Tom Ford Escapade and Pink Haze Cream Colors on eyes, Tom Ford Lovelust blush, Bobbi Brown Pink Sequin lipgloss. I seriously could use those every day, but as is, it’s my go-to for when we’re heading out for a dinner date after I’ve finished testing other stuff for the day. I’m totally obsessed with the two Tom Ford Cream Colors from summer, though. They’re magical.

Just curious Christine, what’s your technique for applying pink haze and what brush do u use? It’s a beautiful color, but I have oily lids and it creases every time I wear it.
I use MAC 249 and apply directly to lid (no base). I have normal-to-dry lids!
Christine what is your go to mascara and foundation for July out of curiosity? :o)
It’s really whatever is on my counter – I don’t have a go-to for either.

Normal daily make up for me means a full face. But I have actually gone all of July so far with nothing more than my brows done, & 2 coats of mascara. And to be honest, it has been very refreshing for a change. I’ve really enjoyed it! 🙂
I have been minimal with makeup, so I just use Mac blush dollymix lightly, and lip liner, Mac Lustering lipstick, or lip liner and Lancôme Rose Rhapsodie lipstick, or lip liner and Chanel Rouge Allure Exaltee lipstick if I want to go bold. I just use black mascara to finish the look, concealer on under eye circles and I´m ready to go out. Even if I wanted to do more makeup, lately I just don´t have the time…
It’s nearing the end of Winter here in Oz so I’ve been wearing pretty heavy looks lately.
On the eyes, it’s been Maybelline Time for Wine quad, MAC Blushbaby and Enough Said for cheeks (depending on lips), and mainly NYX Bloody Mary or YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #19. I’m close to finishing up almost all of those from using them so much lol!
Minimum makeup it’s been so hot. Eyeliner, mascara, blot powder and concealer where needed.
Bankrupt: Diorskin nude powder compact in Clair, Guerlain Pink Punk for blusher, torned between Gigi, Girly (Guerlain, Rouge G) and Disco (Shiseido Laquer) and in between Les Roses (Guerlain) and a boring plain black cat eye with Blacktrack Fluidline and Shiseido’s Shimmering Cream Eye Color in white. My biggest deception of this months: eye primer and Lingerie de Peau, both from Guerlain 🙁
I’ve been on a Milani kick! Lumene BB, Milani eye primer, Milani Shadow Eyez 12 hour pencil in Champagne Toast, Milani e/s in Beach Sand, Milani blush in Dolce Pink, Lancome bronzer, Milani highlighter. Brown Prescriptives e/l, and Cover Girl volume mascara in brown. Got the idea from a video on the Milani site and love the look!

Those are the things I’ve been wearing consistently all summer.
Light skin makeup (BB cream, usually), no bronzer, blush, highlighter, neutral eyes, waterproof mascara, and bright lips. I was going crazy with the bronzer up until recently haha.
For eyes, I’ve been going back and forth between the Tarte for Aqualilies palette (Hammock, Bikini and Sundeck) and my newest acquisition, the Stila In the Garden palette. Cheeks – Tarte Natural Beauty almost every day (though I did use MAC’s Early Morning a few times just to try to get some use from it! Face has mostly been Marcelle BB Cream with SPF (I want to finish it up so I can buy Smashbox CC cream). Sephora Driving In Malaysia or GOSH Metallic Brass to line my eyes and on my lips, I’ve really been liking Guerlain Champs Elysees this month. It’s a brighter shade than I usually wear but no one has recoiled in horror at it so I guess it’s not as alarming as I sometimes think. And I’ve been relying on Essence All About Matt to keep my shinies at bay in the recent hot and humid weather we’ve had.

I’ve been doing my usual hot-weather foundation, which consists of a TM & MPF, with bronzer & highlighter (typically LORAC TANtalizer duo or WnW Ticket To Brazil & Reserve Your Cabana). For eyes, I’ve been using Maybelline Color Tattoos in Seashore Frosts, Precious Pear, Waves of White, or Lavish Lavender on the lid, with Tough As Taupe through the lid. I follow this up with black mascara, MUFE Aqua Black on the upper lashline, & Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil on the water line. For lips, it’s usually just a tinted lip balm, which varies daily.
Giorgio Armani eyes to kill eyeshadow in #24 as a smokey eye. Armani waterproof black eyeliner pencil smudged around the eye and also on waterline. lastly, for the eyes Chanel volume mascara. For face tom ford lovelust blush, nars laguna, marylou manizer. For lips tom ford nude vanille with nars striptease gloss over it.
Mac satin taupe on the lid with winged liner (loreal liner intense). Mac ambering rose blush. For my lips I lightly tap on and blend mac impassioned lipstick to get a stain. This is a very quick and easy look.
I actually started to use colors I didn’t reach for at all: a light shimmery yellow on the lid, a coppery shade in the crease with a light orange one at its outer edge that fades in to a sheer white highlight on the brow bone. I finished the look with a light pink eyeshadow on the lower lash line. The result is fresh and sweet, and all thanks to Christine’s Looks for the inspiration 🙂
I usually pair this look with a coral blush and a golden coral lipgloss (I have hazel eyes, and a NC35 skin in the summer)
During the summer, I especially prefer a fresh, quick and easy, “less is more” look, so the following items are what I’ve been reaching for daily as of lately:

Hmm! Id say my stila illuminating foundation in the lightest shade, Nars creamy concealer in the lightest shade, Nars nico on my lids, a random brown in the crease. Urban decay rock star eyeliner smushed into my lash line, benefit they’re real mascara, Laura mercier transparent powder to set my face, too faced 16 hr bronzer, either benefit Hervana blush, or Nars gaiety blush, Dior amber diamond to highlight and then for lipstick bite cava or a random Mac gloss! My brows are always the same and thts Mac lingering!
I’ve been using my new LORAC Pro Pallet like crazy! My go-to look has been Makeup Forever Matte Velvet +, Chocolate Soleil Bronzer from Too Faced, Rio Mineralized Skin Finish by MAC, LORAC Pro Light Bronze on the lid, Pewter in the crease and Cream as my highlight. I finish it with UD brown liquid liner on top and Sephora brown pencil liner on my bottom lash line, UD Faint on my brows and Bite lipstick in Pepper. I love this look! OH! And Mally mascara (which I don’t like, but am trying to use up).
I’ve discovered Edward Bess!!! EB Smokey Eye trio (what’s it called?), Nars LTL Volumizing mascara, Nars Radiant Tinted moisturiser, EB creme blush in Island Rose, Chanel lipstick in Rose Secret.
Sometimes I change to Laura Mercier creme blush in Blaze and a gloss I have from Guerlain, or a Bobbi brown Pot Rouge on lips and cheeks, but this is the look.
I don’t know why, I am a total lipgloss girl usually, but I have been loving actual lipstick this summer!
Korres Wild Rose Compact Powder, For mascara Benefit They’re real topped with Maybelline Full & Soft Waterproof, Bobbi brown gel liner-Espresso ink, Too faced chocolate Soleil for bronzer and Nars-Orgasm/Dior Rosy glow for blush.
I’ve been rocking a bright lip all month! MAC Vegas Volt, YSL Rouge Volupte Shine 06, MAC Impassioned and Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro 503 have been my top picks
Tarte BB cream in fair (huzzah! a bb cream for the ultra fair!) and Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Bobbi Brown Shell eyeshadow on lid with MAC Omega through the crease. Urban Decay Corrupt liner kept really close to the lashline. Guerlain Maxi Lash and Clinique Bottom Lash mascaras. Guerlain Four Seasons bronzer in 00 Nude and Bobbi Brown Pale Pink blush.

Well I haven’t really been wearing alot of make-up lately just because I’ve been working alot and it’s really hot. But if I am wearing make-up my go to look for July is:
Foundation: Clinique CC cream in medium
Bronzer: Benefit Hoola or Too Faced Chocolate Soliel
Eyes: MAC smolder eye liner tightline on the top and Maybelline Falsies Waterproof
Lips: Whatever lip balm I have around or Clinique Chubby Stick in Curvy Candy or Mighty Mimosa
Minimal makeup mostly:
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream, #31 or Tarte BB Cream, Medium
Laura Mercier Eye Basics, Wheat
Garnier Rollerball concealer
Clump Crusher mascara
Without a lot of time lately, I’m mostly no makeup with the exception of my brows which I do no matter what. For days when I go to a bit more effort, I’ve discovered that urban decay 24/7 eye pencils smudge nicely and stay perfectly put on my eyes on top of NARS smudgeproof primer. I line both top and bottom, smudge and extend at ends with a brush. Finally, a benefit to getting older…drier lids. With a bit more time, I usually throw a neutral/nudish shadow for crease definition UD Tease, Illamasqua blink from the Empower palette, essentially something soft and taupey.. the new Chanel Hasard fits the bill perfectly and a touch of highlight. Cheeks: Tom Ford Flush. Lips: either Korres lip butter in Guava or By Terry Baume de Rose for a nude, slightly glossy lip. Face is NARS tinted moisturizer in Alaska which I wish to hell it wasn’t so freaking YELLOW.. but I love LOVE the formula.
Concealer under the eyes, mascara, lightly filled in eyebrows, a pink cream blush and a bright pink lip. In this heat I cannot be bothered with a full face.
My go to quick and easy look has been; Estee Lauder BB Cream, BlackUp Bronzer, TINte shimmering face pearls in “Nikki Pink” dusted on my eyes, Too Faced Lashgasm mascara, Milani eyeliner and TINte gloss in “Cake”.
I’ve been loving sunset colors – MAC Daydreaming, Urban Decay Jones, Urban Decay Honey, usually in a gradient with some purple liner. MAC Ripe for Love on cheeks, then MAC Feel My Pulse on lips.
After the heat of the first week (in which I had to switch it all up), July turned out to be a fairly moderate month as far as heat and humidity. Settled into an easy look that doesn’t even require primer:
Foundations: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Tawny with Shisheido SPF 17 O60 under eyes, sides of forehead and chin.
Concealers: Face – MAC Studio Sculpt in NC40 (really a foundation but my real concealers are dying)
Brows: L’Oreal pencil in black so lightly applied, you can’t tell it is black
Blush: Combo of two BH cosmetic blushes from San Francisco, bright pink and light tan dusted across my cheeks, brows, forehead and chin
If I look a little anemic, I’ll add navy eye liner to outer corners with a light wing.
For evening, add:
Eye liner (top & bottom) – very thin line of Bobbi Brown’s Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Caviar Ink with a summer blue liner pencil over the outer corners of it
Setting Powder: Laura Geller’s Shimmer Down
Highlighter: MAC’s Shape the Future
Slightly stronger blush with MAC’s Gentle or MAC’s Simmer over a touch of neutral cream blush
Lips: MAC’s Dazzle lipstick in Sheer Seduction followed by Maybelline Neon Red dotted over (on my lips, this creates an absolutely gorgeous color on my lips but doesn’t last very long)
Primer: Hourglass Mineral Veil
Foundation: YSL Touche Eclat Foundation
Concealer/highlighter: YSL Touche Eclat
Eyeshadow: Stila Kitten
Eyeliner: Urban Decay Bourbon
Mascara: CoverGirl LashBlast Volume in Brown
Finishing Powder: MUFE HD Powder
Annabelle skintrue in True Beige and CG in Warm Beige on cheeks for a bit more colour, CG blush in Golden Pink, grey pencil super smudged into upper lashes and smudgeproof black mascara! That’s about it, oh, under eye concealer for circles. Whatever lipgloss is in my bag, but current favourite is MAC Big Baby or benefit Nudie tudie.
Last week I changed it up and used MUFE eyeshadow in 128 lightly buffed all over lids and into crease, no liner, and black mascara. Everything else pretty much the same. Those are my 5 minute faces and usually the easiest for work – great for the hot weather!!!
My normal base makeup (Occasionally sans foundation, depending on the condition of my skin) and two coats of mascara. I’ve been way too tired to do any bright, fun eye looks unless I’m going out with friends. D;
Foundation: Ettusais mineral white bb cream (the only bb cream I use)
Blush: Usually will skip this, but if I do wear, Illamasqua’s naked rose
Bronzer: Burberry earthy blush
Eyes: Been wearing stila’s kitten with any kind of taupe eyeshadow. If I have more time I’ll do purple eyes. I get compliments when I do purples. Mascara has been The Rocket mascara by maybelline.
Lips: Neutrogena revitalizing lip balm in healthy blush or MUFE rouge artist natural in N11
Its been so hot so my look has been Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream – Dark, Benefit They’re Real mascara and MAC Yung Rapunxel lipstick.
