Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I bought Sephora’s Pyramid (a golden bronze sort of shade) and Shock Choc together when there was a 30% off Sephora products. I bought the former because it’s the type of colour I always cave for and the latter because it got really good reviews at Sephora’s site. Strange thing is that I hardly ever reach for either of them. Shock Choc fell right out of its pan upon opening it (and I’m really careful with Sephora’s shadows because the cases are annoyingly hard to open) and while it just fell into the palm of my hand and was easy to put back in place, I think that experience has made me reluctant to use them…(it’s not like I don’t have a whole lot of other eyeshadows within easy reach…)

ColourPop It’s Taupe palette and I like it a lot. The matte shades are all great colors for me, and work very well with NYX eyeshadow primers. (I don’t use sparkly eyeshadow, so I don’t care that the ones in this palette are not of good quality.)

A literal BUNCH of different eyeshadows from multiple palettes, but it sure turned out very beautiful! From Huda Beauty Rose Quartz palette: Gratitude transition, Aura crease, and later used Blissful to bridge the next 2 shades mentioned, I skipped over to ColourPop Sonic Bloom and used Verbena all over mobile lid, and Buxom Room Service on inner corners, used SG X Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels Scarab along lower lashline slightly overlapping the deep green ColourPop liner, Spare Thyme x Raw Beauty Kristi; whew!
Oh, and yes, I sure did love the way it came out!

I’m wearing it now. I got nine SSS’s from CP, they weren’t what I had ordered, but I got to keep them and they are sending the things I did order, minus two items no longer available.
The shade is Montecito, it swatched so nicely so I thought I’d use it as a very quick three and done. I applied it all over the lid, had to apply two layers as the first sheered out and just a lot of shimmer was showing up. Two layers looked awful on me. It looked extremely yellow, and I can’t do yellow. I’ve hated the look every time I’ve looked in a mirror.
So, absolutely not love. I do think I can use it, but just as a detail with more flattering colours so I will keep it, but trying it made my love for the yellow colour itself stronger, and the hate of yellow on me stronger as well.
The eyeshadow itself had great staying power, was easy enough to use and for someone who can use the shade it’d be a winner.
