I’m usually all about color and metallic sparkle, but, as my nails have been peeling sideways and breaking lately for no apparent reason, I tried OPI Nail Envy in Bubble Bath. They recommend you use 2 coats. The first coat looked good, but the second was streaky even though I tried my best to float the brush. The finished manicure looked passable but would not survive up close inspection! I left it on for a week with no top coat (wear time seemed a little better for no top coat than normal OPI polish) and noticed that my nails did grow longer with much less peeling in that time. I think it got them out of a bad cycle.
I don’t really wear nail polish. Last one I wore was from NCLA . It was Capricorn that I found at Marshall’s. It’s a chocolate brown which be-stilled my 90s teen heart lol. It wore decently enough🤷🏻♀️
It was either OPI We the Female (a lovely cool toned deep red) or I’m Not Really a Waitress (I honestly can’t recall which) but whichever it was, I was really pleased that it lasted almost a week on me (with a few little touch ups) before I had to remove it because it did start showing its “age”.
Sad to report that I haven’t worn nail polish in almost 2 years. And even that time, it was only a pedicure with one of Sinful Colors Gel Shine’s in a beautiful midtone teal. It wore super well for two whole weeks!
Would love to do my nails now, but have something weird happening with a few of my fingertips. Need to see a dermatologist and get that issue taken care of first.

I’m wearing Wanda by Cupcake Polish right now. Its a pink leaning red linear holo.
Holo Taco One Coat Black. Lived up to the name and my blackened goth heart is in heaven. I also snagged one of their holos in the same order and it’s *chef’s kiss.* Between that and the black she’s got a future customer in me.
Two coats of OPI “Funny Bunny” with OPI “Mimosas for Mr & Mrs” to add just a hint of a blush color. I always use Essie Gel Couture as my top coat
I went exceptionally colorful this time: OPI The Pass Is Always Greener from the recent XBOX collection, and Essie Saltwater Happy as an accent on my ring finger nails. The OPI color screams summer, but I often find myself a little underwhelmed with the application of OPI polishes, given the cult status of OPI. Luckily my Essie topcoat saved the final appearance of this fun shade. Saltwater Happy, on the other hand, I had not worn in a long time until I rediscovered it a couple of weeks ago, and remembered what a great nail polish it is – both in terms of being a lovely color and of solid quality.
OPI “A Hush of Blush” from the Hello Kitty collection. It’s a silvery blush color, it has a metallic finish and it’s more silvery than “Let’s Be Friends.” It’s a color that’s very easy to apply and I wore it for 2 weeks, I got a chip on one finger from all the hand sanitizer I was using during the trip. That stuff is so hard on regular polish.
ILNP Downtown sounds amazing, I have that on my wishlist!
