Urban Decay Virgin eye shadow out of my Naked palette. I think this is the first eye shadow I have ever finished!
It’s literally so sad when you completely finish a product! It’s like you gave away a child.
No. I feel triumphant, like I’ve achieved a long striven for goal.
SPF Lipbalm , a bottle of Agave hair oil, Shea Moisture Curl & Style milk for hair, and Yes to Coconut body lotion
Oh goodness, let me see, I did finish up the first travel size bottle of Tarte Maracuja Oil that I think I may have gotten back in early April(?), first tub of Hada Labo Skin Plumping Gel Cream, and one Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara, almost done with a tube of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen. I think thats all?
A deluxe sample of Orogold 24K Deep Renewal Night Cream, 10 oz. bottle of Quantum Riveting Reds Color Replenishing Shampoo, travel sized Matrix Repair Conditioner, full sized Nu Skin Night Supply Nourishing Cream, full sized Degree deodorant, e.l.f. Mist & Set, bhcosmetics Studio Pro Makeup Brush Cleaner, bhcosmetics Eye & Lip Makeup Remover, Kirkland face wipes, travel pack of Burt’s Bees face wipes.
I love the e.l.f. Mist & Set! I hate the pump, but I solved that problem by transferring it into an old MAC Fix+ Travel Size bottle and it works perfectly!
I put mine into a different spray bottle, too. The pump on the original bottle does not give a fine enough mist.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
This is my go-to evening concentrate. So nice! Though I’ve been finding it a bit too heavy in the summer heat…
Clarins multiactive day cream.
Use up?
Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
(probably a moisturizer, Olay Regenerist Super Structure Cream)
A sample size of Dermalogica C-12 Pure Light serum and a small tub of Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Scrub, which smelled amazing but the new one I have smells and looks different- why?!
My Estée Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara.
🙁 Sad face, because it wasn’t until I saw this question that I realized that I had completely forgotten to order a new one. Thanks for the reminder, Christine.
MAC Brule and Wedge eye shadows, UD Original Primer Potion, Benefit They’re Real mascara, Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturiser, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer (which I was devastated about!).
I love the Honey Bronzer!
My morning moisturizer DECLÉOR Aroma Lisse Energising Smoothing Cream (I’ve had to look for the exact name, soooo long). I have bought a new bottle inmediately because It has changed my skin.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue
Marc Jacobs Omega Lash Mascara.
I received a sample size and love it. Makes my lashes long, full and feathery. Great on my bottom lashes too. I am going to pick up a full size today!
An expensive month for skincare.. ran out of three key products within 3 weeks: Skinceuticals vit C E ferulic acid serum, Koh Gen Doh spa water, IS Clinical Youth Serum and makeup wise, a MAC sculpt mascara. Picked up the replacement skinceuticals and gangly klutz arms akimbo here proceeded to knock the damn bottle over one early early morning and lost 3/4 of the new bottle.. that hurt.
I finally scraped the last of my IT CC cream out of the tube I’d cut open. I’ve got a “super-sized” replacement as well as a tube in the “Illumination” formula (I don’t like it as much – it feels a bit thicker and heavier). That’s about it (no pun intended) though I’ll soon be at the end of my Shiseido eye cream (the one with SPF) too.
Neutrogena body mist sunscreen. It’s always sunscreen I finish in the bink of an eye
Alterna shampoo, Archipelago mint lotion, Fiji tangerine lotion, Philosophy body wash mini’s in lemonade and basil cucumber, Skinceuticals face wash, a mini Lancome bifacil makeup remover, Alterna curl cream.
Diorshow Mascara, Burberry Fresh Glow
NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Espresso, Shea Moisture Illuminating Powder aka Bronzer in Mandalay Dusk (perfect bronzer for us chocolate girls), LA Girls Pro Concealer in Fawn, and L’Oréal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum.
These are all Holy Grail products and I have multiple backups of all of the above!
I heard a lot of great things about Shea Moisture beauty products. I will have to try them but I do not see their makeup at my local target. I will check online. Thanks MissJae1908 🙂
Paula’s Choice Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 (all zinc-oxide sunscreen that I love for my neck and upper chest), First Aid Beauty face cleanser.
I’ve almost finished a pot of NARS Eye Paint in Porto Venere, which I’ve been using as an eyeshadow base in place of MAC Paint Pot in Painterly, so I re-ordered it. At this point in my life Painterly is beginning to emphasize texture on my lids, whereas the bit of shimmer in Porto Venere actually diffuses it a bit. On casual days I wear it by itself from lashline to eyebrows, behind my glasses, and it brightens up my eye area. Other days it locks down other eyeshadows I layer on top of it very well. A MUA at Blue Mercury tipped me off to using Porto Venere this way.
I am going to check this one out!
Thanks for the tip on Nars Poroto Venere.. I loved MAC painterly as a base for years, but also starting to find all paint pots a bit too dry for my mature eyes. Texture issues.
Becca Evermatte Poreless Primer
ABH Brow Wiz
A deluxe sample size of Marc Jacobs Omega Lash Mascara (bought the full size)
Boscia Makeup Breakup Cleansing oil, Fresh Seaberry moisturizing oil
In August I’ve used, and LOVED the clinique blushes in peach pop and berry pop, the lorac pro 1 and 2 and the Lancome Juicy Tubes in Fraise . I traveled , and these were the most in handy things I was sooo very glad to have with me.
L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray, Clean & Clear Eye Makeup Remover, L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil, Philosophy Fresh Cream Lotion, Pantene Dry Shampoo.
Dude, I go through that L’occitane almond shower oil as if it were water! But it’s so nice…
It is amazing stuff, I will never be without it. I have 3 L’Occitane shower gels in my shower at all times so it takes me a while to use the almond oil as I use the other two as well.
I wish I had the budget for the L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil. I have a sample size of it from the Almond pack of things they had last month, but I’m still balking at the price of a full size. But OMG it is soooooo good.
Right now L’Occitane’s website has the HUGE bottle w/pump (500 ml) on sale. Or buy the refill size and put in a container you already have. It is so worth it as you use very little.
I think 4 lip products, two lotions, a fragrance mist, and a few shower products. Maybe some deluxe samples, too. I try to rotate out products every few weeks and concentrate on products that are older or nearly empty do I can keep my stash as uncluttered as possible!
* Lancone Artliner in black
* Another tube of NARS concealer in Chantilly
* Supergoop! mineral skin soothing sunscreen
* Sample size bottle of Algenist Advanced Anti Aging Repairing Oil (note: this stuff was beyond impressive. Wish the price for a full size bottle weren’t so much higher than other facial oils!)
I used up my YSL Baby Doll Faux Cils mascara and replaced it with YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils. I like the Baby Doll MUCH BETTER.
I finished off a Clinique eye cream (I use the Kiehl’s avocado one so I just needed to get rid of the Clinique one), and I’ve been going through a bunch of deluxe samples trying to reduce clutter (like the Fresh Soy Cleanser thingy). I also finished off one of my two Lush cleansers which got me to the 5 empty pots mark for a free face mask. I finished a bottle of my sunscreen (and bought a backup a week prior). Some Burt’s Bee’s lip balms. Nothing new finished up in the makeup department as I can’t wear it that often now.
ABH Brow wiz..this is probably the 5th one I’ve been through this year lol
Actually, I think that’s it. I haven’t really worn a lot of makeup in August since it’s so freaken hot and humid, on top of me working and going to school, there’s just no time!
Clinique Turnaround serum, Paula’s Choice Hyaluronic Acid Booster, Nars Light reflecting setting powder pressed, Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme CC cream.
Will you repurchase Nars light reflecting setting pressed powder?
Definitely, this is my third one! It mattifies but gives some glow at the same time, doesn’t dry out my skin or accentuate dry patches, and never looks cakey, however much you apply or re-apply. Also fab for setting undereye concealer! 🙂
Thanks! Will definitely grab one soon! Maybe today!
My aveeno skin moisturizer and my maybeline fit me foundation (dewy finish and matte finish)
Foundation: better skin, maybelline
Primer: happy light, bourjois
Serum: lacura
Hair conditioner: black malva, aveda
…and my beloved JoMalone mandarin, basil and lime fragance
Haha. I loved reading these responses, because nobody that I know uses as many products as me.
Good to see others tracking their deluxe samples too, like precious gems.
I used up my Urban Decay setting spray deluxe sample, Make Up Forever gray eyeliner, AG liter shampoo, a bottle of MoroccanOil, Palmer’s cocoa butter stick, deluxe sample of BareMinerals Stroke of Light, and deluxe sample of Ole Henriksen Red Tea cleanser.
Sisley Sensitive cream in the pink jar and Sisley lip balm in the little pink jar. I like La Mer’s lip balm better but both are good.
Deoderant, OGX and Acure Shampoo/Conditioner, and a Burts Bees tinted lip balm in Raisin.
Sunscreen and deodorant. Because, August! Lol. Also some skincare, mainly serums.
Just a few, Josie Maran Argan Oil light (My holy grail), Sephora Wipes, and Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow in Glisten.
My Nude by Nature primer, Cetaphil moisturising cream and my NYX Sunkissed blush palette.
I finished a deluxe sample of Shiseido ULTIMUNE Power Infusing Concentrate, my Clinique Liquid Facial Soap (Mild), a tube of LaVanilla Body Butter, and I finally forced myself to throw out what was left of the UD Naked Skin foundation.
Laura Mercier Primer
Olay’s original night cream! However I will not be repurchasing because it is not cruelty free
Okay original night cream however I will not re-purchase it because it is not cruelty free which is a complete bummer because I absolutely loved it and it smelled so amazing!
