Tinted moisturizer(aveeno), bronzer(qianyu), concealer(garnier), waterproof mascara(maybelline one by one), regular mascara(maybelline define a lash), neutral Mac palette(aquadisiac for color, embark, woodwinked, all that glitters), 2 Mac lipsticks and 2 lipglosses.
Maybelline tinted moisterizer. Waterproof eyeliner and mascara and a tinted lipbalm
Skin 79 Pink Label BB Cream, UD Naked Palette, UDPP, UD 24/7 liner in Demolition, Maybelline Great Lash mascara, Benefit Coralista, oil blotting sheets, crease brush. Those are the bare essentials!!!
Face- primer, BB cream, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, highlighter.
Eyes- primer, Naked palette, black eyeliner, plum or navy liner, black liquid liner, eyelash curler, mascara.
Lips- nude liner, lipstick, and gloss, one or two bright lip colors.
Does it make me boring if I say that I pack my every day makeup but add in some color eye shadows just to spice things up?!?

My travel set of brushes (Sephora), a liquid concealer (Maybelline), stick concealer (Physicians Formula), eyeliner (UD), mascara (Lancome or YSL), blush (Tarte) and a few different lip products like a balm (Maybelline Baby Lips), gloss, liner and lipstick (MAC). I try to keep it minimal when I travel but still like to look pretty, I only take more if I’m attending an event like a wedding or something special where I really want to be done up.
It would of course depend on the kind of trip I’m taking (beach/city/mountain, romantic getaway/girls’ or family weekend etc.), the time of year and the activities I have planned, but I usually take the following: Kanebo Sensai Fluid Finish foundation, an eyeshadow palette (if planning to wear subtle makeup I’ll usually take my NARS Alhambra or Madagascar duos; if planning something more elaborate, then one of my customized Inglot or Artdeco palettes), Artdeco All In One mascara, MAC Teddy eyeliner, NARS Sex Appeal blush, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Evasion and Rouge Dior in Cinderella, possibly a bolder lip color too. (I don’t usually wear this much NARS, but I find their packaging very compact and easy to travel with – plus it’s always dirty anyway unless it’s new, so I don’t worry about ruining it that much.)
Throw in a couple of brushes, some skincare and sunscreen, and a few perfume samples and I’m good to go!
I tend to overpack, even for a weekend trip. So my list might be a little long, haha.

I always wear alot of makeup, because I have alot of scars and discoloration to cover. I would probably bring a heavy duty concealer, OCC Concealer, and my foundation, Lancôme 24h, and my powder from NARS. A blush, probably MAC Peaches. I would bring two brown colours, for brows and for eyeshadow – probably MAC Handwritten and Espresso. I would bring my mascara, Lancôme Hypnose Drama, and the most important – my MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack.
LM Tinted Moisturiser, Julie Hewett Cheek & Lip Shine, Shiseido Automatic Brow Pencil, Mascara of the month ( YSL or Covergirl LashBlast, MUFE Aqua eyeliner in Black and Clarins Instand Light Lip Perfector in Peach.
I always bring too much on a weekend away. If I am doing something fancy it’ll be this. Liquid foundation, powder compact, eye shadow base, three or four eyeshadows, one or two eyeliners eg liquid for night pencil for day, mascara, one blush and maybe a bronzer, brow powder, one or two lip glosses, a lipstick, a perfume, minimum number of brushes, and a dual mirror.
Bioderma spf 100 sunscreen, Bourjois healthy mix foundation, beauty blender, smashbox liner in java or fig, maybelline brow pencil, soap & glory what’s nude quad, maybelline tough as taupe, fairy drop mascara, sephora eyelash curler, Mac lady blush , for lips loreal colour riche balm + sigma E45 and F15 🙂
depends on what i’m going to do, but probably just sunscreen, mascara, concealer & powder.
I went on a lot of short trips this summer (music festivals, weekend trips, spur of the moment trips, etc), and I brought pretty much the same items every time: tinted moisturizer (NARS), concealer (MAC prolongwear), blot powder (MAC), UD’s Naked 2 palette, bronzer (NYC), 1 blush (Tarte’s Exposed), brow powder (MAC’s brow shader), 1 liner (MAC’s Blacktrack fluidline – I use it on the lid and waterline), mascara (Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes), and 2 lipsticks (MAC’s Russian Red, and Hue). I also bring about 5-6 brushes, and tweezers. 🙂
I used to bring three times the amount of products, so I’m pretty happy I was able to downsize. 😛

Tinted suncreen or a sample jar of liquid foundation, mini jar of mineral treatment powder, concealer, mini eye primer, a sample baggie of concealer setting powder, some sample baggies of loose eyeshadows, a sample baggie of highlighter, a sample baggie of blush (or a small pot blush if it’s a longer trip), 2-3 pencil eyeliners, liquid eyeliner pen, mini mascara, 2-3 lipsticks, 1-2 glosses, my dual-ended eyeshadow/crease brush, 3-4 travel-sized make-up brushes, and a tinted brow gel (if I haven’t had the chance to dye my brows).
Most of them fits in a 2-compartment cell phone pouch, so while it seems like a lot of products, they don’t take very much space at all. 😀

Burberry or UD NAKED foundations (only ones that don’t require a lightener), Anastasia brow pencil and brow wiz, corrector (Bobbi brown) and concealer (benefit booing), my Bobbi brown palette (shell, beige, fawn, bone shimmer, taupe, and black chocolate) and/or my UD palette (zephyr, walk of shame, sellout, midnight cowboy, bust, and brodello), Bobbi gel liner in black and blackened mauve, UD zero and demolition liners, blushes in Rimmel Santa Rose and NARS orgasm, Dior Rose Diamond Highlighter, lipsticks in Geurlain gemma, Clinique chubby stick in bountiful blush, YSL glossy stain in 15, and finally my brushes. Whew!
I usually bring a liquid foundation, my beauty blender, Blot Powder, a blush, neutral eye shadows (palette by Bobbi Brown, or personal MAC Quad with colors like Patina, Shroom, Brun, Blanc Type, Quarry, Vex, Copperplate), Painterly Paint Pot, black and grey liner, 3 lipsticks (e.g. Rouge Coco Shine or Rouge d’Armani Sheer and Barcelona Red by MAC), 2 lipglosses (Nars Orgasm, Pink Tuelle by Bobbi) and lots of brushes.
I bring two eyeshadow palettes (smashbox shades of fame and UD Naked2), bobbi brown gel eyelinder, chanel rose initiale blush, YSL touche eclat foundation, Skin 79 Oriental Gold BB cream, nars smudgeproof, hourglass extreme sheen lipgloss in truth and lush, chanel lipstick in mademoiselle, dior nude tan glow in honey, and chanel inimitable intense mascara in regular and waterproof!
Maybe it’s easier to list the things I DON’T bring 😉 I take all my basics: eye pencil, eyeliner, mascara, concealer, foundation, blush, setting powder, my brushes,… And then 10 shades of eyeshadow or so, so I can mix it up a bit. That’s the bare minimum, I think.
My to-go bag is already packed so that makes this easy! 😀 To start, I have two foundation routines:
For hot and/or long days: Mac pro longwear foundation and concealer, neutrogena ultra sheer liquid sunscreen (for under foundation), tarte smooth operator finishing powder
For when I’m in a hurry and/or I want a very natural look: Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation and corrector perfection concealer, neutrogena sunscreen, hourglass mineral veil primer
Also: Chanel Soleil tan de chanel bronzer, Guerlain meteorites cruel gardenia highlighting powder, Nars hungry heart highlighting duo, Tarte amazonian clay blush in Glisten, MAC gold mode loose pigment, MAC NC15 chromagraphic pencil (waterline), MAC e/s in Brown Down (brows), MAC paint in bare canvas (eye primer), MAC pearlglide eyeliners (black swan, petrol blue, and lord it up), UD Perversion e/l, GA black e/l (LOVE IT!), Jack Black Lip Balm, UD grind house, MAC brushes, Revlon slanted tweezers, Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara, and most importantly….Chanel Prelude eyeshadow quad! I used to haul around the NAKED palette until I found Prelude…it’s like the colors were made for me! 😀 This all may seem like a lot, but it fits into a surprisingly tiny makeup bag! 😀
Rollergirl and Naked would be my picks too! My favorite palettes.
I’d bring: Sunscreen (EltaMD sunscreen, MAC Pre+Prime Face Protect – I’m really pale and I double up under foundation), light foundation (Prescriptives Virtual Skin foundation – still my favorite), 1 blush (MAC Shell Pearl beauty powder), eyeshadow palettes, eyeshadow primes (UDPP & MAC Bare Study Paint Pot), eyeliners (MAC Rich Ground fluidline & UD Lucky pencil), eye brow filler (MAC Brow shader), mascara (Max Factor in Auburn), lip glosses (probably MAC Bait and Flash of Flesh), and lipsticks (a bright pink like MAC HOllywood Nights and lighter version like Naughty Sautee).
And I just realized that sounds like a ton of stuff but, with my brushes,it all fits in two small make-up bags.
Oh, and I forgot powder, MUFE HD.

It depends on what I’m going for, as to what products I bring with me. But generally:
Essentials – Foundation/Primers (eye and face)/Setting Powder/Mascara
Face – Blush(es)/Highlighter/Concealer
Eyes – Neutral palette (usually a small, 4-colour one) and one or two more colourful singles
Lips – One bold and one neutral lipstick, possibly a lipgloss/balm (ah,the joys of having naturally soft lips >>)

Face: Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer creme compact, Chanel Perfection Lumiere if I’m going somewhere that requires fancy makeup 🙂 A blush or two, probably Burberry Peony and maybe Tarte Exposed, or something else depending on weather and what I’m wearing. Guerlain Meteorites compact (although that lives in my purse) and Laura Mercier pressed powder in shine control. Hourglass Veil Mineral primer.
Eyes – Naked 2 palette, a couple eyeliners (black and brown probably), mascara (I keep changing but I’ve fallen in love with my Noir G sample, so I may cave and buy it) Maybe one of theBalm Shady Lady palettes.
Lips – whatever lip glosses and lipsticks I fit in my travel bag. I tend to overpack these but I like having options *g* The last trip I went on I tossed in all my Dior Addict Extremes and my Burberry lipsticks, along with my Burberry and Bobbi Brown lip glosses.
I might throw in a few more items depending on where I’m going and what kind of makeup will be required – like if I’m going to a wedding or a formal event I’ll probably bring specific lipsticks and/or blushes.

Plus my favorite brushes to apply everything with!

I like to travel really light for a weekend trip and I don’t care to wear much makeup, but I do like to take enough products that give me some choice.
-Clinique’s BB cream
-MAC’s Studio concealer
-MAC’s Mineralized Skin Finish
-A bright, slightly shimmery blush (such as Benefit’s Bella Bamba)
-UD Primer Potion
-UD Naked Palette
-Any mascara
-Usually two lipglosses or a lip stain (something neutral and soft and something with a bit of a pop)
I like to fit everything in 1 makeup bag if possible.
Foundation: Smashbox BB Cream, Smashbox Halo Powder, Estee Lauder Double Wear powder
Blush: Depends – lately the Lancome trio I bought recently because it has blush, a highlighter and a bronzer.
Eyeshadow: An eyeshadow palette (either UD Naked, UD Rollergirl, or UD Fun 2011). If I bring Rollergirl, I bring my singles of Naked and Smog. If I bring the Naked palette, that’s probably it, but I may toss in my Too Faced Boy Toy duo in case I want color. If I bring Fun, I will also bring a single of Naked.
Other eye stuff: One brown and one black (always Zero) eyeliner, mascara, and my Eyelash curler.
Lipstick: usually 3 or 4 different ones.
Brushes: I often toss my brush roll into my suitcase, though I also have a bunch of miniature brushes that work really well. They’re all EcoTools brand.
Forgot to add: UDPP and Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer.
MAC Studio Fix powder, NARS cream blush in Lokum, MAC Superslick liquid eyeliner, MAC Stud or Spiked eyebrow pencil, Tarte Fiery lip stain, Covergirl Lash Blast mascara, Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer, Viva Glam VI lip glass, Real Technique buffing brush and my travel sized stippling brush for my cream blush.
im actually leaving this weekend and waiting till the last minute to pack my makeup. Im stuck between saying “its vacation and i need to look fabulous for pics at all times” OR “its vacation and i need to be natural and not worry about it” All the different comments here dont help LOL
