Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover -have gone through many bottles, takes off waterproof eye makeup quickly, very gentle on eye, and reasonably priced compared to other brands

I’ve used MAC Kid just about every time I’ve put on makeup since 2011 and the pan still looks untouched. It’s kind of creeping me out at this point, it’s like it’s self rejuvenating or something.

Serious serum by Urban Waxx (from Amazon). I LOVE this stuff. It’s a chemical exfoliant, with glycolic, lactic, and salycilic acids. I use it daily for skin exfoliating and smoothing; and my son uses it for his acne. It’s amazing. I’m onto my backup jar already. 🙂

Ray Avatar

Not Your Mother’s cleansing conditioner. I go through 2 or 3 bottles a month :/ I swear I’m going to make Ulta Platinum just based on this one product.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer. It was my first over $5 single purchase when I got really into make-up five years ago, and I rationed the crap out of it. Really need to re-purchase ’cause the e.l.f. one I’ve been using ever since is pretty lackluster.

Holly Avatar

My favorite eye shadow primer is from Milani at the drugstore it is very similar to the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and it’s around $6. I also live the one from Wet n Wild, it’s a little stickier, great for shimmery or glitter shadows.

Erica Avatar

Milani one is great! I really don’t see how it differs from UD primer potion except for the cost. $6 is much more convenient and Milani is easier for me go come by! The Wet n Wild is good too. I cannot say for elf bc I have not tried. Otherwise I use Mac paint pots!

Ended up trying the Black Radiance one. Have only used it twice, so not sure if I like it.
WnW’s price is great, but I don’t do shimmer or glitter shadows, so the extra sticky bit I know I won’t like. Hmmm…

I finished 2 things at the same time – Clinique’s SuperDefense SPF20 (which is my daily face cream, if I’m not wearing something else with SPF) and Eucerin Q10 Cream, which is my night cream most of the time. Now I’ve just opened a new jar of each (yesterday!).

Julia Avatar

Tossed a Lashblast mascara today! I am actually on a quest now to use up the 10 or so mascara samples sitting in my drawer.

I also had to pump my Neutrogena cleanser about 17 times this morning to get one squirt of product, so that one is shot, too.

Natalia Avatar

Thank you! 🙂 I know, I was surprised how quickly I went from making a dent to completely using it up, considering that I have 3 contour powders to alternate with and I have not got anywhere near making a dent in any of my other blushes.

The eyeshadows are the toughest I know! I only finished two pans so far, third is nearing, but still a long way two go. Good thing on the other hand, right?

Marie-Estelle Avatar

I can’t picture myself finishing a blush, bronzer or highlighter (especially the 10g + ones lol)… ever. Especially since I always go for a very subtle application.
There will be a dance happening the day I finally finish one of those eyeshadows up, that’s for sure :).
I think my main problem is that I feel guilty buying any new product because they are so hard to finish! And I don’t buy “so” many (for a makeup enthousiast huh :P)

Anne Avatar

SK-II cellumination mask-in lotion. So expensive that at the end I even stored the bottle upside down to get those last drops. I did buy a replacement because this is best for my skin I’ve found in years, after lots of experimentation and dermatologist visits. Nice balance of toning to non-oily /non-stripping for my problematic, ageing skin.

Madame Miyagi Avatar

Love this line too. I’m 44 and honestly, SK-II’s Cellumination products are hard to beat (loooove the Essence and the Deep Surge!). I fear the day I will run out, because I simply don’t have the budget to keep up with those… :/ Although completely worth it, they will have to remain a one-time-only splurge for me!

Meredith Avatar

What do these products do for you? I will be 60 this September and am always on the lookout for good skincare for older, sun damaged but sensitive skin.

Madame Miyagi Avatar

Bright and luminous skin like never before. They also improved my skin’s texture – I don’t have that many wrinkles for my age, but I still want to fight them. The one product from SK-II that did not seem to do much for me was the Signature Eye Cream (from a different collection, comes in a red jar).
You should definitely give the Cellumination system a try!

Heather Avatar

I finished up a bunch of mascara samples last week–Benefit Roller Lash (loved–wish I knew a drugstore dupe), UD Perversion (surprise favorite! Darkens and separates while staying soft to the touch), Too Faced Better than Sex (it wasn’t).

Anyone have feelings about the mascara brands/varieties in Sephora’s current mascara sample set?

Anne Avatar

You may want to try out their Sephora Favorites “Lashstash To Go” (found here: http://www.sephora.com/lashstash-to-go-P408310?skuId=1807783&icid2=D=c6:sephorafavorites_fromthebrand_us_skugrid:p408310)

It’s $28 and has:
– 0.1 oz Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash in Blacquer
– 0.25 oz Milk Makeup Ubame in Black
– 0.17 oz Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara in Black
– 0.1 oz Tarte tarteist lash paint in Black
– 0.17 oz Ciaté LONDON Triple Shot in Black

Obviously the Too Faced one is in there but if you want to try the others you could pass that one on and it is probably still worth the price to try them out.

Anne Avatar

I just realized your question was about this exact item! Sorry! I’ve heard good things about the Marc Jacobs one and the Tarte one, and not much about the MILK or Ciate ones, but I tend to hear good reviews about those brands. I really like that it comes with a voucher for a full size of one of them too.

xamyx Avatar

I get through skincare/hygiene items pretty regularly (I think the last thing was a Kroger spray-on body sunscreen and/or a random shampoo & conditioner…), but as far as makeup goes, it’s been quite a while… That said, I have 3 products that are showing significant pan, and those are a L’Oreal Visible Lift powder (perfect for under the eyes), WnW Fergie Take on the Day Mattifying Powder (I have 2 backups), and L’Oreal True Match Blush in C3-4 Tender Rose (may *possibly* repurchase, but not for a while…).

Ellen Avatar

MAC Jubilee lipstick. Loved it with Hover pencil, but that seems to have been discontinued, so any known dupes (of pencil, not lipstick), would be greatly appreciated ?

Erin Avatar

I finished the Pixi Glow Tonic and Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Infusion just a few weeks ago and I had backups already. I haven’t finished a whole product for makeup in a while that’s not a tinted lip balm. I think the last was Armani LSF. I’ve hit pan on a lot of things. Oh Kitten… I’ve used my last pan down to the dregs and I’ve purchased a replacement.

I just finished my Chosungah 22 Luminous Light foundation and had already purchased a back up. I love it so much as it is the perfect peachy tone for my complexion and with just a tiny dab of white foundation mixer it is pale enough for me. Having said that, I am curious to try the Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Foundation. I use to love Shiseido back in the day and have been hearing so many positive reviews that I am curious. If any one else has tried and has input I would be curious to hear your thoughts?

Bon Bon Avatar

Estee Laudershimmer rose blush (been discontinued). Savoured for 6 years after I found out it was discontinued. Finished about 10 days ago…will miss it.

Tamika B. Avatar

I’ve finished an Elf eyeshadow primer and an Urban decay eyeshadow primer. Also finished a bottle of Philosophy Purity cleanser, love this stuff.

Maria Avatar

I have never finished any makeup product but cleansing products yes. Tatcha cleansing oil along with Tatcha polished rice enzyme, which I love. Also, Clinique take the day off cleansing balm.

Dezi Avatar

Trader Joes Enrich Face lotion spf 15, Lush herbalism cleanser, Thayers Rose petal toner, Lorac sheer porefection foundation, DevaCurl decadence conditioner, Trader Joes Coconut body butter.

All of the above items (except for the conditioner & body butter) are excellent for oily and acne prone skin and I would repurchase them all.

Madame Miyagi Avatar

A bottle of Latisse. But I always keep backups because there is no way I will manage to live my life without this little wonder!

Glenda Avatar

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, Maybelline Soft and Full Mascara and Maybelline Clean Express Eye Makeup Remover. And I have back ups of all of them!

Maria Avatar

I forgot to add I just finished Josie Maran Argan milk and Argan oil. I always purchase it from her website and always have back ups.

Trippytink Avatar

I just finished a generous sample of the Glamglow Nude moisturizer and already heart broken they don’t sale a smaller size of this. I don’t need a lot of it for my skin so I’m afraid that if I pay the 50 dollars for the one size they have it’ll go bad before I get thru it.
Plus my MAC NC15 foundation it’s to light for my skin tone now but after all my contouring and extras it always ends up looking great.

Melissa Arredondo Avatar

Estee Lauder’s double wear foundation in tawny! My absolute favorite full coverage liquid foundation;Plus, a little goes a long way and it is very buildable. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, and it’s great; I’ve been using it for years!! The only thing I do not like is that it doesn’t come with a pump, so everytime I’m running out I flip the bottle overnight and pour what’s left in a container; But other than that it’s my holy grail!♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ I hope there are some ladies out there who agree!
Happy blogging ladies and gentlemen 🙂

Amy Avatar

I do finish skin care products, though it takes a long time. I pretty much never finish any makeup product. My UD 24/7 pencils get pretty tiny but I keep on using them.

Chacha Avatar

Moisturizer from Le couvent des minimes(french brand), a great cream for dry skin with 4 kind of roses…Its like only this
cream can be connected to my skin at 100%…When applied its like your skin feel in safe and security lol

Cory Avatar

I literally JUST ran out of what was my HG foundation (it was discontinued), DiorSkin Forever, AND my fav concealer, Sephora’s Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer, ON THE SAME DAY!!!! Such a bummer for me! I’m currently on the hunt for a foundation similar to the DiorSkin Forever but it’s not going very well…

Andria Pizzi Avatar

I finished my better than sex mascara and the rimmel concealer ! Love them both! I just bought the Sephora favorites mascara sampler! For $28.00 it comes with 5 mascara to try including too faced BTS, mark Jacobs, milk, tarte and 1 other. There is a voucher to redeem the full size so it’s really cool! I won’t need mascara for the entire year lol

KJH Avatar

I suffer from TMS: too much stash. The only thing used up recently is toothpaste. But I noticed that people were going to great lengths to get the last drop of product. A consideration: check out the Swoon tool from Sephora, if the container can be opened. I use it, yes, even for toothpaste.

Naomi Avatar

I just finished a deluxe sample of the yes to grapefruit facial scrub, though I only used it as a body scrub because the ingredients were subpar. I also just finished a cucumber sheet mask by the brand naisture (they make AWESOME sheet masks!) and a pack of the almay makeup removing q-tips. I also just finished a pack of cetaphil cleansing clothes and a sample of UD primer potion. I had a list of things I’m trying to finish before my current job terminates (it’s a seasonal job) and I’m doing pretty good on my list! there’s only like 3 things out of 20 I don’t think I’m going to finish!

Holly Avatar

Same here but it was a few days ago and it was the Shu Uemura Antioxidant cleansing oil, small size. I have purchased the Ultime8 thinking it would be a bit better for my dry skin, but it isn’t and of course I bought the big one. I will repurchase the Antioxidant in the large size when this one runs out . . . . . . in 2018 lol. I will be finishing Skinceuticals Emollience cream and Resveratrol BE serum shortly, both will be repurchased. I have finished samples of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream, Night Cream and Eye Cream and think they will be going on my wish list. I see some have listed hair products so I have just repurchased (3rd time) Kerastase Therapiste Shampoo and Masque, holy grail stuff for fine limp hair! You should ask your readers what they have repurchased more than once, I would love to know the products that beauty aficionados can’t live without!

VAL MARTIN Avatar

Yesterday I finished a full size Laura Geller Bronze n Brighten. Can’t remember how long I had owned this. Will not be replacing just yet as I have other bronzes to use.

Gina Avatar

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads and MAC Shell Pearl from Give Me Liberty of London Collection. I loved both of them and will definitely repurchase only if MAC repromotes Shell Pearl.

Meredith Avatar

Guerlain’s Aqua Cream in the dark blue jar. I seldom repurchase a product as I love to experiment but I had another one on hand as this cream is the perfect balance of moisture for me. Just finished it yesterday. It gives me a good feeling to finish a product. I rarely do with makeup items.

Laura Avatar

Technically it is Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm but it was only a deluxe sample size I use for travelling. The latest full sized product I have used up is either Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray, Balance Active Snake Venom Eye Cream or Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara, but again the last one is a deluxe sample.

Singularity Avatar

Just finished a lipstick (!) I own about a million lipsticks and never finish them but since I found lorac alter ego in CO, I’ve been a one-lipstick gal. Took about 2.5 months with everyday use. .

Makeup Forever Liquid Liner in black. Was not a fan, switched to the Kat Von D tattoo liner. Anyone else have the MUF liner ball up on you?
