What moisturizer are you currently using during the day?

What moisturizer are you currently using during the day? Lovin’ it?

.

I’m currently using Chanel’s Ultra Lifting Day Cream, and I do like it a good bit — very luxurious, fast absorbing, and feels amazing on skin without being heavy.

i am using korres pomegranate balancing moisturizer and it is the most amazing moisturizer i have ever used. SO light yet SO moisturizing and it helps curbs greasiness in my t-zone while making all of my skin super duper soft. can’t get enough.

I alternate between clinique redness solutions daily relief cream clinque dramitically different moisturizing lotion and cetaphi daily moisturizer…it depends on how my skin is that particular day : )

If I’m staying indoors, Cerave. If I’m going outdoors, but only for quick errands, I’ve got an SPF 15 moisturizer from Trader Joes that has a nice light scent and sinks in really well without that heavy sunscreen feel.

i’m using tea time moisturizer made in this local shop called naked body and bath, in houston. really gentle stuff and helps control oil. lots of other brands can cause me to breakout but i’ve never had a problem with this stuff.

Mariana Avatar

I am using Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer and I do like it. No smell, no fuss, it just simply works. I have combination skin and this works nicely, especially during the dry, winter season. I may switch to Kiehl’s Sodium PCA Oil-Free Moisturizer when the summer heat starts. I use to use this when my skin was very oily, and it did work quite nicely.

Mac oil control in my t zone (amazing) and lush imperialis all over my face. It’s pretty lightweight but doesn’t smell too yummy.

Quennie Avatar

I am currently using Cetaphil moisturizer with SPF 15 lightweight when I have foundation on. If not, then I use my Neutrogena tinted moisturizer.

AshleyMarie Avatar

I was using The Body Shop’s tea tree oil moisturizer but it was actually very drying so just yesterday I picked up The Body Shop’s Carrot moisturizer and I love it! If anyone has trouble picking skin products they should def check out The Body Shop! They have something for every skin type and for great prices!

i use clinique’s dramatically different moisturizing gel
about a pump and a half
mainly on my cheeks and sparingly on my tzone since I’m fairly oily there
I’m almost done with the bottle and want to try something new
any suggestions?
I have combo/oily & skin, mainly in the tzone.

Solange Avatar

I have combo/oily skin in the t zone and also use Clinique´s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I have not found any other moisturizer that does the job as well as this one does, except for Clinique´s Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. And I have really searched….

I’m actually using a Chanel one as well! Chanel’s Hydramax+Active, Active Moisture Cream. I use about a pea and a half size of the moisturizer, and it works famously on my normal to dryish skin. I’m really loving it.

Crystal Avatar

I’m currently using Philosophy’s hope in a jar for all skin types. I used to be afraid of using moisturizers because of my skin that feels drinched in oil, but not now. This moisturizer is nice and light-feeling; it never clogs my pores. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Currently using Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer Spf 30 with helioplex. It’s alright, less heavy than using sunscreen but still has that sunscreen smell and feel and not as light of a moisturizer as I would’ve liked. Nothing wrong with it so I’ll keep using it but I’ll be looking for a different daily moisturizer with spf after it runs out.

Amy Avatar

Clinique dramatically different lotion (I like the gel better but well i’m trying to finish the lotion for now). Nothing fancy, just a very basic moisturizer. Cheap, does the job, and works!

Nik Avatar

Olay Complete w/SPF daily! But I have a lot of anti aging Lancome creams too that I moisturize with! Love Primordial day and night and Genefique serum the MOST! Love my troubled skin more than ever, it has NEVER looked better!

debo Avatar

I’m using Dior HydrAction SPF 20 and if you don’t mind my quoting you, it feels just like you describe Chanel ” very luxurious, fast absorbing, and feels amazing on skin without being heavy.”!

Mimi Avatar

since its soo hott right now in the south..i’m using Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50 Facial moisturizer. =D does my skin some justice!

Kat Avatar

I’m using Neutrogena Fresh
Oil-Free Moisture. It’s working fine, and is supposed to have some multi-vitamin complex so hopefully it’s doing good things. Besides, I think I’m too young for anything more intense.

Coco Avatar

I’m using Dior’s Hydra-Action (SPF 20 I think it is too).
I’m not the greatest fan of the product. It does quite a good job at hydrating and protecting my skin but the texture isn’t very desirable to me. It’s quite thick and heavy feeling. I don”t think it’s anything special to be honest. I would like to try the sorbet moisturizer they have out but I’m worried I’ll be dissapointed again :(.

BIOTHERM “Aquasource Non Stop” for very dry skin +
CLARINS “Intensiv Serum Bi-Phase” since I have very dry skin, exapt the T-zone. And it is TRUE LOVE! ♥

Leavs my skin moistured, without the typical oily feeling, when you use products for dry skin. And the Serum helps to get my T-Zone under control… But I rather have a shiny nose, then to use too abrasive products, that leave my skin mat but dry.

maria Avatar

i’m using Bioderma Sebium Mat – great for combo to oily skin, feels light yet hydrates, works well under makeup, and i find it actually does help control oil!

i loved the trilogy vital moisturising cream €30 that i used to use but i bit pricy so i changed to vichy aqualia (€19) but the tube has gone very fast!

Jakara Avatar

I am currently using Cetaphil moisturizer and I like it. It is smooth and creamy. It asorbs really well and it is light.

Margot Avatar

I am currently using Kiehl’s Ultra lotion SPF 15 (or whatever the name is exactly). It is super lightweight and fresh on the skin and it has a little SPF that is sufficient when there is no sun or very little sun !

Erin K Avatar

Clinique’s All about rich eye cream and Clinique’s dramatically different moisturizing lotion. Awesome stuff for my super dry skin!

Lauren Avatar

MAC Studio Fix + SPF 15 Moisturizer. This stuff is amazing for people with combination skin. It feels like butter. I can mix it with ANY foundation (including MUFE Mat + Velvet and Nars Sheer Glow), and it doesn’t ruin the integrity of the product. Yay for home made tinted moisturizer.

Daphnee Avatar

I’m using Mac’s Studio Fix Moisturizer with SPF 15. I mix it with Studio Fix liquid foundation and it makes the best tinted moisturizer!

Nicole Avatar

I’m using Chanel Hydramax Active Gel Cream! I am in love with this stuff. I use it both day and night, but I add serum in the evening. It totally absorbs, leaving my skin unbelievably soft. I know some people wouldn’t like that it’s fragranced though. What DOESN’T Chanel fragrance? Haha.

Anitacska Avatar

Dior Hydra Action with SPF20. A nice light day cream for the summer. Got it as a sample, but it’s huge, 15 ml, so it’s lasted me forever. Btw, I think Dior is possibly one of the most generous brands when it comes to samples. I mean 15 ml of face cream?! 🙂

Trisha Mae! Avatar

I have been currently using Biore’s Skin Preservation dual fusion moisturizer with SPF 30. It leaves my skin non greasy, yet provides me with a great amount of SPF for my everyday usage. I ♥ this stuff!

Nora Avatar

Mario Badescu Oil Free moisturizer with SPF-17. I’ve been using it for the past few months as part of my Mario skincare routine, and I really love it. It moisturizes just right and never makes my skin feel greasy or unmoisturized. The only thing I dislike is the packaging since it clogs up often (you know the way lotions sometimes make a little plug? Yeah, it does that), but it’s really no big deal.

Kerry Avatar

No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream. i like it cause i have really dry skin and it definately is more moisturusing than others ive used in the past 🙂

Rae Avatar

100% Pure’s moisturiser with SPF 20. I love it!

P.S. I noticed Alford & Hoff this morning on Glit and had to lol 😛 You and the bf were *made* for beauty blogging!

Pam Avatar

i use L’oreal futur E spf 15. i think i’m the first to mention this in this blog. I think i want to switch and try something new… 🙂

Jenny Avatar

I’m currently using Olay’s Complete All Day UV Daily Moisturizer. This is a great moisturizer because it doesn’t make your skin all oily and greasy. It also works as a sunscreen and it makes your skin feeling soft all day. I defiantly recommend this for anyone looking for some new moisturizer to try!!

Candi Avatar

Shiseido’s Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion for Face/Body SPF55 PA+++, it’s moisturizing (maybe a little too much for oily skin), but it’s really runny and easy to smooth it onto ur face, my skin is dry/combo so i love it.

Ashley Avatar

Jojoba oil! It’s not perfect, but it’s the best I’ve been able to find. All conventional lotions leave a layer on my skin and leave me greasy, however light it is. I just apply 1 drop with wet hands onto my dry face and neck and massage until the water is dry, then pat my skin once it’s had time to sink in.

Sass Avatar

I’m currently using Neutrogena Oil-Free and Clinique Dramatically Different blah blah Gel. I’m in the market for a new brand…I hope to get some ideas from the comments here.

Comvita Honey Everyday Whitening Moisturizer – it’s winter here in NZ and my skin normally gets really dry (and flaky, bleh!) in cold weather but this product uses all natural ingredients including manuka honey (and it smells delicious!), leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety and has COMPLETELY changed the moisture balance in my skin.
My cloasma patches have started to fade after only three weeks too.

LOVE.

Christy Avatar

I have very sensitive acne prone skin so I wear Proactive moisturizer with 15 SPF, I like it it’s light and nongreasy.

Jenni Avatar

Olive oil! I dab a tiny amount on after misting my face with rose water. I have combination skin. The parts that are oily are very oily and the parts that are dry are very dry. Every moisturizer I’ve ever tried has not been enough for the dry areas and just made me feel greasy. The olive oil absorbs so well and does the job and doesn’t cause me to be greasy! It doesn’t cause any breakouts either.

I also use it to remove makeup.

Jennifer Avatar

I have been LOVING soap and glory’s moisturizer “catch a wrinkle in time”. i think it really does perfect my skin. it’s looking so good and the best part is that i don’t get oily throughout the day from using it.

Ru Avatar

Switching back and forth between two:
Origins A Perfect World – very little goes a long way with this. I used to have oily skin, but somewhere it turned into combination so this is moizturizing without greasiness. It feels a little heavy for summer now, so I sometimes switch to…
Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting moisturizer – which absorbs easily without feeling greasy. It’s good for those days when I don’t have a dry problem, good under makeup, and is supposed to even out your skin tone.

Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute Sucrative

Had purchased it a while ago and yielded no results so I tossed it aside. Had been using Origins A Perfect World, which I willed myself to love – it unfortunately caused imperfect skin for far too long. Dug out Nuxe Creme Fraiche again and I have to say my skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated.
