We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Lots… Pinkie is OPI My Silk Tie with matte top coat, ring is Sinful Colors Mint Candy Apple, and the rest of my fingers are OPI Cement the Deal topped with Julep Tilda (and shiny top coat). I like this manicure a surprising amount.

Wearing off Opi nail envy! 😀 It’s so lovely…( that is in a very sarcastic tone). Ulta trip planed this weekend or Monday squeeze in if I must. I am hoping to pick up some new OPI shades that make me want to actually paint my own nails! I didn’t see any sails in the flyer though and nail polish is generally something that I have too mush of and use too little of that I can’t warrant paying full OPI price. Everything chips off in a day!

Zoya Perrie topped with A England Hurt No Loving Thing (adds a subtle pearly lilac shimmer). I’m completely in love with this combo though it’s more “girly” than I usually go for.

Love, Angeline Playing with Pearls as a base, WetNWild Fergie Going Platinum and Color Club Million Dollar Listing as a metallic gradient on tips, and stamped w/Mundo de Eunas Wine via Marianne Nails plate No 81. (a little longer than perhaps you expected?:-)

Emily de Molly Maddy’s Magenta and Girly Bits Flowers in Your Hair. I hardly buy mainstream polishes now and definitely no high end ones. Indies all the way for me!

Essie Suit Retreat from the summer 2015 collection and Glisten & Glow on ring fingers. I’m happy to report the Essie summer 2015 polishes are a much better formula than their Cashmere Matts which chipped quickly.

Currently wearing OCC “Echo!” I am in love with this polish because it’s opaque and ultra shiny in one coat and wears quite well. The OCC polishes never disappoint me. 🙂

Nothing. I’ve damaged my nail beds and now my nails are very thin, ridged, and split. I love beautiful nails and am open to suggestions. I do take vitamins and extra D, B12, and omega 3 & 6.I also drink a nutrient packed homemade smoothie daily. This problem has been getting worse over the years. I do massage oil into my cuticle.

One suggestion–OPI Nail Envy really helped my thin/soft/splitting nails and my sister’s brittle/ridged/breaking nails. I wore it as a basecoat under regular manicures (alternating the matte and regular formulas), but it comes in several other varieties as well to address specific needs. It worked great as a basecoat but won’t prevent staining from some of the more notorious pigments (like teal), so you may need to put a real basecoat over the nail envy and under the polish for known stainers.

Givenchy Bronze Insense!! I shouldn’t have but I TOTALLY TREATED MYSELF and ordered it online a few days after I’d tested it at a Sephora to make myself feel glamorous and special… until it wore off at least. But to be honest, I was SO very impressed with the brush, application, of course the unique color (it looks more like a silver/cool bronze,) it dries extremely fast, it’s awesome, and the fact that it really wore well even after my super hasty in-store 1 coat! I have several Dior polishes, both shimmer and not, but this wore SO much better, so well that I was REALLY shocked. I just HAD to have it! I LOVE IT!! And you truly only need ONE COAT! So that helps justify the cost 🙂 I’m going to get more from Givenchy, hopefully! <3
