Yesterday, I used all the tamer shades in my MUFE 15 Artist Palette for a makeup challenge portraying the makeup look my Mom wears, in her case, wore. She always went soft brown tones on her lids, so Olive Gray, Nude Pink and Nude Beige got used.
The only “wild” eye makeup I can vividly remember her wearing was deep purple eye liner and mascara!

If quads count, MAC Pure Bred, otherwise MAC Nordstrom Now palette. I missed out on Goldbit, Buckwheat and Magic Moor when they were first out so am really glad to have gotten them this time. 😀

If quads count, it’s the Kat von D Shade + Light quad in Plum (although by the time this posts, it’ll be Smoke).

As for larger palettes, the last one I used on its own would be UD Through the Looking Glass…

I’m not sure, since I depotted all my palettes into z palettes.

No, wait! I still have my UD Glinda palette–so I’m thinking probably that one 🙂 It’s quite springy and pretty, and I especially like the iridescent colors.

I wore my Naked 3 palette yesterday to go with a mauve colored top I was wearing, I love that palette so much, rosy shadows are one of my favorite looks.

Too Faced Natural Matte palette, though that was a while back as I’ve just been doing a single wash of color for a while, and then I mostly use cream shadows. So late actual eyeshadow product was Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadow in ‘Bette’.

The only palette I’ve worn in the past couple of years is Shu Uemura’s Prestigious Bordeaux, and even then, just a handful of times. I much prefer singles than pre-made palettes, but I like PB enough that I packed it for my last two international trips.

Natasha Denona Palette 4—the perfect warm shimmery neutrals, from a rosy pink to a rust and then and olive. I have put all of my other palettes away:) I usually use a colour-pop super shock cream eyeshadow as a base.

Yesterday I did a pink look using the Too Faced Bon Bons palette, but now I’m traveling for work so I packed and just applied the Kevyn Aucoin Contour book. The only other color cosmetic I need to pack is blush, even to fill my brows. It’s so handy!

That’s my favorite one to wear at the moment! There’s not a single shade I don’t like in that palette. So glad they still sell the shades individually

MACnificent Me (Dusky Rose x9) and the MAC Cinderella palettes. I am pretty hooked on using them individually or both in conjunction for most of my daily eye looks. Really beautiful and versatile.

I was traveling this weekend, so Naked on the Run. After this trip I decided to just depot it, since I like the shadows but the blush/bronzer aren’t doing it for me. Building that Z palette!

Yesterday I wore Chanel’s quad in Particulier. I love those sunset into twilight colors. I haven’t thought much about today.

Technically, the Urban Decay Naked Basics (1) palette is the last one I wore but I’m about to do my makeup and use the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette

Nice tribute to your mum. Mine never owned eye shadow in her life. A tad of taupe brow and cake mascara, very rarely pot rouge. Powder blush didn’t really enter the scene until I was in jhs. But, she didn’t need concealer, got those beauts from my dad. She did have a few l/s, I remember cherries in the snow, fire and ice, and some pinks I didn’t pay attention to, even then. Think they were Arden and Germaine Monteil. Honestly, I don’t know where I came from.

Yesterday for Mother’s Day I used the Tarte In Bloom palette and I always pull in an iridescent inner corner highlight shade since there isn’t one in the palette so I used MAC nylon. I love that as a highlight on the inner corner. Today I used the Chocolate Bon Bon Palette. I saw where they are going to be re-stocking the Too Faced Peach Palette and while I appreciate that they are doing that for all of the fans that didn’t get it I still feel really used about the whole thing. I just don’t think that you can realistically hype this palette on Instagram and YouTube and expect an order of 12,000 palettes, which was their original order size, to cover everyone who wants one. So, I was watching a YouTube channel, (not sure if I am allowed to mention her channel by name, sorry) and she provided a link to a small indie brand making pigments in the same colors as the peach palette and I ordered those. I should be getting them any day now and I am really excited to try them out. I won’t be purchasing the Peach palette but I am so happy for everyone else who wants one and didn’t get the chance to get one. They haven’t committed to a date for restocking but hopefully won’t be long for anyone who is interested. Stalk their Instagram feed if you want it!!

I try to use a much palettes as I can because I feel guilty for buying more than I needed! :”)

NARS Steve Klein Dead of Summer. I started with the lighter colours and by the time I decided to do my crease it went a bit vampy on me, but somehow it works (or at least I think it does) for me today.

Today I’ve got on several shads from Sleek Vintage Romance palette + Nars dual intensity Callista. It’s crazy-bold & if I’m in the mood I might try another color combo from the same palette tomorrow.

I’ve said it before here, but these little Sleek palettes are just great. Right up there with a lot of the high end palettes.

Carole Avatar

I rarely post, but I only own one palette – it’s UD Naked 3. I love all those pinks. All of my other shadows are loose BE pigments (I own almost 475 pots).

Dior Glowing Gardens in Rose Garden. I just love the fresh yellow and lime green in this, I wore those on the lid and blended the taupe and pale pink into the crease and it worked for a fresh, fun daytime look. It didn’t get a brilliant review on here but it works OK with a tacky primer, I used MAC’s Pro Longwear Painterly. I wore NARS Orgasm on my cheeks and Rikugien on my lips. Felt very summery when I took my little girl to the park!

Brittney Avatar

Today I used my Alice through the looking glass palette that I just got a couple of days ago. So far I’m really liking it

Laura Haslam Avatar

Morphe 35P, love the palette! My first look with it turned out SUPER dark because I didn’t think they’d be that pigmented haha!

Stacy Avatar

BareMinerals Soft and Smokey palette. I can’t use their foundation or blush without my face itching like it’s going to fall off, but I LOVE the eye shadows!

Lea Avatar

The last one I wore was the Armani Fall/Winter palette, which is pretty bold for me (stark white, black and hot pink shadows), but I love the way it brings out the green in my hazel eyes. What I’m about to put on is my Chantecaille The Glacier trio since I left the house without putting on shadow this morning. I keep The Glacier palette in my make-up bag as a neutral go to. I think this is also one of the rare matte sets that I own. Most of my shadows tend toward the shimmery side generally.

I’m not feeling well today so I went with my UD Gwen Stefani palette. I like that I can easily even out my lids with one of the light mattes and run a slightly darker matte through the crease. It takes so little effort and I don’t need to worry about frightening children or pets 🙂
