Nail polish from a cheap accessories store. They’re closing down so it was $1 instead of $5. I found my perfect nude, and bought three of it, along with a pale lavender and cornflour blue. Turns out to be great stuff– dries within a few seconds and is completely dry within ten minutes without top coat!
Passionate Red nailpolish by Maybelline’s Forever Strong Pro line. It’s a true tomato red and the formula is great
Urban Decay Oz Theodora palette
A cheap 10 colour neutral eyeshadow palette I bought this afternoon!(Australia) It as only $14. Not a brand I usually even look at as it’s a bit garish, but 25% off and a nice range of shades I thought I’d give it a go.
I picked up a pair of lashes from Eylure at CVS on impulse tonight; I grabbed the “Oh Honey” Katy Perry ones. I was originally out for nail polish, but all the new polishes from Nicole by OPI were gone, which was what I was originally out to find. 🙁

I placed a Nordstrom order today that was totally impulse. I got an Estee Lauder pure color blush, a MAC 242 (I needed a brush for cream shadows, so that’s not technically impulse), a Clinique chubby stick for eyes, and a Lancome Baume in Love. Totally random order except for the brush, but I had fun browsing and adding and removing things from my basket. I’ve wanted an EL PC blush for a while after your review of them (I actually did get Sensuous Rose), too.
Today! I just bought some Rimmel 60-second nailpolish in black and a Kate Moss lippie in 09 a real cool berry red. They had 25% off so I thought I could justify a little splurge! >_<
My last impulse buy was a lipstick and a lipstain for my mom. My next impulse buy will probably be for her or my sister.
Last impulse buy was definitely the 3 nail polishes for $10 Zoya was offering (oh, plus the other 4 I bought that led to the free shipping, LOL!). It was a deal I just couldn’t pass up!

Yes that was on Saturday, today I purchased the UD Glinda palette and I love the other one too. The eyeshadows are subtle and pretty, much more than I had imagined !
Most of my beauty buys are impulse buys. Any time I walk into a Walgreens, Target, Walmart, CVS etc I’m coming out with at least a nail polish. Oh! Ordered Diorshow the other day… Just because.

My impulse buy was when all lipsticks and lipglosses were 40% off. I thought i must have them alll. So i bought 2 chanel glosses and 2 clinique glosses + chubby stick and a dior glos and 3 ysl glossy stains at once….. Bammm and i never bought so many glosses at once in my live. So, for me it was really impulsy…

Urban Decay Glinda and Naked flushed palettes. Not sure if I need them but they r beautiful.

Got a couple China Glaze polishes from old collections (including one I bought over the holidays for a Secret Santa that I just barely managed to part with), a couple Nyx things. I went completely nuts on Jordana and Milani, it’s too bad I don’t have access to either of their full lines in stores.
Bought two more Milani HD Advanced lip colors in that mess…puts me up to seven of them, I think? Love the formula.
I just ordered a palette from Frontcover Cosmetics, they have a sale right now.
The Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum. I did NOT like it and apparently, neither did my skin :/ such a shame.

The Body Shop brushes are great and reasonably priced and the eye-shadows are really nice, the pale colours are quite sheer dry but very strong and vibrant when wet and didn’t crease after 8 hours (no primer) and no noticeable fading.
I’ve gone a little ‘impulse crazy’ the past two weeks 🙁 I’ve hauled;
Naked Palette, Mac strong woman lipstick, mac 187, mac 287, sephora concealer #57, a couple Maybelline Vivids, and a couple Maybelline Color Whispers. Oh and a few L’Oréal nail polishes for spring. Needless to say I didn’t need Any of it and I’m not allowed to shop anymore lol
OH and mac sun power and Lush mint Julip scrub…. And that’s it LOL
I picked up Lancome’s Moonlight Rose Illuminating Powder Highligter about a week before Christmas. I saw it and I just had to have it. No regrets, it’s just beautiful!

Probably the Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty palette which I bought because it was so deeply discounted at Sephora and I knew all her stuff would be gone soon and it was the only thing they had left that I really wanted. Before that, it would be every single Urban Decay palette I’ve ever bought (except for the 2 Naked palettes) – they were insane “gotta have it NOW” impulse purchases.

It was a LipToxyl Rouge Lipstick I found in TrEmbu while shopping online. I think it will be a perfect gift for my sister and of course for myself.

I’ve been on a no-buy basically, but I still picked up OPI nail envy. I want to use it as a base coat under red nail polish because my regular base coat left my nails pink. Also, lately my nails have been kind of weak, even though I don’t wear polish that much at all.
i went to body shop to buy one lip butter but ended up buying a pack of three since they were on sale. although it was a deal, it was also an impulse buy i guess..
Burberry – Nordstrom was doing a gift with purchase and it just felt so darn necessary. I ended up getting an eyeliner, blush, and lipgloss…but I got 2 free mini lipsticks so I think I did the right thing!
Rouge d’armani lipstick 408. I had seen your swatches and stopped at the counter. While I was looking at it, a sales person came and asked if I needed help. And I asked her for the lipstick without thinking what I was saying:) it was $52!
Shower gel haha. I’ve been really iffy on buying products lately because i’m broke and really need to concentrate on skincare rather than anything else.

I added the new Tarte blush in Awakening to my last sephora order. For color cosmetics I usually wait to see reviews & swatches, but it looked pretty and I wanted something fun because my other items were all skincare. It’s nice, a nude brownish-pink color.
It was Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm in Hibiscus. I saw it in the grocery store, and after hearing people rave about it so many times I just tossed it in with the groceries! LOL
I’m glad I did though because it’s a great MLBB color when I’m on the go.
I guess for me where the 3 evil eyes palettes by elf, the ones with maleficent, evil queen and cruella on them. They are beautiful but i bought them for double the retail price and haven’t used them yet!

Not my impulse so not sure if it counts… but we were in Walgreens and my dd (age 9) found a generic eyeshadow palette on a counter display and insisted I buy it because it was “pretty”, lol. It was pretty, 15 metallic shades arraigned in squares like a patchwork quilt. All for a whopping $0.99. I told her it was probably junk, but for $1 why not. Guess what? It was actually really nice. I’ve worn it several times now and can honestly say I’ve paid a lot more for shadows I liked a lot less. As a matter of fact I bought four other products (on purpose) that day from new release displays and wound up returning all of them, except the $1 palette!
Shu Uemura Oil in Gel cleanser. I was not in need of another cleanser at the time but it looked great and was discounted! Will try it out once my Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser runs out.

I am so trying to be on a no-buy – but I did pick up two of the Neutrogena Moisturizing Color Sticks – in Raspberry and Watermelon Pink (I think) they were on sale and BOGO half off, so it was worth it.
I also bought a BareMinerals loose foundation with 15% off on Friday. But I’ve been so good otherwise!

Last night I couldn’t sleep, so I spent some time in front of the computer looking at swatches and suddenly 4 eyeshadows from Rouge Bunny Rouge ended up in my cart (how did that happen??? lol). €100 with shipping. Ouch. I have had some of them on my wish list for the longest time (months!), but it’s not something I’ve saved up for or planned getting at all.
Drugstore foundation! I went to Target and bought Revlon’s Nearly Naked (love it), Revlon Photo Stay (meh) and Revlon Color Stay (haven’t tried it yet). I was looking for a light coverage foundation for weekend wear.
@ Walgreens I picked up 2 Jordana liquid eyeliner pens–brown, and black. For some odd reason, the brown one yields black liner, and the black one is a cross between grey and brown. Weird.
Burberry lip velvet in Military Red. I used it the day I bought it and now I am trying to figure out the next time I’ll wear it. Love the texture, though!

Around Christmas time I was at the mall and my lips were chapped, so I got a tube of Jack Black lip balm at Sephora. I also got some of those minty blotting papers. I hadn’t been planning to buy makeup for myself that day.
I grabbed a couple of Essie polishes on sale at the drugstore that were from a Breast Cancer Awareness collection of pinks. These were my first Essie polishes and they were very watery and took forever and a day to dry. I had 3 coats on and I could still see nail in some places!! I picked up a copper brown eyeliner by Essence also for a whopping $1.49. It’s gorgeous and stays put. the Essence line is seriously under-rated IMO.
UD Naked 2. And I’m glad my instincts were right. I use it more than any other palette I own. It’s literally perfect for night or day, every day.
Must be some drugstore nail polish, the only time when I go drustore 🙂 those rare impulse times when I buy without thinking. Since all the high end stuff is well thought out and saved up for…

Essence Asian Sensation Blush from the LE Cherry Blossom Girl Collection. I love the colour, but it has no staying power on me so it’s going back.
L’Oreal’s new stick concealer in a dark shade to use as a cream contour and I’m actually really enjoying it. Impulse success!

Yves Saint Laurent burgundy mascara! I had to return a purchase to Charming Charlie’s, which is right next to Sephora in my local shopping mall (double trouble for me!) It seems like every time I stray from my beloved HG mascara, DiorShow, I am disappointed, but I HAD to try it (I still haven’t yet!) I wanted to try a mascara from Makeup For Readheads Only, but I didn’t want to wait for it to be shipped. 🙂
I repurchase that hand cream constantly…I love it and it smells awesome! My last impulse buy was pretty large. I walked into a boutique and bought enough Becca Cosmetics to last me a lifetime!
I hadn’t bought anything on true impulse for a while – then this week I bought five Covergirl Liquiline Blast eyeliners! I couldn’t decide so I just got them all, LOL. Target was having 25% off cosmetics so that made them $11 AUD each – I got Blue Boom, Green Glow, Silver Spark, Brown Blaze and Violet Voltage. Eyeliner is the one area in which my stash is severely lacking – looking healthier now!
