We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Paula’s Choice skin care.
Anything that is a tried and true staple in my routine I order online without hesitation. Anything new that requires color matching I try and go in store as a lot of color charts online differ from seeing in person.
Repurchases (panned eyeshadows, emptied foundations, etc), skincare, setting powder, and primer.
So basically anything that doesn’t give a colour payoff/does not need swatching.
Nothing! I like the tactile nature of shopping in person. I like in-person contact with a sales associate. And I like being able to have the product in my hands immediately, rather than having to wait for it to arrive in the mail.
If I don’t have to pay for shipping, usually almost everything? I can’t lie, I am susceptible to the anticipation and excitement of waiting for a package to arrive and opening it up. Ha ha
My tried and true HG skincare, body care, hair products, plus many of my color cosmetics that I have gotten enough of an idea about both their performance via reviews and also seeking swatches on those who are at least somewhat close in skintone and depth to myself. So, since the start of the pandemic, almost everything!
Everything. I can take my time and compare products/swatches/reviews, no disgusting testers or chaotic store environment.
Eyeshadow/eyeliner as long as I’ve seen swatches, anything higher-end that I can’t get in person at Target or Walmart.
Actually I would prefer to purchase all of my beauty products in person, so I can see and swatch for myself, but that is just not possible here in Aus – due to the lack of brand availabiliy eg Lorac, the full range of PMG etc. Often we only get a limited sample of brands.
So I end up having to purchase certain brand’s individual products online eg CP’s Lux Lipsticks, Lorac’s eyeshadow palettes, PMG’s eyeshadows, SG’s singles etc. Up until recently, even CT’s products I had to purchase online.
When the above brands have sales on, we don’t even get those and it is often cheaper to purchase selected items from the brand online.
None at all – online shopping is not a preference at all for me (except for Audible audio books!)
I like to buy most things online. It’s easier for me.
