands (work in a doctor’s office, so constantly washing) and paint my nails on average twice a week. Hope this helps!
try taking some magnesium citrate supplements. weak nails can be a sign of magensium deficiency, which can also cause other health issues over time
Thank you for the suggestion, @Kellly. I take magnesium on a fairly regular basis since I have acid reflux. My nails have been really thin and bendable for as long as I remember, though. :/
Hey! Have you tried Quimica Alemana nail hardener? I’ve been using for several weeks and I’m in LOVE with this!
A England Dragon – perfect colour and formula. Though half an hour ago I had a Essie Smooth Sailing + Shine of the Times + Matte About You, which is an amazing combination. Actually anything looks good with Shine of the Times.
Oh, and of course Seche Vite.
Chanel Spring 2014 Charivari
Look forward to your review! I’m wearing Chanel Paparazzi – wore it with this dress and purple tights on Saturday night, and it looked fab!

On my fingers, OPI Mrs. O’Leary’s BBQ and on my toes, Bastille My Heart (also OPI).
One hand is bare, the other has got quick swatches of 5 new polishes I bought yesterday. Butter London Fairy Cake and the 4 OPI/Gwen Stefani minis.
Sally Hansen sugar shimmer in Sugar Cloud.
A matte silver grey O.P.I. polish from the Sparkleicious collection I got for Christmas.
Got the Sephora X Wham! on its own.Trying to get back into doing my nails, slacked for a month or so, wanted something easy to maintain.
essie masterplan
UD Meltdown with China Glaze Skyscraper.
China glaze Ruby pumps
I am wearing Jamaica Me Crazy by Essie. It’s a shimmery purple color.
Nothing right now, but Chanel Paparazzi is up next!
Illamasqua Raindrops 🙂
OPI Funny Bunny. I love those sheer off whites for my hands,
My answer is always so boring: OPI La Paz-itively Hot. It’s been my trademark color for at least eight years, probably longer. I think it’s the perfect blue base hot pink.
I currently have “Baby Please Come Home” from the OPI Mariah Carey 2013 holiday collection.
Ohh, Christine, I can’t wait to get my hands on the Essie Spring collection! I like the resort one as well.
MAC Rebel, matches my lipstick.
Zoya Jules. I love this color! It’s a perfect champagne, sparkly nude for me.
On fingernails, Essie No More Film, probably in my top 5 favorite polishes of all time. On my toenails, Zoya Pandora.
I’m wearing Zoya Wednesday as a base. My nails all have iridescent green and iridescent white glitter on them. My accent nail has silver holographic glitter. I love getting a mani done by someone who loves glitter and nail art 🙂
Oooh, sounds pretty!
Zoya Rue on the bottom half of my nails with Zoya Brigitte on the upper half
chanel mistral(matches my current fave lipstick-NYX soft matte lip cream in Tokyo)
Zoya Dahlia. It’s the black Pixie Dust one and it’s so daytime rock and roll! Plus the formula dries so fast, it’s definitely my new go-to polish.
American Apparels Mount Royal and a bit of nail art in Zoya Dove. I like how it looks but the AA shade chipped on my thumb the day I painted it! Nothing chips on me usually and I’m sick in bed so I have no idea how it happened. I can’t wait to see the Essie shade you’re testing!
Illamasqua Raindrops!! Love it.
Essie Smokin’ Hot
I’m just getting into stamping, so I have a Sally Hansen creme teal base, and gold glitter gradient on all nails but my ring accents– which I’ve stamped in a metallic golden floral tapestry pattern. They’re so pretty! And way easier than I expected to do.
(Sorry if I double posted, my browser hiccupped!)
I think it’s Illamasqua fragile! The blue speckled one because it’s aaaaaalmost spring in Vancouver 😀
“I Sing In Color” from the OPI Gwen Stefani collection
Julep Love – and coincidentally I just painted my nails about 10 minutes ago.
I just got that one in my Maven box! I haven’t worn it yet though, other than a quick swatch just to see how opaque it was. What do you think?
Me too…..just received my Maven box…love the LOVE shade!!!! Just wonder if you put a top coat over it it won’t feel so much like sandpaper????
Covergirl Bombshell. Bright pink with silver shimmer! Going to do and accent nail or nail art later on today. It’s February…I have Valentine’s day and my anniversary this month, so all red and pink all month!
I’m really loving Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Dragon Fruit. It’s a really gorgeous blue-based pink that my mom picked up for me in London, which I never would have chosen for myself. I tend to go for warmer pinks, but this one is awesome!
Ciatè Ivory Queen paint pot and Comic Strip matte glitter polish. Both are so beautiful!
On my fingers – Rue, from Zoya’s new Naturel Collection, a muted greyed mauve-pink. On my toes – Got the Blues for Red from OPI, a cool-toned deep red.
An Orly teal cream (can’t remember the name, just got it on clearance at Ulta) topped by Girly Bits Cosmic Ocean.
I have been all into pink lately so I’ve got an opalescent white/pink vintage Revlon color, Pink Light, on them
Galathee-Nars
A Chanel red.
Chanel’s Vertigo topped with Essie’s No Chips Ahead and Good To Go.
Julep in Judi – a deep violet/plum cream. I love Julep’s formula, and the design of the bottle/cap/brush makes it so much easier for me to apply nail color neatly.
OPI Gel Funny Bunny, 3 coats. It gives a beautiful mostly opaque white effect without looking like whiteout! I love it and can usually hold it on for 4 weeks (I don’t care about grow-out and I file them down with the polish on if/when they need it). I’m super fair and the pinker nude polishes (Bubble Bath, Ballet Slippers) tend to wash out my hands. Hmmm, that sounds kind of stupid, actually. I think it’s more that the contrast of the white is more flattering than the pinky-nude.
OPI “Just Spotted the Lizard”
I’m not sure on the brand but I have a bright yellow base with Illamasqua’s Swarm (clear polish with black glitter) on top. Had a customer grab my hand for a closer look today!
Zoya Sailor! The perfect midnight blue 🙂
Essie bikini so teeny
Butter London Nail Foundation, OPI Yes…I Can-Can, and Butter London Hardwear PD Quick Topcoat.
I have OPI Alpine Snow with OPI Which is Witch over the top. Very pretty!
RBL Recycle
OPI Designer Series in Classic. I’m not an OPI fan i usually prefer Sally but i couldn’t resist the color. However gels are the way to go.
Flowers in her hair by Deborah Lippmann
Charcoal grey polish from Marc Jacobs
I wanted to choose something I haven’t worn in a long time, so I picked
Zoya Faye from their Summer Sunshine 2011 Collection which are all loaded with the prettiest superfine glass-fleck micro-sparkles that just glow.
I’m wearing KIKO 14 from the mirror collection. It’s a metal turquoise.
