My Sephora Glitter Eyeliner! Some people don’t like it, but I think it works just great! No fall out, super easy to apply, just have to wait to let it dry, it doesn’t sting and importantly it’s uber glittery!
OMG do you know how hard it is to find sparkle and glitter to powder all over yourself when you want it?? I went to a party several weeks back and I wanted all over body glitter. Well! I found (and luckily I may add!) only ONE type of body glitter that did the amount of sparkle I wanted! And it really wasn’t cheap (I just wanted a cheapey to really go nuts on), about $25 for a powder puff one in a department store. No others. Nothing! =C Makes me sad that people are so against sparkle and glitter these days! Its so fun!
I remember Benefit did a really great one with a giant pouf!

You can try Claire’s, Justice, or any other store that specializes in clothing and/or accessories for tweens. If you have access to a Claire’s, I think that would be the best place to start. HTH
MAC Reflects in Antique Gold! I’m not a big on the sparkles (I even can’t wear shimmery blush…looking at you, NARS Orgasm), but this glitter/pigment is awesome for the eyes.
The highlighter shade in Revlon’s Photoready blush palette (I have the brown-toned one; Neutral I think it’s called) is super sparkly! The sparkle is a bit too piece-y for normal use, but to amp up the glitz it’s perfect. There are also a few Essence eye shadows with a ton of glitter that are a bit temperamental but have a lot of sparkle.
Well, it was the MAC Reflects Glitters, but now I am totally obsessed with the LORAC 3D Liquid Lustre! I’m actually wearing it now with my NYE eye makeup. It’s SUPER sparkly, and I don’t have to fuss with adhesives, and I don’t notice any fall out.
MAC’s Silver Dusk!Had the same one for about 14 years now and I can’t run out of the damn thing! I love it to death and use it frequently.

If I really want to sparkle, I will use MAC Powder in Silver Dusk, which I bought over 10 years ago.
TKB Trading’s blended white called Zirconium Cluster. They were giving away samples for a while. They also have a page on their white’s where you can compare translucency, shimmer and micron size. I use this wet or dry.
Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure. I only use it for special occasions because I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get more of them.
That departure from Sephora was to open her own stores. I know one is open in San Francisco. Google her up. The names will change, but not the aesthetic.
Joni–check your local Sephora(s)–I just picked up Opal on 12/26/12, and they had more than 20 in stock. I live in a very busy area, too; I never expected anything to be left, but they had everything Tarantino. $11 isn’t bad at all for a backup! 😉
I don’t have a “go-to” product, but I will pick one feature and use one (or more, LOL) products on either my eyes or lips. I have a myriad of glittery shadows (UD, NARS Night Series, L’Oreal, etc) I will most likely reach for, or for lips, I have quite a few glosses (Revlon or L’Oreal). I don’t care for a “sparkly” face, but I will use a shimmery or pearly highlighter.

I tested the LUI at the Nieman counter…..it smells nice tooo. Just to expensive for me. I do own the Benifit puffs in several flavors, great powder. I found my first at Sephora and then 4 at TJM. I also have a bottle of japanese cherry blossom from BBW with the similar spray nozzle as LUI from years ago. Glad i bought backup 🙂 on the semi-annual.
Yeah, Liu is GORGEOUS, but it’s not something I’d probably pay for. Well, I might buy one if only because it is really elegant packaging, but aside from that, I think body sparkle/shimmer doesn’t need to be super fancy, lol! I don’t have my Benefit ones, but I did have two when I was way younger. They were fun 🙂
NARS Orgasm illuminator. I got it from the hubby for Christmas 2011 and I use it every time I wear makeup. I put it on before I apply my mineral foundation and it looks like I glow from within 😀
For the body, I have some old (but kept in a dark dry secret place) Bare Essentials diamond powder, and I have some Urban Decay Marshmallow powder. For the eyes, I use Nars night collection. I don’t put sparkle on my cheeks or lips, too old for that.
I confess: I love the UD Lickable Body Powders, especially the Marshmallow. I even let my 3-year-old son put this on his hands when he wants to be sparkly!
For the face, I really love a setting powder by Estee Lauder–Re Nutriv loose. It has crushed pearls, and gives you a gorgeous glow.
Eyes: I’m still a fan of Lit Cosmetics, and I think I wore Lit out every single day and night during the holidays.
Also, like Joni mentioned below, Tarina Tarantino’s Glittercity is fantastic. I am so sad this has been discontinued!
Lips: MAC Ruffian Gold. I wish I had grabbed a backup! This is possibly my favorite lipstick. I wear it alone, and if I put on 2-4 coats, it becomes solid gold–no room for lipstick under it. I hope I find one in a CCO or something…
The Liu was a Christmas present from my mom to me. Of course I picked it out myself – she would have a heart attack if she knew how much it actually cost! Have not used it yet, but have used last year’s Vol de Nuit version and I love that!
