What you said, indeed, though that would dent my wallet. Everyone will say ENOUGH, ALREADY with the Orgasm, Laguna. There’s only so much color extension a brand can do without boring us to death. I’d also like to see base products without chemical sunscreen. I think that option should be available. Chem sunscreen reactivities are quite high in the general pop. (It drops my temp to 93 and basically incapacitates me.)

For real. A lot of NARS naming conventions have me wondering who is at the wheel there. They won’t test on animals, but using offensive slurs is fine apparently??

Because I enjoy all the looks I get from it, a deeper, more grungy version of the Unrated Eyeshadow palette! And from some sneak peeks, it certainly appears to be about to *sort* of happen. 😘
But, I would also LOVE to see them bring back all of their e/s duos, add some quads, too. And all with the high quality of Kauai and Thessaloniki.

I miss the Multiples, and I’d really love to see more cooler tones eyeshadow palettes.

Douceur should also be a permanent staple in the blush lineup, and I’d love to have a cream and/or Multiple version…

Their blushes are decent to good, but the blush packaging is awful. That black “velvet” turns sticky and gross after about a year and urgently needs to be updated to something more modern and shelf stable, lol.

Yes… I enjoy my NARS palettes but I love the orgasm liquid blush. That is my favorite formula. Their blushes are a bit dry.. and they could use some more formulas and colors. I was disappointed that Ulta sold of of the Mac extra dimension skin finish when it was 50% off. NARS needs to offer more… and expand the liquid blush colors. the peach one is to light the torrid is to red/dark for me.

Agreed, an extended blush. And I agree about the laguna Orgasm this and that. Also, many won’t purchase due to names d**p throat. Sex something. It’s to me infantile and an unneeded shock value. Also, in the day he did some mighty fine sheer lipsticks. And shimmer. Christina being a truly beautiful color. Other than powder Maldives I buy nothing from the brand. They lost me.

Bring back their eyeshadow duos! That was the strength of NARS for me, the ability to put on makeup without overthinking or struggling. I still consider Madrague, Portobello and Key Largo to be primary eyeshadow duos for an easy look. Get rid of G+psy, and come up with some unique names for their new blushes. I swear by Luster, but would love if they got rid of the rubbery packaging and the tendency for powder blushes to get hard (especially Orgasm). Also the light reflecting foundation? Great step in the right direction but needs to be less heavy and stop putting turmeric in ALLLLLL of their foundations! Some of us have sensitivities to turmeric and can not wear it.

I would like to see the go cruelty-free. They sell in China which requires animal testing. Time for Nars to consider the planet and the residents who share it with us.

They didn’t use to sell to China, and the suddenly they just had to start selling their products there. I haven’t bought anything from them since. I mean they were OK and then they went with some lame excuse about pitying the Chinese customers and having other ways to address the animal testing issue. What that was no one knows, probably they don’t know themselves. It’s just stupid excuses to widen the market and earn more money.
I tweeted about boycotting them, but my voice on Twitter is so small no one even knows I’, there. 🙂

I’m perhaps the only person on earth who really loved their Dual Intensity eyeshadows and I’d love to see those come back, with a few more shades thrown in and my favourite – Ursa Major – made permanent. I’d also love to see some cool pink blushes with a bit of sheen. I think they used to have some that were either LE or discontinued.

And I can only echo what others have said regarding “enough” with the Orgasm and Laguna stuff.

I loves those eyeshadows too! Dual intensity was gorgeous
I even used one as a duo chrome highlighter way before the product trend started (I’m sure other ppl were using shadows this way too)

If they went back to being cruelty free I might think about it. As it is, some day I might buy a new Orgasm blush. I had a lovely lip gloss also named, guess what, Orgasm. I’d like to get it back. I think they should absolutely keep Orgasm and Laguna, but stop trying to sell other products using the fame of these products.
I liked the Dual Intensity eye shadows and I love the Audasious lipsticks. I want them to bring Vivien back as we never got it here and I was stupid enough not to order it. However I guess I have to wait until they stop selling in China again or for China, or rather Chinese authorities to stop being so stubborn with the very old fashioned idea that one must test already tested on loads of humans in the rest of the world, on animals.
So getting off the soap box now and saying: Sorry for the rant!
